A bit more footage. Highlights include "Enraged by Everything" and one of Talion's guys pulling a Big Damn Heroes.
It'd be totally sweet to assassinate Talion as Blade of Galadriel, or vice versa. Boss battle against a stealth, yes please!
She did kill him. However...
That point where she sees Celebrimbor. Brilliant.
Also, yeah, fantasy purists seem to assume that warfare is just lining up armies and charging at each other, with GLORIOUS COMBAT. LOTR (the book) mentions spies and traitors. So I don't know why the whole complexity element is frowned upon - hell, half of Gondor was politicians and people unwilling to fight half the time.
The big reason why I liked Shadow of Mordor was precisely because of complexity.
And saying: "Assuming Direct Control" at these orcs.
Everything that lives is designed to end.Indeed! I quite liked how they fleshed out Uruk society a bit, gave the mooks a day in the limelight, plus showed how Sauron was building a whole new world, not just a mindless army.
Yeah they were cruel and awful but I liked the alternative take. This looks like it's really building on that.
Enraged by Everything? Dear Bright Lord, that's gonna be more of a pain than Hate of Pain.
To be fair, the guy who had this trait was on YOUR side in the trailer.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Sure, he was a great catch to brand. But he's still a pain to fight.

Oooh, a good half-hour of siege gameplay.

I misspelled her name: Altariel.
So, at me E3 presentation, and Olog-hai killed Talion and went on and on about Talion in flowery, eloquent language.
His title?
" The Bore"
I wonder if there's a way to jump off of a Siege Beast and not destroy the catapult in the process.
They always say they destroy the catapult on purpose so I presume yes but then enemy orcs can return to it and continue dumping on your goons.
Okay then. I meant on your own Siege Beasts, though.
Uh I haven't seen those in use as far as I got through the footage bits.
Not having an option would be kinda dumb though so I still expect it to be present.
Yeah, they've been used in a number of other gameplay previews that show off sieges. You can choose to have them in your army when you assault the fortresses.
Yes, I got that. What I mean is that I haven't viewed any piece in which Talion personally climbs onto one of the catapults he brought with him - only hijacking the ones belonging to the forts.
One of the earlier posted game play vids shows him doing just that. Though I recall it got taken out by the enemy. I am pretty sure it was the one that first showed off the forces and preparation screen the one with the spiders.
Found it.
See this post In the vid at 24:27.

Who watches the watchmen?Haven't watched that one. Lessee...
Well they clearly blew off the catapult in order to convert the graug to mobile mode.
They actually mention the artillery having been blasted off though. Of course that doesn't stop them from still capitalizing on it.
Who watches the watchmen?
@danime91: The "purists" also forget that hierarchy == power. Ring aside, don't forget that Gandalf, Radagast, Saruman, and those blue dudes are also the same hierarchy as Sauron and the Balrogs. Same deal with the Valar - if hierarchy & power were 1:1, Melkor would've had vastly less influence in the Great Music and basically wouldn't have been able to do shit once he entered Eä.
I can sympathize with Christopher Tolkien take issue with stuff directly to do with The Hobbit, since it was literally his bedtime story, but as far as being so controlling over the rest of the universe? Yeah that's just sad.
Also, IIRC, Tolkien did write somewhere that Mordor actually does have a lot of fertile land.
