• Name: Dergo Glas.
• Gender: Male
• Age: 19.
• Species: Human
• Weapon: Balor. It's a giant axe which can transform into a shotgun. It's made for close range combat, but in axe mode, it requires two hands to wield. It is a dark red and Irish green in color, with the two colors intertwining with each other.
• Semblance: Unyielding. His semblance allows him to be empowered by his determination. It increases his speed, strength and endurance in accordance with the levels of determination he has. He is a very determined young man, and his ability to never waver is incredible to behold. It's a good thing in relation to his semblance. However, he is very reliant on it in combat.
• Appearance: His hair is a dark black colour, and he has pale skin and bright grey eyes. His clothing is rather Celtic in appearance, and he wears a mixture of red and green clothing. His clothes often are used to contrast his each other, with one side being green, the other red. He has a lean frame, but is well muscled.
• Personality: Dergo Glas is an idealist who knows what kind of world he lives in. He knows how cruel and unforgiving it is. Yet, rather than he falter or lose hope, he marches on, determined to make the world a better place. He follows a code, a creed which he lives by. Never kill another human being, always stand up for the weak against those who would abuse their strength, and never back down in the face of adversity. For he believes as long as one person is willing to fight for what's right, the forces of good shall always prevail in the end. When it comes to other people, his opinion of them is based on how they behave. However, he relies heavily on his semblance in battle, and this can be a disadvantage. He can be very insecure about his beliefs.
• History: He did attend Beacon Academy, and was part of team DIMD. His team was exceptional, but he didn't get along well with the leader. Both were strong willed men who had different views of the world. His idealistic beliefs grew around this time, growing and developing as he progressed. Eventually, once he graduated, he planned to make his mark throughout the world by ensuring that as many villages and towns as possible are protected from the creatures of Grimm.

Heyah! I thought I'd give it a shot.

• Name: Nanami Murasakino
• Gender: Female
• Age: 19
• Species: Human
• Weapon:
  • Konayuki: A powerful, extremely long nodachi, Konayuki is an heirloom of the noble Murasakino family, passed down from generation to generation. While the firstborn of each generation becomes the new family head, the secondborn traditionally trains to become a Hunter, and receives the sword. It has a channel down the length of it which can be filled with dust, allowing the user to swing it and create elemental sword beams, for long range attacks.
  • Throwing Knives: Much less notable, but no less important, are her two throwing knives. She uses these in conjunction with her Semblance for tactical attacks.
• Semblance:
  • Sevenfold: Using aura, Nanami can make seven copies of a single object. She can only copy one object at a time, and has to make seven of them. These copies are relatively fragile, and explode on serious usage - i.e., being thrown. However, she can also use dust in conjunction with her Semblance, allowing her to give elemental flavors to her copied objects, for when they burst - e.g., lightning, frost, fire, etc.
• Appearance: Secondborn of the Noble House◊.
• Personality: Nanami can be a bit stuck up sometimes, when it comes to things she thinks may be beneath her. However, just what's acceptable and what's beneath her is anyone's guess. Otherwise, she's surprisingly friendly and open. She has a strong sense of honor, but won't put it before reason, and is extremely loyal to her friends and team mates.
• History:
  • As the secondborn child of the noble Murasakino family of Mistral, Nanami was destined to become a Hunter. Inhereting Konayuki, she attended Sanctum Academy. Seeing her excellence, her teachers encouraged her to apply for Beacon, the greatest of the four Hunter schools. Getting in, she moved to Beacon to continue her studies. There, she was a part of team MOON, as the N.
  • On the night Beacon fell, Nanami was actually down at the festival market grounds, and did her best to defend the civilians there and buy them time to fall back to the city. Now, she's looking for answers, as well as the rest of her team.

Just came up with another character.

• Name: Psyche Phinehas
• Gender: Female
• Age: 17
• Species: Human
• Weapon: WillPower
  • A simple pair of 12-inch knives whose hilts can be equipped with different kinds of Dust. The Dust is channeled through the blades. They also have retractible wires attached to Psyche's gloves that she uses to recover them (or garrote Grimm with) whenever she throws them.
• Semblance: Soul Siphon
  • Psyche has the unusual ability to drain others' Aura—and replicate their Semblances by doing so. She's also capable of sharing her Aura with others in case they need extra protection. She uses this ability with discretion, since it'd be very bad for her if any shady figures found out about it.
• Appearance: Psyche stands at 5'3", with long (ab-length) dark brown hair. She has somewhat tan skin and hazel eyes. She usually wears a plain violet t-shirt and jeans. She also has a gray pair of gloves with metal compartments across her forearms, in which she stores her knives.
• Personality: Despite how well she deals with social interaction, Psyche is a recluse. However, she is genuinely amiable to people who go out of their way to befriend her. She does whatever she can to avoid arguing with others—unless it's something they (or others) need to know they're wrong about. She doesn't trust anyone, and doesn't take kindly to betrayal. She also has trouble telling when people are being sincere. She's afflicted by paranoia, and lacks confidence in her own strength—but not conviction. In other words, she's the epitome of a determined defeatist.
• History: Psyche was born and raised in Vale. She doesn't remember what her life was like; she suffered severe retrograde amnesia the night Beacon fell—the result of a cranial injury inflicted by a White Fang member. She was protected from any further harm by her teammates. She woke up in the infirmary about a day later. Since then, she and her teammates went their separate ways. She still talks to them via Scroll sometimes.

