>Wake up... somewhere.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.~ZeroL: Are you still playing? I only ask because whether or not you are might influence some of the next few posts
@Whizzerd: You head down to Deck 1 using the stairs by the front, which leads directly into the storage. Most of the light is coming in through the windows. There are a few scattered boxes and tools down here, though a clear path leads to a door on the other end of the room. You assume that’s the engine room. To the side of this door there seems to be some kind of black substance splattered on the wall and a small bit of the floor. Cathari is currently looking through some of these boxes.
@Cathari: You check one of the boxes nearby. Some of them are labeled “food” and “supplies” but strangely, most of those boxes are already empty, so you open one of the non-labelled boxes. It’s taped shut, but the tape is no match for your knife. The box contains a battery-powered charger, a large flashlight, a bucket, and a lot of sand. There are 2 opened and 6 unopened label-less boxes.
The stuff on the wall kind of does look like oil. Still, you should probably be careful around it. You make your way over to the opened box near the spill, keeping an eye out for any movement. You can hear somebody coming downstairs. Oh, wait, it’s just one of the other passengers. When you go back to the box by the spill, you think you see a large shovel in the box, but it’s sitting on top of something else.
@Caliburn: You follow Random into the Lobby. He seems to be talking to the receptionist. There is a rack full of pamphlets, including a minimap of the ship
@Bacon: You check the wallet. It contains the following:
- A license for passenger ships
- Roughly 250 dollars
- A picture of what seems to be the navigator and who you guess is his wife.
You head out off the ship with Cyber once you are done talking to the woman. You see a smaller boat onshore and Afterwards talking with some kid near the forest.
@Cyber: You get First Mate B. Skye’s number. “Alright then, good luck you two! I’ll try to join with you guys as soon as I can!”
And with that you guys head off onto the shore.
You see a small boat has pulled up on the land and Afterwards talking to some kid near the woods.
@Afterwards: You look towards the ship, contemplating. You know you’re not exactly in Hawaii, that’s for sure. Oh hey, two guys are coming off the boat.
@Random: The receptionist lady ignores you as she finishes up her call. Once she is done’ she responds.
“Sir, you asked for an extra room card last night. How do you keep losing these?”
She unlocks a drawer and pulls out another key for you. It worked.
You also take a mapnote from the brochure rack, because this ship is a maze.
@Link: You grab your stuff and head out of your room and up to the closest outer deck, the Arrow deck on Deck 4. From here you can see most of the island. Much of the island ahead of the ship is forest with a few spotty areas, with a rocky hill in the distance. You think you see the top of a building somewhere in the forest, but you aren’t sure. Maybe you could see it better from Deck 8?
Oh yea also there’s a dead naked guy on the deck.
@Radar: You wake up in a bed in a room you don’t recognize. The room looks kinda like a doctor’s office or something. Your head’s a bit sore in the back but other than that you seem to be fine. You are pretty sure you left your 5 items back in your room, however.

>Ponder the pile of spare room keys in your closet.
>SAVE DA DOGGO.
>Then to the gaming room.
>Check door.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot."So, you off scavenging too? That stuff on the wall's probably ship fuel, though I don't know what would've caused it to start splattering all over the place."
> Take the bucket from the box and dump the sand out. Place the bucket back into the box.
> Walk over near the box with the shovel in it and attempt to see what's lying underneath it.
> If the object doesn't look dangerous, remove the shovel from the box. If something begins crawling out from within the box as I pull out the shovel, attempt to whack it with the shovel.
> If the object within the box isn't noteworthy, or if nothing interesting falls out of the bucket besides the sand, take the previously opened box (with the contents inside it except for the sand) and shovel and ascend to topside/Deck 4.
@Cathari: I assume you want to dump out the sand that's in the box with the bucket?
>"Eh, sort of. I'm trying to save a puppy, so I'm looking for an axe."
>Look closer at what tools are scattered around.
>Walk over to the substance that Cathy pointed out. As I have no self-preservation instincts I attempt to run a finger through it, then smell it. I'd lick it too if I weren't sure it'd taste gross.
>"I'm more curious as to why there was so much sand in that box you've got there."

they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobI kinda assumed the sand was in the bucket, so in that case I'd rather just dump out the sand from the box itself, after taking the other stuff out.
"Didn't see anything like that, though it'd be hella useful if we found one.
"No clue. Just sorta found it like this."

