@Malco - no. Ever since Fjorm, you now need 4975-5000 to stay.

For reference, the maximum possible arena streak score is 750x7 = 5250.

Bold Fighter carries the same wording as Heavy Blade, so your special should be charging faster with it.

I'm not sure if there is any unit I really want on this banner.

If she was infantry, Tharja would fit pretty well on my owl team, but I don't even have one Katarina yet, and while an armored unit might benefit the most from a bunch of free stats, her mobility might really hinder the team unless I give everyone creative mobility assists.

All in all, those skills are powerful, but I don't think they really outright powercreep anything but Armor Emblem.

And I don't plan on expanding on my current Armor Emblem. Now, if it were Distant Counter instead of Close Counter, that would be an entirely different story altogether.

Ranged units inherently have an easier time gathering SP, so Tome Valor skills are not as crucial as other ones, except maybe if you want to grind an extremely weak mage like Henry or Odin.

Robin Emblem is a go.

Took them long enough to give us Musou Lissa.

Tharja's sweater must be uncomfortably heavy.

People were theorizing on Reddit that these were designed pre-powercreep, so they were all meant to be infantry (with Tharja being a healer) until they realized they needed seasonals to be unique and powerful (and before they just flat-out stopped making healers).

Tharja has QR+ and Desperate Stat is now officially replaced, like Killer weapons were. I wonder if we'll get a skill forge someday to upgrade them.

I decided to level up Soleil while she was an arena bonus unit (extra EXTRA SP and exp) and damn the girl pack a punch.

I almost feel like eating the 20k feathers to give her Life and Death. But, I must focus, and the Flyer Beta come first.

At the moment I feel poised to get Camilla the Emerald Axe + or Clair the Berkut Lance + +. I wanted to promote Michalis as well, but that would mean I can no longer nickname the team Valter's Angels, and we absolutely cannot have that, can we?

Coincidentally, admitting I hang on to Clair for some reason or another, am I better off leaving her at 4 stars with 6 or more merges or promoting her might be worth it?

4* +5 is exactly equal to 5*. 4*+10 is equal to 5*+5. So generally speaking keeping them 4* is better unless you plan to go past 5+5.

Gave Clive Ridersbane+ since I have a couple extra Mathilda and Clive has just been sitting around doing nothing. Can't hurt to have another Roy and Sigurd killer.

There will not be any QR « refinery «  if the new skills are armor only. Armors have had unique B-skills since day 1.

Good point. Wary fighter etc. I don't think it's clear that the skills are actually armor only though. Maybe QR+ will be, since QR is actually good, but the Brazen skills that are just Desperate Spd+Atk at the same time seem like reasonable replacements for underused skills.

We won't know until they're datamined Sunday.

Does datamining actually reveal that? It's not in the tooltips, usually. Like Wrath is apparently Infantry/Armor only, but it doesn't say that anywhere. You'd only know by trying to inherit it on a horse or flier.

Well, datamining breaks into the file itself, so it'd be a matter of being able to interpret the non-text data, which I'm sure the dataminers could do by crosschecking it against existing items. There's very likely several bit variables in the data files that indicate if a particular category of unit/weapon type/whatever is ineligible for inheriting the skill.

I dunno, Armor Emblem healer seems pretty useful and I'd expect them to start rolling healers out again now that staff+ is a thing.

I'm just hoping it's got armor mages. Ideally including one of the four most important heroes or the most memorable villain.
