Previous thread. I think the current's stronger than the suggestion, as the guy wielding a weapon, combined with the caption, provides more context. The suggestion feels like something other than this trope as he's not a bystander, he's someone in the middle of the crowd in front of Loki who defies him.

I would agree that current on Badass Bystander is not ideal to inform the trope. A similar crop to OP's suggestion is currently used on Mage in Manhattan.

This image doesn't really demonstrate the topic well. While the scene is definitely the trope, the image doesn't reflect that - the guy is alone in both shots, it is not fully clear he's just a normal guy for that, and it's just him holding a shotgun.
I think this scene from The Avengers demonstrates the idea of the trope better - everyone kneeling before the villain with one person standing up to him, and from his attire and age (even viewing him from behind) it should be more clear he is not a hero, just a civilian.