I've got a few ideas, so here's one.

• Dog Faunus
• Sunny wields a quartet of weapons, two pistols and two sabers. The fire and ice pistol are Heavenly Justice and Godly Retribution respectively, while the wind and lightning sabers Divine Wind and Holy Smiting respectively. These are combi-weapons, capable of being paired and combining to form an entirely new weapon.`*
  • Fire Gun + Lighting Sword: Bolts From The Heavens A long range sniper rifle that combines fire and lighting to do some funny things with magnetism and hurl an honest-to-gods solid metal slug.
  • Fire Gun + Ice Gun: Heaven's Vengeance An extremely close range, wide spread blaster designed for seige and anti-armor purposes. Subjecting the the target to rapid flash-freezing/frying alteration, the design seeks to annihilate anything only directly in front of it.
  • Fire Gun + Wind Sword: Divine Judgement The fire and wind cores switch, with the gun portion produce a swirling vortex and the attached bayonet extension that remains of the sword underslung beneath produce flames. The result is a spewing vortex of fire, creating a flamethrower affect.
  • Lightning Sword + Ice Gun: Thunderous Cry Taking the form of a double-barreled shotgun, ice crystals are hurled out of the barrels and smacked with a bolt of electricity, followed by a clap of thunder. The resulting and rapidly expanding cloud of shrapnel works to shred everything at about close to mid range.
  • Lightning Sword + Wind Sword: Pure Hatred Simply put, a bigger sword, one that whirls and whines with howling wind and growling thunder, giving a sound not unlike a revving chainsaw, until it hits a solid target and begins to scream and rip and tear.
  • Ice Gun + Wind Sword: Tears Of Heaven A miniature tornado is sustained in the underslung barrel of this weapon, one made of violently swirling ice shards. This machine gun hurdles these shard in a hail of rapid fire.
• `* The process of combination and separation can be slow, if you think that's fair for having such a wide arsenal. How slow, too, is up-to-discussion, ranging to lagging just a little behind her comrade's transformation to requiring a pre-battle selection of her load-out that'd as manual disassembles and reassembles her weapons in a manner that would be impractical in the middle of a fight.
  • This ignores her other weakness, of how spread thin she is in any sort of specialization. She hasn't had time to master any particular combination of her weapons, not in the same way her peer been able to master their own. She is a Master of None.
• Inspiration Surrounding herself in a golden glow, all those whom her light touches and she deem an ally feels an up swelling of positive emotions. She can control the exact tilt of this positivity, from calm and collective, courage and confidence, joy and jubilation.
• Mid-height, middling curves, brown skin, blond hair, blue eyes. Her hair, naturally curly, is worked into rows of dreadlocks ending in a ponytail. She wears a severe outfit of a long black trench coat, with matching pants and boats, a red vest with gold buttons and gold-yellow ruffles near her neck with a matching sash across his waist. She also wears a peaked officer's cap, black with red emblem on the front decorated with a golden stylized sun.
• She is a military girl, while also deeply spiritual, combining mental, physical and spiritual discipline to create one very tightly wound package, at least when she wants to be. In her own team, she was a follower, not a leader, obeying the orders of her team leader and filling whatever role was needed for her on the battlefield. All the while, she'd call out encouragement and always be rallying morale. She cares and believes deeply in the duties of a hunter, some sort of unworded code of conduct and mission statement she must endlessly follow. Off the field, she sought to serve as a chaplain and shrink to her team mates, taking care of their mental and "spiritual" needs. She'd offer words of encouragement and pep talks, shamelessly aided by her semblance to remind them that happiness and confidence is possible. To the enemies of man, to the enemies of her people, she offers only her righteous fury, horror and death.
• Sunny doubtlessly plays the part of an Atlas girl, which is exactly where she is from. Why she left the icy north to travel to Vale are reasons of her own. Faunus discrimination, some desire to see the world or spread her particular brand of spiritual discipline far and wide, who knows? Before she made it to Vale, and Beacon, she traveled the world and studied a number of other religions until she formed her own beliefs. She fought hard during Beacon Fall, shepherding fleeing civilians while bolstering any and all defenders with her semblance, The night was filled with shouts of "Fight on, you dogs!"