>Suddenly remember that weird urge I had to check on my room.
"Right. Well, since you're not injured or anything, you'll be alright on your own, right?"
"Oh wait, looks like that won't be necessary."
>Be approached by Bacon.
"You know what, I'd love to, but I need to take care of something real quick. Here, maybe this kid can join you."
>Run over to my boat and pick up my bag before heading into the ship.
>Finally check on Cathy's text.
yo thats hella weird. stay safe down there
>Check my contacts for any new additions and find that Lonk has been added. Make a group chat with him and Cathy.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas Edison@Bacon: "I'm Tom."
also BUNP
@Bacon: You approach Afterwards, but all he does is drop this kid off with you as he decides to go check something. At least he seems like the type who would blindly follow you for teh adventures.
You can head into the woods or go further across the beach. You could also likely use the smaller boat to paddle around the island, but there probably wouldn’t be much you couldn’t find better on land right now.
@Random: You head back to the room where the doggo was at and you unlock the door. On the other side, you are greeted by a friendly golden labrador. You can see another person in the bed, though you cannot tell whether or not they are dead. But hey, you got the doggo!
After getting the doggo to follow you, you head up to the game room on the fourth floor, but the door seems to be locked and there doesn’t seem to be anyone inside.
You see one of the staff members pass you as she heads downstairs.
@Radar: You open the door. It leads to a narrow hallway, but you can see a little office at the end of it, with somebody looking for something behind the counter. You think you’re in the Nurse’s office.
@Cathari:You use the bucket to dig out most of the sand. Unfortunately there isn’t anything else interesting buried in the sand. The box is just a little too big to stuff into your inventory right now, but you still take all of the things inside of it.
Underneath the shovel in the other box you’re pretty sure you see a body, but it’s not holding onto the shovel or anything. It’s probably safe to take the shovel.
@Whizzerd: You don’t see an axe or anything out in the open, but there might be something like that in the boxes.
You then walk over to the oily like substance, and sure enough, it smells like oil. You think you see a much smaller box in the spill covered with the oil.
@Afterwards:You grab your bag from the smaller boat and climb onto the big boat. You notice a body out on the front deck, and you see Link pass you away from it. Your room is on the 2nd deck
@Link:You don’t even know what that body is doing there, but you decide to just leave the Arrow Deck for now. You take the elevator up to Deck 8, where you’ll likely get a better view.
The pool seems to have some weird black substance inside of it. You can see the Janitor inspecting a smaller puddle of the same substance on the side of the pool.
There’s also the Overlook, which is probably what you came up here for.

Just made a server on discord.Come join me.>Shoot a text to the group chat, not realizing that I just passed Link on my way in
eh, i guess. woulda been more fun if i'd known you guys were here tho
>Stop when I see the body.
Yeesh. That must be the captain. Why is he naked???
>Step carefully around the body, then bolt inside towards the second deck.

>DOGGO, WE ARE NOW IN SEVERE CRISIS.
"Heh, what do you know?"
> Take the shovel, if I haven't already done so.
"So, dead person."
> Briefly ascertain whether or not the person/body is actually dead, and determine what injuries, if any, are on the body without touching it.
"I don't think I'm gonna find anything else here, well, not without going through that. I'll be looking around elsewhere, probably on deck 4 or the captain's office."
> Ascend back up. While doing so, determine whether or not my flashlight is functional, or if I need to get batteries beforehand.
> If my newly acquired flashlight is functional, head back to Sunrise Hall, go into the kitchen, and look inside, using the flashlight this time.
> Otherwise, head up to deck 7 and try to see if I can access the captain's room. If I get in, look around inside.
