Central Park ~ Incoming

Rosalie just stared at the rabbit...familiar...thing as it dropped out of the bag and introduced itself as Poko. It really didn't matter to her what it called itself; the fact remained that it was a talking animal. That smile was far from comforting; in fact, on it it just looked plain wrong.

"Fa...familiar...?" she asked, "...I...um...I have...uh...stuff to do. So, um...."

She didn't get the chance to get away. For at that moment, everything went straight to hell.

There came a great noise from somewhere in the center of the park. It sounded like a large explosion, but not a destructive one. This was the sound of something violently coming into existence.

Then in the next moment, there came a massive horde of...something. At a distance they looked like small black wheels, but a closer inspection would reveal that they were rimmed with numerous small eyes, and had six insectoid legs tightly folded up against their body.

They were also spreading throughout the entire park. For better or worse they seemed to ignore the civilians, and bizarrely the civilians seemed to just ignore them in turn. Should any of the girls, such as the group Rosalie was currently a part of, happen to be in the horde's way, however, they'd make a beeline straight for them. They also didn't look friendly in the slightest.

Rosalie jumped upon hearing the sound. Then when she turned towards it, trying to find the source, and saw the incoming horde, she let out a little gasp and her eyes widened.

"...Guys...I, uh...I think we should run now...."

Central Park

Caitlyn blinks slowly, processing Poko's existence. Then a second time. "... Okay then." The existence of the talking rabbit- er, familiar, she supposed settled into her mind. She was just about to ask another question when the monsters appear.

".." Their appearance takes another moment to register in her mind. She saw them, that's for sure.. For a second she just stands there. Then Rosalie's words register and she gives a nod of comprehension, before starting to back away.

Velita's statement that closing her eyes didn't help was just as confusing as the fact a girl blind since birth could suddenly see. How do you explain that? "It's alright Vels... You know, I had a red eyed girl in a dream this morning, and I'm just fine. You'll be okay" Alyssa give another reassuring squeeze,

Ironically, the world chose this exact moment to erupt into chaos with a loud explosive sound that sent Poko diving to the ground and clamping his paws over his ears in a futile attempt to block out the sound. Then the black wheels... No black creatures came into view and began closing quickly. "Alyssa! Hey, hey, I can help!" The rabbit familiar started hopping excitedly as Alyssa broke the hug to see what was going on "Wh-what are those?! What are you talking about Poko?" "This!"

Alyssa instinctively caught Poko as he leaped into her arms, then for just a moment a bright light appeared at her feet, and a wave of energy sent Poko's ears and Alyssa's hair fluttering up in the air before in a flash Poko was gone, replaced by a white and gold bow. And Alyssa's clothes had been replaced with a caped uniform that she didn't have time to examine as Poko's voice could be heard again... From the bow? "See! You know how to use a bow, right? Come on!"

After a moment to process just what was going on, not that it made any sense, she nodded, nocked an arrow on a string of light that suddenly appeared and drew it. "I don't know what's going on... But maybe I can buy you some time to get Velita to safety!"

Loosing the arrow, she watched it fly and strike one of the wheel creatures through an eye, knocking it to the ground where it exploded in a puff of black smoke

Maike was about to get to the others asthe park suddenly went full on HP Lovecraft with those creatures. Maike for a momend t was frozen into place. Seeing them beelining towards her made Erwin jump before her... but... inseat of barks or growls... words escaped his mouth "Not the way I wanted to introduce it... but Fight or Flight! Decide now!" What?!? Surely her pet Fennec did not just talk... yet he did. Maike now was even more mortified... yet... something in his words flipped a switch within her brain.

Suddenly everything happened very quick... she could suddenly feel a bit of wind on her arms... evidently she was not wearing the same clothing as before... she had not even time to wonder what happened as she suddenly saw a thorny vine tightly curled around her left arm with at least two meters of vine being free... yet... eventhough the thing was tightly curled against her skin the thorns did not hurt her. Maike only had a short time to wonder what this was, it... looked like a whip. More out of pure instinct than anything else Maike yanked her left arm around and this - for lack of a better word 'vine-whip' was lashing out to one of the creatures.

As if sudden sight wasn't bad enough, suddenly seeing hundreds of...things careening toward them was worse. As was seeing her best friend fight them! "Aly!" She reaches for her...but then her headache returns with a force. "Gah!" She squeezes one eye shut.

