Incidentally, the opposite applies to cavalry and ranged units (and double for ranged cavalry units). They get a stat penalty for not being melee infantry.

Got Sanaki, Olwen and Lachesis

Olwen gets Dime Thunder, now called Dire Thunder. It is, as might be expected, a Brave weapon, so -5 speed. Also she gets Reposition, Warding Blow and Spur Resistance/Ward Cavalry.

Lachesis gets Physic, Solid-Earth Balm, and Spur Resistance. Her attacking staff is, sadly, Absorb.

You can check the skills of all the new heroes by going to the announcement Bulletin Board in-game and clicking the link to "new heroes". There's no real reason to post them in the thread after you've drawn one, unless you want to discuss them in general.

Edit: Here are my opinions on the new characters: Horses suck in this game, and horse-mages are even worse. Sanaki's decent (high Atk and fast enough to not get doubled at least), except for the fact that there aren't really all that many valuable targets you'd want Triangle Adept for. Maybe she'd be better if you take if off, but still not great. The new healer is a below average healer. I can't see much reason to use her over almost any other. Klein is Gordin+, he has good skills and a Brave Bow. His value depends a lot on his stats, but he's probably the best new pull.

Sanaki, being a high damage red mage with Triangle Adept, feels like she's meant to be a counter for Hector.

Unless Klein's Atk is super garbage, Death Blow 3 + Brave Bow + proc makes him the assassin Gordin only wishes he could be.

Sanaki's double Atk auras seems really redundant. I guess she could boost someone who was out of position when the phase started, but eh. I'd probably still take her if I rolled her because I don't have anything better. Triangle Adept would probably come off, though.

Brave tomes could be deadly, but the rest of their kits aren't very attractive. I guess the cavalry buffs would be cool if a full cavalry team didn't get super point-hosed by being a cavalry team.

Eldigan's got "dies first every time" painted on his forehead with that kit.

Lachesis is like a worse Azama.

Anyway, got the orbs again. Let's see how the RNG wants to screw me over this time.

Got one each of green, transparent, blue, plus two red. That's a little better than before. I'm kinda almost tempted to take the green and transparent because after doing the reds and blue, I'll be most of the way toward the 3-orb pull. Well, let's see if the first three piss me off enough to quite the summon first. 4* Selena, another 4* F!Corrin and another 4* Selena... WTF?. Meh, I guess I'll just wait until tonight for the 2 orbs and do a double pull or something.

I pulled together 20 orbs between what I already had, the new paralogue, and this week's launch bonus map.

Got one 3-star and four 4-stars. Three were characters I hadn't gotten before (Jakob, Catria, and Clarise), one was another four-star Raigh, and one was a 4-star Olivia when I currently had a 3-star. Not bad.

Confession: when I first saw the banner, I mistook Lachesis for RD!Mist. They look really similar.

My units this run was pretty good. I got 5 star Takumi, 4 star Marth and Barst, and 3 star Gwendolyn as new units, with only one repeat.

Looks like I dodged a bullet in wasted orbs by bailing when I did. 5* rate went up, so the green and transparent were very likely worthless (it's kinda funny—red and blue are full of decent 3-4* picks that could make good consolation prizes, but green and transparent are generally 5* or bust, which is a serious gambling trap).

On my jext roll, I got a four-star Roy, three-star Felicia and Tiki (repeats) and five star Marth and Azura. Damn, that was a roll.

Sanaki? Is she our first Tellius representative? Also, wen Ike?

Yep, she's the first Tellius unit. I'm rather surprised that it wasn't Ike, but eh. Ike will probably first show up whenever they do that banner generated by that one poll (which won't be right after this current one because apparently they decided to do another generic banner with Effie, Nino and some others).

Considering preemptively 4-starring F!Robin because if this week is any indication, they're gonna drop everything and only make it the current banner + Grand Hero Battle prize + a couple randoms that I'm very likely to not be lucky enough to have. And, well, frankly, F!Robin's pretty worthless as a 3*.

Drew a 5* Tharja, which I can't say I'm super thrilled about as 5* draws go, but hey, better than the old 4*.

I'd trade my 5* Chrom for a 4* Tharja.

We also got a couple Thracia 776 reps.

... It feels kinda weird seeing the Jugdrali characters without the massive hair, not gonna lie.

On the plus side, a bunch of dud rolls plus arena rewards gave me enough feathers to upgrade Sharena.

Fensalir's got a pretty rad design.

Chrom is surprisingly good. He is not a game breaker but with a proper team around him he can easily tank a first hit or one-shot a weakened target. Not as easy to use as Lucina, but he really does the job, especially against dragons.

You just have to keep him away from enemy mages.

Chrom may be competent, but he's not what I needed. I have still yet to get anything resembling a good mage. Plus, I have Marth if I need to deploy a red sword not confined by the bonus selection.

I've changed my mind on doing a two-pull tonight. It's not worth it, given how much I've already spent versus how good the characters are. I'll probably horde what I can until Nino's banner comes up and just throw everything at green and blue in an attempt to get her, Linde or a M!Robin that doesn't suck balls (I suppose Julia or 5* Merric could also be a thing).

And since the Black Knight was really high on that popularity poll, we're probably gonna get him soon too. Can't wait for me to never be able to draw him.

Pfft, Black Knight is overrated. If we are getting any Tellius armored knight, it better be Zelgius.

Some people have pointed out that in order to have a new story mode chapter, they'd need to introduce a lot of characters from the same game at once. Sanaki may be available precisely because she's not quite important enough to be introduced in a Tellius mega-pack.

I guess I find it kinda weird that Sanaki got shoved into a storyline that even acknowledges she shouldn't be there before the Tellius megapack was released. Seems a little... anticlimactic as a way to bring Tellius in.
