She probably just doodled on his face.
Well the trailer obviously intends to make it seem like a rape, regardless of what actually happens, so at the very least it would be false advertising.
And Harley is either still damaged from her relationship with Joker- or at least, hard to trust because of it. Really, Dick would have to be an idiot to date her, much less sleep with her.
Same thing goes for Ivy. Maybe she's reformed *now*, but who's to say she won't snap and become a killer again one day?
48 hours with Harley Quinn.
Also Batman is kind of a dick in the trailer.
I'm looking forward to it.
I like to keep my audience riveted. All of the promotional material thus far show that he has far dickish lines to deliver than the ones shown in the trailer.
Well, Harley, I'm sure, doesn't exactly do wonders for his patience. One of his lines from a previous preview is "You might decide that Ivy's plan isn't so cockeyed, because the wind changes. Or because it's Tuesday."

Everything You Need To Know About Batman And Harley Quinn
Not super-crazy about Harley's new voice.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! It's Bernadette from that BBT show or something.
It is, and she's decent enough. Still miss Sorkin.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I'm going to see this in the movie theaters next week. :)
I just got back from seeing, and it's excellent.

I like to keep my audience riveted. How is it?
The Protomen enhanced my life. It's awesome and funny. Plus it's cool to see Harley working on her own without the Joker.
I like to keep my audience riveted. The ending of this movie is the best!
Swamp Thing: My job here is done.
Harley Quinn: But you didn't do anything.
Swamp Thing: *Proceeds to flip cape*
Isn't that just the second chapter of Injustice 2?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaYeah that's what I literally thought the moment Harley and Ivy fight near the end.
Though in this movie Swamp Thing makes an appearance in the end to what seems like a Big Damn Hero moment as Batman, Nightwing and Harley couldn't beat Flourescent Man. But all he did when he showed up was give A Reason You Suck Speech to Jason's plans for a green earth and then immidiately leaves after calling him out. He literally did nothing to stop the villain who will continue his plan. Harley calls out Swamp Thing for not being of any help in spite of his initial grand entrance near the end.
Basically, the film is funny as hell and the ending was just perfect.
I really hope Harley's VA in this sticks around for future projects. She hits "jaded loon" a bit moreso than "psychotic Genki Girl," a good personality for Harley's modern characterization. I like her a lot better than most of the other V As she's had since Arleen.
As for the movie itself... eh. Harley is the breakout of the story, and she's pretty awesome. She basically carries the whole thing. Otherwise... it felt like someone tried to rewrite Harlequinade but then tried to make it more "adult," prioritizing references and mature jokes over basically everything but still trying to be an actual developed (rather than just a straight up comedy), and the plot just stumbles over itself trying to wrap its brain around it. It starts off very dark, then jumps to comedy halfway through, and then waffles back and forth between them.
In general, it feels like it wants to be a fun throwback to the BTAS / TNBA era while also being a tense action-packed adventure a la the BTAS / TNBA stories, but ends up looking like it doesn' know what it wants to be. And it's inconsistent enough that I'm surprised it's not straight out a Running the Asylum fan piece. It's definitely made so that DCAU fans can go "hey, I remember that," but at the same time it's just... arbitrary. It's not quite as bad about that sort of thing as Brainiac Attacks, but still. It's one of those movies that's made so much for fans that it forgets to be a movie.
Batman himself is all over the place characterization wise, and he and Nightwing are needlessly dickish, moronic and violent half the time - like they're written by a thirteen year old. And the whole thing really starts to feel that way the more it goes on.
Also, this would be the second time in a row we've had a pointless sex scene between the leading lady and one of the male Bat-Clan, and at this point I'm seriously starting to suspect Bruce Timm has something to do with it. Possibly more, but I didn't really pay much attention to the Damien movies.
So the movie's not great, but I'd recommend it for stuff that's not the story or the characters if that makes any sense. Watch it for Harley, and for the references to the other Batman series and movies.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. And they had a nice tribute to the Adam West Batman. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.Yeah that entire Henchmen Dive Bar scene was just the creators way to throw in every single Batman 66 reference in one scene.

And it was great. XD
I like to keep my audience riveted.I kinda had that feeling from the trailers.
I watched it and I agree with Unknown's assessment, more or less.
It's a pretty trite film.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Someone take Bruce Timm away from the franchise for a while. His performance here was lackluster. But after his stunt in The Killing Joke, his flaws have become so obvious and salient... He really should never have put his juvenile dialogue next to the likes of Alan Moore.
And enough with the sex already! It's dumb!
Edit: After the fact jokes, I now understand that the whole movie is dumb. And hilarious.
Harley's problem isn't being a sociopath. It's rejecting the compromises of adulthood.
Edit 2: the same could be said for this film.
It's really really dumb and bad. But also really really fun. It indeed feels like a fanfic by a 13 year old.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
If it turns out to be misleading like that, then my guess is she just takes his mask off.