As one speeds toward her...a familiar image comes to mind...the red-eyed girl, smiling and, like in the dream, holding up her hand, nodding. It takes a moment, but Velita raises her hand in a similar motion. "Stay...Stay AWAY!" she shouts and feels a small amount of energy, no...force, leave her fingertips and blast into the creature, sending it flying into the pack.

Poor girl's even more confused by this.

Like, now she's just staring at her hand.

Aki I Crossroads I Suddenly, EXPLOSIONS!

"Aliens?" She pondered over this conclusion for few seconds, before reaching a conclusion. "Pfft- that's just silly! Aren't they, like, stuff grown-ups made up to talk abou-"

It was at that moment that the sound of a loud explosion made Aki yelped out of surprise, before looking at the direction of said explosion: The Central Park. And yet, she couldn't see any sign of an explosion there; at least, from afar.

"Did you all hear that?!" I spoke to my two newfound acquaintances, pointing my fingers to the general location of said park.

"Something must've happened. C'mon!" And already, she went towards the park, her curiosity peaked and wanting to see what's going on.

Crossroads — "My plant-sense is tingling"

Aki didn't seem to accept the theory of aliens being behind Al's powers but her opinion on the subject had to wait. Something had exploded in the park.

Thanks to her powers, Allison could feel what was happening. There were things rolling around the park. They had several eyes that touched the grass and made her shiver like if she had touched them herself.

Al was prepared to run away from the scene and leave the cops to handle this but Aki had decided run in the direction of the park and she wasn't going to let her get herself killed. So, she ran after her trying to grab her arm.

"Hold on! Those things are dangerous!"

This Aki was a dreadfully cheerful girl. Why did Alice always have to attract those types?

Alice was about to excuse herself, and hopefully, never see the two again, when a loud noise coming from Central Park sounded. Alice never involved herself in danger when she could avoid it and therefore started heading on her... Why was Aki running towards it?

Then Allison started chasing after Aki. Her cries that something was dangerous did little to reassure Alice. Having a strong self-preservation instinct, Alice wasn't going to run into potential danger for someone she just met. So why was Alice running after them now? It seems like Alice is a bit nicer than she thinks she is.

Caitlyn was prepared to run, but seeing everyone stand their ground and fight back gave her some courage. She wanted to help out somehow, but how.. Ugh.. The feeling from before was back again. After its momentary subsidence from earlier, it was back with a vengeance. What the- The feeling makes her dizzy. It pulses, leaving her only vaguely aware of what's going on around her.. the insect creatures drawing closer, Velita looking at her hand...

Her dizziness peaks and vanishes completely before she's enveloped in a bright, but mercifully brief, white light. When it subsides, Caitlyn looks a little different. Okay, not a little, a lot. Her hair is white with black and orange splotches, she's gained cat ears and a tail, and gauntlets/shin guards. Caitlyn's... pretty surprised.

"W-what the-" Before she even has time to process what just happened, one of the monsters lunges at her. Caitlyn reflexively tries to swat it away. Her hand- or more specifically, her nails- cut through the creature with unusual ease. Now it's time for Caitlyn to look at her hands. .. Oh look, I have claws...

Central Park
Eventually, Heather had insisted that she be left to run on her own two feet, to have T.D.M. disappear, and a number of other things as she mentally screamed at him. Well, truthfully, she was at least a little thankful that he had intercepted that other monster...girl...thing, she was perfectly capable of dodging it herself, thank you, and now people are going to be wondering what exactly she was doing interacting with some kind of person who calls himself Darkmaster!

...Like her parents. Aside from the fact that he shouldn't exist, she doubted her parents were gonna like this.

She stopped to catch her breath, holding her knees and panting when she heard the explosion. And with that explosion, something which could be vaguely called a wheel was soon to follow! It narrowly missed on its first attempt, and Heather was now convinced she was either about to die or had already died. Today, everything black and evil-looking was on her doorstep.

Sprinting away as fast as she could, again, she tried to make it past a small thicket of trees in the hope that it would stop the thing from following, but it managed to navigate through with ease and only miss her by an inch. Coming out past that, she came across a group of girls and a...cat-girl thing. She wanted to say something, but they wasn't actively trying to kill her like everything else.

With the wheel coming around for another attempt, and the likelihood that it would miss growing smaller with each pass, Heather wondered why her familiar hadn't come out and shouted something before killing it. Then, she realized, she did indeed tell him to go away and never speak again.

That could be fixed.

