Chapter 17: Bwahaha, can't believe it was actually Mamoru!
Unlike that brat, Marie sure knows how to be a Queen.
Uh oh, Taiga is here, those jackasses are in for a world of pain.
I'm still not sure how Mamoru climbed all those floors. >.<
Two chapter in one day! Wohooo!
Chapter 18: Taiga goes on a rampage. It was awesome.
What the hell is a 10-Dan Molester?!
Taiga got branded as a siscon.
Chapter 19: What the hell was this chapter? It was a total chaos even by this series standards. And holy crap, Taiga looks so creepy right now.
Chapter 30: Yep, the end is nigh. And Marie-Antoinette is a bitch. Who knew. And Taiga effortlessly disposes of the two super-strong fighters he was told to avoid at all costs, since he's much more agile in his own body.
So much for the Quirky Mini Boss Squad, but that was to be expected if the series ends in two or three chapters. At least there's a plausible explanation.
Also, there's a Death Note reference, because why not.
So Hungry Marie will end with 4th volume. It's kinda sad, but I can't say I'm all too surprised. To be honest this series wasn't nearly as good as Beelzebub and even that one got axed eventually.
Well, $ volumes isn't a total failure, so I hope we'll see more from the author in the near future, hopefully with more success this time.
In the meantime there's still quite a lot of chapter that haven't been translated yet, so lets enjoy those.
The new issue of Jump is its last. RIP.
So, chap 33, eh? Not surprising, we were clearly at the climax. Though they could have at least granted it one more chapter to finish the volume.
Chapter 33. Marie disappeared after literally bringing Taiga back to life, and both Leo and Lilith are missing her. Yes, even Lilith. In the end, Marie comes back… looking like a little kid.
It was a pretty cute ending overall, but really, it would have been better if the author didn't have to basically skip a full chapter to jump straight to the epilogue. Ah well, it was still quite fun.
What killed the series was its relative lack of focus I think. Like, the whole part with Lilith could have been skipped entirely. I'm definitely fond of the author's style of comedy though; where he's lacking is rather in the artstyle and the story's pacing. Hope he polishes all that for his next series.
Huh, I guess the series won't be lost for everyone.
It's a bit weird that a publisher ran to get a cancelled series. I guess they're counting on the author's name and the fact the series is short.
Is that French? Maybe that has something to do with that?
So the first volume came out yesterday, and it was better than I remembered. Good paper and a pro translation probably help a lot, but I also think the story flows slightly better than chapter-by-chapter.

And so it begins...
