I've tried to look for a pic for this trope before, and it certainly wasn't easy. Even an over-the-top heroic-looking HERO will probably illustrate a subtrope like Captain Patriotic or The Cape in the process. Or even Propaganda Hero.

While I think it would be better if you kept Luke as the image, it would probably be better if you simply picked a different picture; maybe with his lightsaber, or something. Luke Skywalker is the Ideal Hero. That's who he is. That's who he was designed to be. They use his face in actual text books, for crying out loud.
He should at least look heroic. Saving people, maybe.

I don't see anything heroic about that picture; he looks more like a politician spouting rhetoric.

Yeah, the only difference I see is a noticeably-older Luke and a bunch of people listening to him talk about something. I'm not seeing how those changes make Ideal Hero more obvious.
