What is the definition of Jedi Mind Trick?

According to the laconic section, the trope is defined as "A magic power or device that hides one's presence." However, if you look at the page, many of the examples are about characters using mind control or the power of suggestion on people. Obviously there has been some trope decay, but I think the later interpretation of the trope makes sense. For one, the trope namer wasn't solely used for evasion. That was just one application of the power. When someone says "Jedi mind trick", most people don't think "The ability to conceal oneself." Plus, if we use the definition on the trope page, doesn't that open the trope up to further decay? What's to stop people from putting examples of Weirdness Censor or Glamour on the page?

So is Jedi Mind Trick "mind control-induced faux invisibility" or simply "power of suggestion"? The latter is already Mind Manipulation.

The former does sound it'll be related to Weirdness Censor and Glamour.

That's exactly Perception Filter. I don't see the point of this trope, as-is.