"HELP!" she shouted, not to the gaggle of girls but to her protector, and within the same second he appeared right before the wheel could bowl her over. With a fist as fast as it was strong, The Darkmaster swung down hard onto the top of the wheel and smashed it flat to the ground, leaving a deep indentation in the Earth. "YES, I CAN HELP," he said, sounding slightly miffed about earlier still.

Heather held her head like she had a strong ache, which she might've, and asked "Do you know what any of these things are?" T.D.M. paused for a moment, and shook his head. Seeing as those girls looked as strange as the rest of the world right now, she shouted at them "Do any of YOU know what's going on?!"

Central Park

At least one of the others agreed to run. At that moment, Rosalie hopped on her skateboard and prepared to lead everyone away. Unfortunately, she didn't get to move an inch until the first group of the monsters was upon them. Mercifully, this was a small group of a mere five. At this close range, they could now see that the creatures' color was actually shifting. Most of their bodies were covered in shadow, but occasionally there was a flash of what appeared to be bronze. Furthermore, as they unfurled to attack, they started manifesting two pairs of feathery wings made out of what looked like yellow light. On the whole, they appeared to be almost angelic, in a way.

Before Rosalie could come up with a better course of action, more strange things started happening. Namely, everyone around her started manifesting superpowers. Poko leaped into his master's arms, turning her into some kind of mystical archer. Then the blind girl fired a blast of energy that knocked one of the creatures away. Then the remaining girl turned into a cat girl.

Wait...didn't most of them mention having a dream of the red-eyed girl? They didn't get a chance to talk about it because the blind girl was freaking out and then this happened, but if they did and they had superpowers, and she also had such a dream...did that mean she had superpowers too?

She didn't get a chance to mull over it nor find a way to active anything on her own when one of the creatures lunged towards her, intending to stick all six of its pointy legs into her. She reflexively flinched...and then she found herself covered in a glowing pink light. Well, that answered that question. Now what was happening? The light covering her felt...comfortable. Almost like something invigorating was flowing into her.

In another moment, reality returned. And the first thing Rosalie saw was the creature smacking against some kind of pink, sparkly shield. It fell to the ground, stunned. She relaxed, and then the shield dissipated. Wait...was that her doing? She tried conjuring it up again, and sure enough it appeared in front of her.

She dropped it again, then looked at the stunned creature lying at her feet. Her gaze hardened, and she promptly followed it up by just kicking the thing. More pink, sparkly energy covered her leg as it connected, sending it flying into another one. Then both of them were promptly squashed by some great shadow man that was apparently with yet another newcomer. In any other circumstance they would have freaked her out more than Poko did, but in this case she was more relieved about the extra help. At least, he seemed like he was here to help, if what he said in that great big booming voice was any indication.

Then her attention turned back to herself as she realized that she didn't look the same. Namely...since when was she wearing heels and stockings? She certainly didn't leave her apartment wearing those. She looked down at her hands to find that she also was wearing white gloves. Then she looked down at herself even more, and found she was now clad in a frilly pink-and-white princess dress with poofy sleeves and a small pink crystal right over her chest. She also found she'd lost her glasses somewhere, though she could see just fine without them now. She wasn't able to see either of these for herself, obviously, but her hair and brown eyes had both turned bright pink.

In short...she was now wearing an outfit she wouldn't want to be seen wearing in public. If it weren't for all the weirdness around her, she might have dropped dead of embarrassment on the spot. As it was, she just hoped the others were too busy focusing on the monsters to point and laugh.

She came back to reality when the girl with the shadow man asked what was going on.

"I, uh....I have no c-c-clue...." she said to the newcomer, all the while looking very sheepish, "...T-things started a-attacking, t-then we all b-became superheroes and, and, and...." She shook her head, then turned to look in the direction the monsters seemed to be coming from. "I, uh...if w-w-we're going to f-f-fight...I, uh, I v-vote we all h-hide behind the shadow m-man h-here...."

Then the creature stunned by the blind girl's blast got back to its feet. It and its remaining partner decided that the shadow man was the most threatening person in the room. One of them simply charged at him from the front, while the other would attempt to roll around to his backside before flying up and lunging straight at the nape of his neck assuming he or one of the other girls present didn't notice and kill it in the meantime.

Even if the remaining two were dispatched, however, the group didn't have much breathing room. There was already another horde of the creatures incoming. There didn't seem to be any end to them...but surely, they had to be coming from somewhere?

