Manga reader here. To avoid spoiling people because I'm very good at that, I'm waiting for the anime to conclude to jump into the discussion.
Before then, can we agree that the real best girl is the guilty conscience of Hanabi, represented by a younger her?

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Pretty much.
Watch SymphogearWatching Moca lie to herself that she was fine with whatever she could get from Mugi was actively painful.
Episode 8: Ugh. Mugi.
Ugh, indeed. This episode was such a kick in the dick, hasn't felt that way in a while; any other series, this would have been a nice cap off to a girl's unrequited feelings.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.If Hanabi is willing to fight for her friendship with Ecchan, she can smack some sense into Mugi.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Ecchan's cousin is an asshole.
Also, Mugi is being cucked somehow. He's being mentally cucked by Akane-sensei.
Not sure how when he managed to push hanabi and ecchan to let go of their horribly abusive relationship with each other.
Watch SymphogearHe Was honestly the best thing for both of them.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. While Ecchan's cousin not settling for no was annoying, he honestly goes about his crush on her far better than Ecchan did with her's. To the very least, he's not emotionally guilting her into sleeping with him.
I really don't know how you can hate his pushiness, but not acknowledge Ecchan's lol. He at least never gave Ecchan terrible advice on how emotionally manipulate people and was genuinely happy she had someone she loved.
Now granted, I don't hate Ecchan, I see her for what she is; an emotionally confused teenager. But that doesn't change her part in all this.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.@Marquis Yeah, talk about wrong predictions. This is what I get for believing in the good of people.
The Ecchan thing ended better than expected, too. Small victories and all that.
Ugh. Mugi.
Atsuya pushed Sanae into making a decision about Hanabi in the hopes that it would get resolved one way or the other and he could possibly nab her for himself. The fact that it had a good outcome doesn't change the fact that it was a fundamentally selfish decision.
Also disappointed no one here has mentioned Ecchan's baller Scum's Wish baseball cap.
Yup, that cap was neat, I noticed it in a previous episode.
I don't believe selfishness is inherently a bad thing.
You mean like how every other character in the series makes selfish decisions for their own ends :V
Even then,it seemed like he was more motivated because he knew their relationship wasn't natural or healthy and pushed them to do something about it.
And yes, that cap was hell of product placement.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Product Placement done right, of course.
Watch SymphogearEpisode 10: In which scum encounters her weakness. People who don't just want to get into your pants.
It figures that the plainest, most boring guy in the entire show is the most well-adjusted person among these broken individuals.
Kinda puts a new perspective on those generic romcom leads.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Welp, the final chapter leaked.
nobody gets together [sad

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Episode 11: I'm sure that was supposed to be heartwarming but SCREW THAT. Kanai is an idiot.
Next episode is going to piss you right the hell then lol.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I liked the ending. none of the kids getting together so they can move on with their lives seems to fit the best. Akane giving Hanabi one fucking flower seems like a half-assed apology though.
Also, Ecchan looks great with short hair.

It is nice that none of the kids tried to pursue what seemed like self-destructive relationships.
Oh man, the cuts in this episode. I particularly liked the one where there are two panels, positioned so that Hanabi and Mugi are looking at each other, then it transitions to the next scene where the whole scene is revealed and the two of them are shown to be talking to someone else.
"Next time, make sure he doesn't get stolen." I might not like Akane but she is an excellent troll.
New episode out.
I was half afraid Hanabi was going to let the guy have his way with her but she still has standards. Mugi also stopped himself from having his way with Moca even when she was asking for it. So that's nice. For now.