How is mine working out?

Odd name, but great character.

Dergo Glas is Irish for Red and Green, respectively.

...If I can say something...I feel like point that Dergo's semblance is basically one of the halves of Croire's without the drawback of having to be pummeled.

...and considering his 'determination never wavers' and fuels his semblance, it's basically a super mode that might as well be on all the time or called on whenever he wants, which...is a little overpowered.

Yeah; it'd be better if it had an explanation (and was conditional; for example, if it was fueled by desperation, and grew stronger the more dire the circumstances—like if it was life-threatening, and the chances of survival grew worse and worse).

Think of it as him being too stubborn for his own good. See, his semblance is based off determination, but that determination to never back down would not be a good thing, like if he goes up against someone stronger than himself.

But you said he'll never back down, so essentially? This super form will basically make him s tier since it is based off his determination. That's a free super mode right there.

Uh, I'm a bit late to the party, but isn't emotional control a bit close to mind control? (I'm referring to Sunny's Semblance, if it wasn't clear.)

Not really. Just because he won't back down does not mean he is automatically stronger than everyone else.

I can give it a time limit and stuff for it to work.

To be honest, I was expecting everyone else to let me know when they wanted the RP to progress.

Retconned Semblance:

• Solace: Sunny flares with a golden fire and those whom the light touches receive an invitation. Should they choose to accept it, and she accepts them, they will be filled with that golden flame in their mind, heart and spirit, banishing negative emotions and filling them with positive ones. The targets will be worldlessly informed of what the invitation entails by vague premonition and Sunny will know who is requesting to accept it.

• Yami Oni
• Male
• 18
• Faunus (Boar)
• Dark Storm A collar or necklace of tightly wound black spheres around his neck, containing solutions of liquid suspended dust. At the push of a button, the solution is injected into him, causing his transformation from scrawny beanpole to hulking brute. As long as the solution lasts, he is a monster of strength, speed and toughness. Not quite up to anyone with, say, a dedicated semblance, but still pretty scary.
  • Dark Thunder An oversized tetsubo of black iron. So big and heavy, he carries it on his back when untransformed and his hunched over by the weight. When transformed, it is a stud-covered instrument of blunt brutality.
  • Dark Lightning A large sling, but just a simple sling. The ammunition he carries are fist-sized lead bullets that he can utilize best when he's transformed.
  • Dark Typhoon A vial full of rare reagents and finely tuned dust. This is Yami's steroids on steroids on steroids, everything Dark Storm grants but more. Currently unavailable, as he used the last sample during the Fall Of Beacon, and currently lacks the time, resources or tools to carefully make a new one.
• Metabolism His semblance grants him the increased ability to handle foreign bodies in his system, such as diseases, poisons and, say, a bunch of liquid dust he just injected into himself. It's in part this semblance that lets him handle the enormous loads simply dumped into him and properly utilize it without gratuitous side-effect, so the usage of Dark Storm burns through is aura as much as it does his dust supply.
• In his normale state, he is a hunched over pale and skinny youth with straight black hair about past shoulder length and yellow eyes. If he stood up straight, he'd be very tall. Prominent tusks jut from his upper lips. He normally goes topless, just wearing a zebra striped kilt.
  • Though it doesn't look it, his skeletal structure doesn't change a lot when he transforms. His hair gets static-y, standing up in spike and his whole body bulks up. Distended and multicolored veins stand out randomly over his body.
• Yami is a sarcastic guy with a dry and sometimes dark sense of humor. He handles misfortune with a shrug and a chuckle and gives an air that he doesn't take things seriously. In reality, he takes what he will seriously, but he'll try not to let anyone know about it. He likes to read bad trashy romance novels for the laughs, play puzzle games even if he isn't good at them and developed an interest in alchemy out of necessity.
  • His usual disposition seems to be slow and languid. When transformed, he is obviously a great deal more active. Especially when transformed, he relishes the rush and thrill of battle. He is boisterous and bruising, whooping and yelling. Untransformed, he can be obervational, objective, but full of burning dust he becomes emotional and irrational. He both does and does not enjoy the sensation, having a dubious position on it all.
• Yami came from the kingdom of Mistral, but not the main city, rather one of its outlying villages. That village is gone now, raided by bandits and ravaged by the Grimm. Yami survived only by swallowing a vial full of dust of pure desperation and actually managing to survive that. Even the bandits didn't come to a good end because of it, and Yami was left with what was left of it all after a hunter managed to intervene.
  • At the hunter's recommendation, he sold everything that was left of his village and used the money to high-tail it out of there to Vale. He went to a combat school, improving the dust injection system in the process, went to Beacon, enjoyed life there for a bit and then- well, then everything tits up, didn't it?
