Fire Emblem Heroes

Got a really shitty pull from my most recent summoning session. Only new unit was Arthur and everybody bar Cordelia was a 3 Star.

And I have 3 4 Star Cordelias now.

Yeah, but no other pegasus actually have high def. Subaki is unique compared to the current pegasus characters, not to the random enemies. He is a tanky pegasus, and that is cool. Of course, since classes aren't a thing, gameplay wise he is no different from a wivern knight, who do favor high def, but even then he is still one of the tankiest (he loses to Beruka, though).

Anyway, in another topic, does anyone knows how to make a good defense team, for arena? For the last 2 weaks, my default team(Lyn, Nino, Takumi and Effie) was doing pretty well, having at last one victory since early on (usualy the first day. This time, though, still no luck. I wonder if I should keep and trust or make changes. Been thinking on replacing Lyn with Ryouma. The 2 range counter seems more relevant for the AI, as they will just throw themselves into danger any way. In particular if I give him vantage.

Used up a fuckin ton of orbs to get Lucina

got another spring xander. +HP, -Atk. is this better or worse than my +Atk, -Spd Xander?

also got a +Spd, -HP Linde (yisssssss)

That's actually a pretty good plan.

I'm thinking of axing Karel from my defence team too. As fun as he is to share, he can't beat Eirika in sheer utility even when the AI is using her... and I also don't have any defence wins yet too.

This defence team I ran into though... Nino, Tharja, Azura and Ninian. Everyone has Fury. Nino and Tharja have Hone Atk, Azura and Ninian has Hone Speed.

10th Stratum all-infantry mission cleared without too many hitches, except for some computer-generated lunacy like when the map decided to throw a party with two Hectors at me.

Now begins the project of trying to get my armor units leveled up enough to try for that last mission in the... two days remaining?

Hoo boy.

Probably worse. As a rule -SPD is bad, but Xander's not exactly the speediest. OTOH getting doubled is a thing nobody wants.

Gave Nino Desperation. Should be useful if I ever go full Nino Kuni: Wrath of the Green Witch with her.

Hm, I have lots of Desperations, so maybe I could also give Tharja Desperation as well. Would synergize well with Vengeance.

My worst summon ever in terms of new units.

I have a +Spd -HP Spring Chrom which seems kinda beastly, actually. Might inherit some better skills to him.

A bit belated, but on the subject of arena defense teams, mine took a sharp jump in effectiveness when I replaced Effie with Reinhardt (alongside Lucina, Minerva, and Klein).

Well I haven't won on defence yet, but I hoped that going back to Eirika, Ephraim, Nino, Young Tiki should net me a win eventually...

Today, my phone messed up and caused me extra deaths in the arena. For some reason sometimes merely touching the screen registers a double tap which ends the turn of a character. Anyone experience this and knows a fix short of restarting my phone? <3

A 5* Reinhardt? Because the difference between a 5* and a 4* Reinhardt is huge. His brave tome is crazy good.

Yeah, he's 5* and definitely a beast. Although thinking back, I don't recall if it was Reinhardt I swapped in for Effie or if he was already on the team and it was Klein that I subbed in.

I'm sorry, I haven't run into this issue before. I hope you find a solution.

Got a 5 Star Spring Camilla. I suspect she's +Attack -Res since her Attack is 20 (after her weapon) and her Res is 3.

I'm curious about something, if a character inherits a skill will they need another character with the upgraded version to unlock that skill?

My second roll for the Spring Festival banner and got a Spring Camilla. Beautiful, so damn lucky. I also got a 4* Merric so it isn't bad.

EDIT: My Camilla has +Atk/-HP and Merric has +Res/-HP. Camilla would be alright with Atk, meh on Merric.

Not sure I'm interpreting your question correctly, but based on my experiences with skill inheritance, the unit only learns the individual skills selected, not the skill tree. For example, if I use my 3* Frederick to teach another unit New Moon, that won't unlock Luna for that unit even after they have spent the SP to learn and equip New Moon. I would need another unit that has or can learn Luna to pass on that skill.

Is that what you were asking?

Yeah, that's what I was asking thanks. I think I get it. I probably could have worded the question better.

I know Nino is a good unit overall, but is she worth raising from 3 stars to 5? I already have 5-star Julia at level 40. She's probably my best unit.
