Hmm. I think a rename might help somewhat. "Subscribing" is generally used just for feeds and newsletters. Renaming this to Administrivia/SocialMedia would make it more general.
As for content, links to the facebook, twitter, subreddit, and any other kind of social media would help. Also, some general expectations of what followers/twats/subscribers may receive from each channel would clarify why we're linking to these pages.
