Which sucks. Heritage to the Future was incredible: probably the best licensed fighter out there.
I do hope we get some news before march.
Mileena MadnessEh, I prefer CC 2's Jojo games. Heritage for the Future is too slow for me.
Watch SymphogearHeritage is too slow
But you prefer the game that's roughly 40 percent overblown cutscene even mid battle, and that runs at a crisp 30 fps
It's cool if you like what you like but heritage is definitely a faster game than the new one if only because you spend more time playing it than watching it.
I'd only really need MVC 1 as I got 2 almost 7 years ago.
Maybe some of the pre-MVC 1 games I'd get.
Also, am I the only one who finds it difficult to get back into 2 after playing 3?

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!So... what are the chances of seeing anything from Resident Evil 7 in Infinite?
The fact that the games were in production at the same time could either be a point in its favor or a reason why it wouldn't happen, depending on whether Capcom is in for that kind of cross-team synergy.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well, it wasn't like that during 3's development.
Sure, their more recent titles (namely SFIV, Bionic Commando 2009, and RE 5) at the time did influence the roster, but not to promote an upcoming release unlike, say, Corrin being in Smash 4.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I guess we could see something from RE 7, though I do have to laugh whenever people mention Jack Baker as being part of the roster (mostly because I think he'd end up getting a MODOK-style reaction from most).
Personally, instead of a character, I'd rather see a stage based on RE 7, even if you're just in the basement with Man-Thing fighting off zombies in the background
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute. It'd be kind of funny if they introduced Baker as the tag partner of the guy from Dead Rising.
If Jack does get in, I'd like to see him use the chainshears because that's a very badass weapon.
It's been 3000 years…They are pretty groovy.
But I don't think anyone from 7 lends itself all that well to a versus series appearance. Wesker, Nemesis and 2!Jill were perfect in what they did and represented, but Chris was kind of lame. They could come up with somebody just as over the top as one of the first two, but I don't think the Bakers have that much.
What about Leon? Or maybe Jake and Sherry?
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Jack Baker could fight by cooking meth and throwing pizzas onto rooftops.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! It's high time Leon got in, he's starred in as many games as Chris and is way more interesting in almost every way, though RE6 did genericize his design up pretty bad.

I would love it if they revealed Chris and Jill together in their Revelations attire, as a nice Mythology Gag to the Project × Zone games.
Hell, the 2 against 2 system provides a lot of opportunities for Mythology Gag pairs when they're revealing characters. There's no way that Iron Fist and Luke Cage aren't going to be revealed together.

This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Partners.
They've never gone into detail about it beyond that, but several people have ribbed Chris over it.
Oh, that's who Chris Baker is. I misconstrued, and thought that there was a call for the everyman protagonist.
I wonder if we'll get Zero. The doubles format would suggest it, but I don't know.
I'd like to see the character-specific intro and victory quotes to return.
Like in 3 where Cap and Tony referenced Civil War, Chris's comment on Rocket, Deadpool's referencing the Spider-Man musical, Thor telling Vergil that he knows what it's like to have a wicked brother, etc.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Apparently, one of rumors regarding Infinite right is about whether or not giant characters will return (I know we've discussed the idea here, but I didn't know it was an actual rumor floating around). This article discusses the concept, how they were problematic in tournaments, and whether or not they should be brought back (all according to Jason Wang).
I've stated that I'm down with giant characters coming back, and if Capcom wants to tweak them around and make them better for tournaments, I'm fine with that too. What about you guys?
Agreed. I'd also like to see character-specific intro animations (i.e. pairing up Iron Man and Captain America results in a special intro animation of the two pulling a Back-to-Back Badasses pose instead of the regular intro).

This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Man, I miss special intro animations. Shouldn't stuff like that be easier with 3-D models?
For my part, I'd also be okay with a few giant characters who are just there to be neat and are preemptively banned from tournaments.
I want Rathalos as a giant fighter. Can't go wrong with a huge badass dragon.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
Yeah. Capcom did an MVC-style Jojo game in the 90's and (I think) a beat 'em up after that, but the license for the franchise is at Bandai-Namco now.
