Ah, someone in another thread said "after the question mark."
Formerly KarmaMeter.Been watching gameplay trailer reacts, because I'm that starved for more Shadow of War content. Anybody have any recommendations? Especially of reactors who have played Shadow of Mordor and/or are familiar with the franchise? I prefer those kind of in-depth reviews to the ones where the people have absolutely no prior experience with the franchise.

Not really any more content for now, unfortunately. Most of the stuff that's happened has been like two-hour long Q&A sessions or something about the game. No new gameplay or anything.
Well, the short little Q&A session with Michael de Plater was pretty informative. But yeah, being starved for content. Which is why I'm trying to find good gameplay trailer reacts.
This post won't be relevant in about in hour after this writing, but the next stream is about to start: https://www.twitch.tv/monolithlive
Formerly KarmaMeter.I would watch, but I'm at work, and I usually just watch the Youtube video afterward anyway.
Tell me when there's more actual gameplay.
Or if Michael de Plater is on. Seriously, when people ask game-pertinent questions, that guy sings like a drunk hobbit. None of that "can't tell you yet" stuff with him, nope.
Do Uruks or Orcs have sex, or are they sexless? I've never seen a female Orc in Tolkein. (Though there's very few human females in the story, and dwarves hide their women.)
They crawl out of pits, I believe.
You sure they hide their woman◊

Is it just me or is the first drawing of the redhead elf kinda flubbed and she looks masculine?
That's just elves being reverse of dwarves. Men look like women anyway.
^^^Were is that from anyway? I feel like I'm missing the context
In one of Tolkien's letters he says female orcs exist but no one knows anything about them. Bolg is referred to as Azog's son after all, not sure how someone could have a son if he just crawled out of a pit and I doubt orcs would adopt. Just one more thing he didn't get the chance to flesh out.

Or, in a horrifying parallel to Dragon Age, the female orcs are the "pits".

This game looks amazing
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Indeed. Can't wait for E3 when we get more of it.
I keep hearing, "Well, he's the Bright Lord! That means he's good!"
(chuckle)
Don't be fooled. I hope it remains Evil vs. Evil. The blue is a harsh, blinding blue. My hope is that Talion is just Saruman 2.0 . When he was in Shadow of Mordor, Talion never liked any of the Uruks under his control. They were meat puppets for him. I think his becoming friendly with them (their words, not mine) means he's becoming more and more a Well-Intentioned Extremist.
You have to wonder what The Fellowship would think of Talion.
"With that power I should have power too great and terrible. And over me the Ring would gain a power still greater and more deadly....Do not tempt me! For I do not wish to become like the Dark Lord himself. Yet the way of the Ring to my heart is by pity, pity for weakness and the desire of strength to do good. Do not tempt me! I dare not take it, not even to keep it safe, unused. The wish to wield it would be too great for my strength. I shall have such need of it. Great perils lie before me." - Gandalf

Even back in Shadow of Mordor Celebrimbor wasn't portrayed as the good counterpart to Sauron.
The fact that when he first came across Talion he said "All shall fear me and rejoice" should point to that.
That and when you find all the pieces of the mural and translate it, it's not exactly an uplifting message. When they call him the Bright Lord, it is simply the same evil cake with a different coat of frosting.
I mean, if they decide to break with Tolkein and have an Anti-Ring of Power and Talion is on the side of angels, I won't be angry. I'll sigh and shake my head, but story is gameplay's bitch, and if the game is fun, I won't really care.

"I am The Bright Lord of Mordor. The silver hand that drives back the darkness, Reaching through the fog of night, To avenge those long betrayed. Arise from fields of death, And march forth from the shadow, Through the purifying flames of war, You who were once eldar shall be reforged. Beneath my hammer, The Bringer of Gifts, the Betrayer shall be un-made, I renounce the Blessed Realm. To redeem the Land of Shadow. And bind the walls of Arda, In place of the Dark Lord, You shall have light undiminished, All shall fear me and rejoice."
"All shall fear me and rejoice" is the exact opposite of "All shall love me and despair".
Odds Talion kills himself at the height of his/Cerebrimbor's power?

That'd be a good development for Talion the character; otherwise he's Talion the meatpuppet.
My interpretation of Talion getting in friendlier terms with the uruks is because he's starting to be influenced by their culture due to them being such a big part of his (un)life. This, and the fact that Sauron can undo Celebrimbor's brainwashing means that he needs to have them follow him willingly, which means embracing the uruks' mindset and culture. Add this to his dwindling amount of human allies and contacts, and Celebrimbor's constant influence, and let's see what we get.

What did you put in there? The working code is [[youtube : oGoSE_EAMDQ]] sans the spaces.
You only need the part after the "?v=" in the url, not the v= itself.
