-Giggling, the cruiser deploys her shield-like equipment. They prove to be sturdy enough to protect against the jets' cannon fire, but even the ones that do hit her flesh only leave shallow burn marks-
-In return, the flak batteries mounted on her lower rigging fires a storm of explosive shells at the incoming fighters. A combination of anti-air radar and sophisticated fire control ensures that the guns stay pointed on Fluttershy's fast movers-
-The shark-like... thing on her back shuffles around, trying to gauge an accurate firing solution to hit Fluttershy. Eventually, it fires a salvo of armor-piercers from the smaller secondary batteries-

Fluttershy notices the armor-piercers, and, knowing that she can't fly very fast, brings her wings in, letting gravity take her to the water. Before she can drown her base, she brings her wings out once more, and saves her troops, merely getting her hooves wet.
About how large are the rockets?

-Roon is slightly annoyed that her foe is airborne, meaning she won't be able to use torpedoes. At least, for now...-
-The cruiser now sails full-speed, chasing after Fluttershy. Her shark-thing fires more explosive shells from her secondary batteries, with one key difference: they are capped with proximity fuses. The shells will explode even if they're slightly off the mark, showering their surroundings with red-hot shrapnel-

Fluttershy takes off as fast as she can. A soldier, unprepared, falls off Fluttershy, into the sea.
The jets, meanwhile, did their best to evade the explosive jets, but simply couldn't. By the time four had been blown up, the last jet's pilot jettisoned himself, and allowed his jet to be destroyed.
Parachuting down, the soldier attempts to grab onto Roon's nose.
Fluttershy meanwhile, attempts again and again to dodge the shrapnel. She eyes up the coast. "Alright, troops, get inside!"
All the remaining troops get into the interior of Fluttershy's base. One jet, piloted by one rogue soldier, flies off from Fluttershy, and attempts to distract Roon by flying straight at her.

-Noticing the ejecting pilot, Roon grabs him with her hands...-
Oh my. Are you lost, little one?
-...And straight-up crush the poor sod-
-While Roon is distracted by the tiny mangled corpse in her hand, her shark-thingy remains alert. It notices the jet nobly sacrificing itself for his comrades, and attempt to swallow the plane whole-

Apologies. Fell asleep.
The man in the jet sees his fate before him, and ejects, only to eject just a little too late, and bang on the roof of its mouth, where he proceeds to be eaten.
The jet proceeds down the ahark’s mouth where it crashes.
Fluttershy, meanwhile, has flown directly up into the sky, about forty feet, and has stalled for a second.

STOP RUNNING AWAY!
-With the jets out of the way, Roon focuses her entire anti-air suite at Fluttershy. Her numerous flak batteries puts forth more than a thousand rounds every second, easily blanketing the sky with lead and shrapnel-
-At the same time, the aircraft catapult on her rigging launches a floatplane into the air-

Fluttershy sees this entire volley of ammunition, and performs her last ditch effort, dipping directly down, she flies straight toward the ocean, before turning up slightly, rocketing straight into the water, using the speed from the fall to propel her closer to the coast.

-Fluttershy's trajectory makes her extremely predictable to Roon's fire control system. Not even a second after she enters level flight, all 9 of Roon's main guns fire a tightly-dispersed salvo of explosive shells-
-Roon's catapult fighter, a Bf 109
converted for naval usage, trails behind and above the pegasus-

Fluttershy attempts to navigate the Shells. One throws her off, sending her flipping into the water. She gets up, finding the jets strewn across the water.
“Miss! Wait! I have little ones here!”

Oh. Is that so? Maybe this will help a bit.
-Roon heeds her words by launching a school of metal fishes — acoustic torpedoes. Four of the eight torpedoes are launched slightly off to the side, but they quickly pick up Fluttershy's acoustic signatures and home in on her. The rest have their homing systems disabled and head straight to the strewn jets. Consider that these torpedoes have magnetic proximity fuses, and each will explode with the force of half ton of TNT...-

Fluttershy’s eyes bug out, as she quickly tries to fly up, barely making it out of the way. She mumbles something under her breath, before shooting back up in the sky. Once she is high up, she starts flying in circles. Seemingly doing nothing.

-The non-homing torpedoes explode with great force, sending tall plumes of water into the sky. The homing ones, on the other hand, lost their lock and continue swimming straight until they run out of fuel-
Ahahaha! Burn! BURN!
-The Bf 109 from before dives on Fluttershy, trying to pump autocannon rounds into her wings. Being a WWII-era plane, its guns are considerably less effective than the ones in Fluttershy's jets-
-Complicating matters are Roon's flak batteries, pumping out even more rounds to swat the pegasus out of the sky. They do wait until the Bf 109 made its pass, at least, so that the guns have a clearer shot without having to worry about friendly fire-

Fluttershy is harmed by the plane’s ammo, but is able to survive, and swats the plane with her wing. Seeing the flak battery, she continues to fly in circles, not leaving the area she’s in.

-Fluttershy's swat rips apart the wings and cause catastrophic damage to the fuselage. The plane plummets into the sea, impacting the water surface with a great (for its size, anyway) splash-
This is getting boring...
-Roon halts her flak fire, and instead crosses her arms and pouts-
Come on! Strike back and hit me! I killed your pilots! I tried to murder you! Don't that make your blood boil? Or are you too weak to fight back?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

The two soldiers growl, going to their ammo supply, they find a box of grenades. They bring it back up to the surface, and mass-pull the pins out, gently tossing it off of Fluttershy, attempting to yet again harm her.

-Roon simply weathers the grenades. Even her weakest structures are armored against shrapnel, so a bundle of grenades are nothing more than a minor annoyance-

The two soldiers cuss, and scour the armaments yet again. Coming across two guns, they simply start firing at Roon.
Off in the distance, white parachutes start to pop up. The soldiers had jumped from the base, and were now attempting to descend toward the coast. By the look of it, only Fluttershy and the two soldiers remained at the base.

Guys, you might want to move in.
Five soldiers, scouts, hopped into five jets. The jets fired off, and flanked on different sides, as Fluttershy flew off.
One approached her front, two approached her right, two approached her left. In an attempt to gage her strength, the small jets try to fire off ammunition at the softer-fleshy parts of the girl.
