Comet of Doom is when comets are signs of impending disaster, not necessarily disasters in of themselves (like Colony Drop). I'm not even sure what we're supposed to be looking at. A comet that's about to hit the earth? An energy beam? But how does it signal disaster? The caption is pretty much useless in this regard as well.
