Eh, with these kinds of stories the author usually finds a way to keep the harem shenanigans going on for longer. Less annoying in this case because what Yuiga heard was just gossip, not a confession from Uruka's lips.
Anyone expecting something other than a reset button is likely going to be disappointed. These things are basically meant to be sitcoms, status quo as long as they're making money/the author and audience can stand it.

You are unnecessarily cynical. Yes there will not be any major twist and for time being everything will return to normal, but this mini arc should still serve as basis for future development.
Boring Uruka chapter is boring.

Chapter 26: Nariyuki gets sick from worrying. We get a sexy ramen scene.
Uruka is completely hopeless. He literally asked her outright if he's the guy she likes and she denied. She deserves to lose.
Chapter 27: Sensei being a bit pathetic is cute. I too understand the pains of trying to keep things tidy.
Nariyuki sure is a good guy trying to patch things up between Sensei and Ogata. His heart really is overflowing with kindness.

Not really though. Uruka backed off mainly respect Nariyuki wish who doesn't want get involved in any shuraba until exams are done. Even if she were loose to it, it wasn't particularly bad call.
That's her excuse, but she admits that she's just scared of getting rejected and not being able to be friends with him anymore.

27: So Sensei's room has been filthy all this time and it's only now that she has to pull in some schmoe to smack a cockroach for her? Suuuure. She's also apparently the one designated for butt shots. Also Ogata seems to be a lot more aware of her infatuation in this chapter.
28: Classic thing-that-only-happens-in-rom-coms. Kinda weird that Nariyuki slightly hinted at some unconscious affection for Uruka. Or not. Fumino still has the best faces and the best relationship with Nariyuki.
Chapters 29 and 30 are out. An actually pretty cute two-parter about an idiot with an insatiable curiosity. Almost kisses galore.

Man, Rizu really is adorable. I feel like we understand her a bit better than we did before. And man, reading it week to week the fake out must been really annoying.

I just picked up the first volume of this, but opinions seem... let's say mixed in here. The characters seem cute and all, but is it worth reading?
It's been fun.Is this your first harem? Have you read more than four harems and still enjoy them? Do you like sitcoms? Are you okay with Status Quo Being God?
It's good if you've never seen the genre's Strictly Formula points, or seen them enough to know what you're getting into. Plot progression will be weak, but (ideally) the individual episodes will be amusing.

We can't study is not in Status Quo Is Go D territory just yet though. I would say and it's definitely one of better harem & Romance shonen manga released now.

You know, I find the fact that Yuiga is positively elated at the prospect of spending the summer at a cram school to be profoundly sad. That boy really has no life outside of studying.
Right now I couldn't care less for the new girl. She seems boring, cliche and unnecessary.

Petition for whoever made the meme translation to make a series out of it. My favorite detail is translating Yuiga being Oblivious to Love to him being confused over what the genre is.
Well 26 is already released in Japan and while bit messy looking on 25 I would say Uruka position as main heroine will remain safe. Thank goodness.
