Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite

If KOF wants to sell itself to me, they need to make Marco Rossi a DLC character.

Nope. I mean Marco Rossi◊ of Metal Slug fame. Some characters from Art Of Fighting (I think) guest starred in Metal Slug and I always wished the reverse would happen.

I'm actually not too familiar with King of Fighter's extended cast beyond what was in Capcom vs SNK 2.

Those were the Ikari Warriors from a really old arcade and NES game, which was somewhat like Metal Slug, so that's why they were in there.

They're much more well known for being in King of Fighters, though, and they use their modern KOF designs, so any one who thinks they're from there isn't really wrong, either.

Ah. Anyway, I stick by what I said. If Capcom and SNK ever crossover again, I want Mars People back, too.

I also hope MVCI isnt done, and that they add what would be someone's Marco Rossi.

They can't afford to add Jon Talbains Marco Rossi's if they add anyone. Megastars or bust at this point.

Well, it's always possible to go away. It doesn't seem likely for a company that's lasted as long as Capcom, but surely it'd be a possibility even for them.

So, out of curiosity, what is everybody's Marco/Talbain/etc for this game? What is that one character that would just appeal to you on an extreme level?

For me, it'd be Squirrel Girl. At least on the Marvel side. Omega on the Capcom side.

Nero, Gene, Squirrel Girl and as of the Fox purchase, Lynn Kurosawa.

Talbain, Amaterasu, Sonson, Amingo, Ruby Heart... that's probably it, I'd want some of these.

Actually, I am happy with Chris/Thanos enough that the only motivation I need to keep playing is a decent amount of competitors at the weeklies.

Aside from the obvious, I'd really like to see Roberto or Akira from Rival Schools make it in. Capcom sleeps hard on that franchise even though it's one of their best.

According to the Triva page on this wiki, it's due to Voice Actor issues.

That's not a barrier to putting the characters in crossovers or writing new music for any of them - they recast characters left and right as is.

Problem is, they're contractually obligated to use them. As the Triva page says:

And even assuming those facts were true, none of those troubles actually still apply to making new music or hiring new voices for the Rival Schools characters.

I seriously want Jack Baker in this game so that I can welcome people to the family, son!

After the last RE 7 DLC came out, alot of people want Joe Baker in the game.

Still holding out for Gene and Vile

Still wanting a few of my mains from 3 to return...

Namely Vergil, Wesker, Wolverine, and Deadpool.

As for newcomers:

I would love to see Demitri and Daredevil.

Vergil with the Reality Stone.

Daredevil would be cool. As would Loki. Ant-Man or Wasp could take inspiration from Atom in Injustice and be really cool.

Asura, for sure.

He was practically made for a fighting game, and he's been one of the most requested characters alongside Gene and X ever since his game came out.
