Also holy crap Mathilda is a beast. And her supports with Clive are hysterical.

Just to confirm, Conrad isn't a bastard, right? I'm pretty sure he said his mother was one of Lima's wives, but I want to double check for our trope page.

He isn't, but he only really answers to Duma, so there's a conflict of interest between Rudolf and him (and between the Rigellian Empire and the Duma Faithful by proxy) though it's not apparent at this point.

Also, with Duma essentially getting dark, fell powers, and being a rotting corpse dragon at the present, there's some rather striking parallels that can be made between Duma and Grima.

With forging, you could turn the Blessed weapons into the Regalias: the Mercurius, the Gradivus, and the Parthia. What does that imply? Are the Regalia forged blessed weapons that could be mass produced?

I guess there's some justification for why Regalia are in Valentia. In Gaiden, there's the Gradivus that's in Valentia for no reason. It can't be Camus since we took it and Hardin has it.

Less sad on Casual when they still say those lines if someone "dies", which just makes everyone come off as needlessly dramatic.

Someone posted a video on gameplay of the overclasses. 10 move horse unit? Magical fliers? Female Mages get enemy spells like Mire and Death? MALE MAGES ESSENTIALLY BECOME CANTORS?! Sign me up!

I've just defeated Grieth and recruited Sonya. I know that Grieth is resistant to magic, yet Celica ended up taking him out with a critical Excalibur.

Game's been very fun so far. Just hoping that Chapter 6 doesn't kick my ass once I get there. I'm all too familiar with getting my ass kicked in places associated with the number "6."

I got a look at some of the Chapter 6 enemy stats, and oh my.

Also, I've finally gotten to Chapter 4 and this is a right annoying slog it is! Witches, but especially Arcanists and Cantors, are horrible to deal with, and our playable archers are beginning to show that having superior range game won't matter much if their stats (and especially their defensive ones) are right garbage! I am thankful I recruited Deen instead of Sonya at the file I'm currently playing because having 5 Dread Fighters at the moment (Saber, Kamui, Jesse, Atlas, and Deen) has been really clutch in terms of having someone to take a hit, whether it be physical or magical.

Also, Deserts and now swamps? I wish we still had the unremarkable empty earlygame maps at this point! (Except when they're too big!)

Yep. It's the Pegasus Knight's overclass. It let's them learn magic spells alongside their use of lances.

So basically the Valentia version of Dark Fliers?

Yes. Literally Aversa.

Also, honestly, they're going to help a good deal in the bonus dungeon because the Risen and Terrors in Thabes become really strong the further you go to the point a single enemy can go toe-to-toe with your previously god-like units.

Also, finally reached the last bastion before Rudolf himself. I just have to take on a Bow Knight and- HOLY CRAP! IT'S FUCKING SLAYDE! Haven't seen hide nor hair of that guy since I killed Desaix's body double! If it wasn't for Gangrel, he'd probably set a record for how long an unimportant earlygame villain actually survives in this series.

Oh, and he's a Gold Knight now.

On Duma, Fell God is evil God in Japan. Basically while his worshippers call him the "War Father"(War God in Japan), Mila's worshippers call him Evil/Fell out of their hatred for him. I also would hardly call Grima decayed, just Obviously Evil in appearance.

Why is Duma is decayed anyway?

Everyone, come and suffer with me.

Near the end of Act 4, and I can confidently state Kliff is the MVP of Alm's group. He's a godly archer, blowing up basically anything annoying. Delthea and Luthier are next, being the nukes of the group. Then Clair and Faye for being Pegs and doing a damn fine job of it.

For Celica it's my army of Priestesses (Celica, Mae, and Sonya) that are obliterating everything. The Whitewings are no slouches either, Saber is kicking a lot of ass, and Brave Sword Atlas murders things almost as well as my mages.

Okay, did I glitch the game? I completed Celica's side on Act 4 and on the part where Alm is ambushed by Necrodragons never happened. Is that a change in Echoes where Alm will never be attacked if Celica's side is completed first or is there something wrong I did that bypassed it?

.... I fucking hate Nuibaba... Her stage is just fricking annoying. Enemies holed up on top of the mountain and there's a Gargoyle Cantor, plus Dark Mages that continuously spam Fortify, then there are Dread Knights, and then there's her HP to One Medusa spell and the fact that she's on a terrain so becomes dodge-happy enough. I built up a lot of things in that game, used my Turnwheels... and Alm died. Fuck fuck fuck.

I feel like the game has an annoying habit of randomly throwing significant stat buffs to enemies between chapters, which is kind of dumb because I keep losing units despite the fact that I've been grinding. Or maybe I'm just constantly getting Speed screwed with 90% of my team, leading to enemy damage consistently being higher. I still hate how doubling is handled here.

Thank god Dread Fighter Saber with a Brave Sword is super broken. The dude consistently has +50% Crit and his high Speed ensures he always doubles. Also super glad that I don't do Classic.

I don't think its ever explained why Duma is decayed to the point his muscles and bones are showing. His Cyclops status is entirely unique to him.

RE: Sterok

Kliff is one of the best units, though he's nerfed from the original.

Falco Knights are probably the best class after Bow Knight.
