And so do happy people, melancholy people, bored people, competitive people.... We don't list examples of everything that happens in fiction. Describe a message and we'll have a trope for it, but describe a "thing" and we'll look for a message.

Are there seriously no tropes created to list off the huge amount of stoneskipping I've seen in movies? A sad person or a romantically distressed person throws a stone at the lake. IT SKIPS. Is that really so much to ask for?
