It was the age of men. Wolf The Quarrelsome, Brian Boru, Finn Mc Cool, Lir. Warriors. But something odd has happened. Men who have died. Those in Kilts and those in trousers, Catholic and pagan. Moors, Scots, Irish, British. Men and Women. They are picked by the Crone of War or they ride the black coach. But they do not enter the sweet release of the Tech Duinn.

They arrive in the land of gods-Annwn. However, something is wrong. It is winter in the otherworld and a queer mist spills across the land. There is a sickness to the air. A coward would despair. But ye brave warriors, witches, druids and soldiers? Forge on. Find what laid siege to the kingdom of Gods and why you are banished from death.

Welcome to ''Ruagadh Bho Bas"! A Dark Fantasy RP set in the underworld of Celtic Mythology that also takes inspiration from Dark Souls, Kingdom Death and a little bit of Skyrim. Fight monsters, explore the lands of the dead. From the highlands to the mountains to the Bog. Now tell me, men of iron, women of steel-Shall we see what evil lurks in such a land?

• Appearance: Keep it realistic. I'm fine with some people being incredibly ripped or wearing inaccurate armor. Just nothing that's too fantastic.
• Equipment: Aside from your armor, what do you use to fight off attackers? And I promise you will be attacked in this dark place. The highest form of technology I've seen these parts are crossbows.

Pre-death? Time is convoluted.

However, we're sticking to medieval times. So axes, arrows, spears, shields-that sort of thing.

• Name: Septenius Roman
• Race: Roman-Celt
• Occuptation: Roman Legion Commander
• Appearance: Orange-red hair and green eyes, along with a chestplate of Roman bronze and plenty of muscles. His skirt, however, more resembles a leather kilt. His armor is tattered, and his body is scarred from many battles. His skin is somewhat tanned, despite his Celtic blood, and in the dead lands he has taken to wearing an amulet of Celtic knotwork made of iron.
• Equipment: Roman weilds a Gladius, but since he arrived he also carries a claymore strapped to his back.
• Personality: Though proper and rigid as any respectable Roman commander, he carries a secret. Though he is a good Roman in most other ways, he never worshipped their pantheon, instead keeping up the Celtic ways of his ancestry. He tends to think before charging into anything, a tactic which earned his promotions inn the first place, and he generally insists on being prepared for all most likely scenarios. To this end, he greatly regrets the loss of his shield.
• History: Long ago, when the first Celts were adopted into the Roman Empire, one family shedded their Celtic name to fit in, vowing to return to it one day. Fast forward a generation, and the seventh son of the family, the eldest survivor, joined the Roman Legion. He worked his way up the ranks until he became a Centurion, only to be summarily executed for his Pagan beliefs. As his vision faded to black while he lay bleeding on the road, he swore he could see a Dullahan... Finally, he woke up in this land, a place he was internally overjoyed to discover to be true.