Crossroads

It wouldn't be long until the three girls came across their first group of the creatures. This batch consisted of ten of the beings, and their first move was to attempt to surround the small group. Assuming they weren't dispatched before they succeeded, half of them would take to the air and try to strike from above, while the remainder would just charge at them from below.

Aki I Crossroads I Now, it's my turn!

Luckily for Allison, she managed to catch up to Aki easily. Feeling the sensation of having one's arm grabbed and warning that it's dangerous to go there, she was about to turn around and ask before those things that the girl mentioned was around.

At this, Aki stopped and... was quite at a loss. Whereas before, she was filled with wonders at the unnatural things that had happened; now, not so much. Not while she could feel actual danger just from seeing how they approached them menacingly.

Eh? her mind was at a standstill as these things began to surround her. What's going on? her thoughts continued, before suddenly noticing the two girls who'd decided to follow her.

Oh no.

"LOOK OUT!" she yelled out, trying to reach out to them to get them out of the way, just after noticing that the 'wheels' are charging towards them. At the same time, something odd began to happen as her own body began to glow with white, growing brighter and brighter by every second. Just as they are about to approach them, the scene suddenly flashed momentarily before they were violently repulsed and pushed back by an unseen force.

Within the center of the flash stood Aki, only now with an entirely new wardrobe altogether. Gone were her hoodies, instead replaced with a white, sleeveless robe barring her midriff, a headdress, very loose pants and shoes reminiscent to that of an ancient middle-eastern wear.

Even as Aki is coming to terms with her sudden new look, what's more surprising that the things started to back away. No, rather, she made them back away as she could feel the near-transparent spherical force around her crackling with energy before evaporating shortly afterwards, protecting both her and the two people she just met from harm.

"... Huh?" she eventually managed to muster out, looking at her own two hands and trying to process what just happened.

Adrianna was just going her merry way pretending nothing of what happened earlier was actually real. Then all of sudden she heard an explosion go off and looked at the direction of it, only to see some creepy black wheel things rolling around. Just what was going on that day?! That all couldn't be real, could it?

Either way, she took the reasonable approach to such a situation: She just ran away as fast as her legs could take her.

Al caught up with Aki but by the time she had noticed her, the "wheels" had already spotted the group. Aki shouted for them to watch out for the wheels that were approaching. Surprisingly, she started glowing, so much so, that Al covered her eyes from the light. When she opened them again, the little girl had a wardbrobe change and the wheels were sent flying away from her.

"Aki?"

Others things started going backwards, apparently not under their own volition. Aki was actually doing that... somehow. Al knew this wasn't a coincidence. She and Aki had something in common, and the tree girl couldn't help but feel intrigued and amazed by her powers.

Alice was following her two new acquaintances when everything went to hell. These demonic wheels were definitely dangerous, no way something like that wouldn't be. Alice started to panic internally, which wasn't helped by Aki turning into a magical girl. All the normal rules of reality that Alice had cultivated in her mind through her life experiences were being challenged.

Alice knew one thing for sure, that if she didn't do something she would die. She wanted to run but they would catch up. She wanted to hide but they would find her. She wanted to escape but... Where was she?

Cold... It was cold. Alice opened her eyes and saw the scene she was in from a completely different angle. It seemed like she was  looking from the big puddle nearby, but like she was inside it.

Either way, Alice had no idea what was going on and felt like she couldn't do anything that would make the situation better. So for now she waited.

It was hard to tell what was going on still, there were a lot of the creatures and they were closing fast. Alyssa had hoped the other girls would run as was suggested and take Velita with them and Alyssa would catch up to them afterwards, but it seemed like everyone stayed put. And everyone had some sort of trick up their sleeves. What was going on? And WHY were those people she could see in the park not even noticing these monsters?!

There wasn't time to think, barely enough time to react to the two attemptng a pincer movement on the shadow man by loosing another arrow at the one circling around him just as it started to leap. Frankly, she wasn't certain it was on their side... But at the very least maybe it would help.

"Velita, we don't have time to just stand here, there's gonna be more!" Alyssa shouted to her friend, and by extension the other girls who's names she hadn't gotten yet due to being distracted "We gotta stop them from coming, quickly!" Poko the bow's suggestion just got a confused look from it's wielder "How are we supposed to do that?!" "I dunno..."

Despite the unhelpful exchange, Alyssa carefully looked around the park to try and see the source of the explosion and creatures.

The monsters were stunned momentarily by Aki's barrier. However, the group wouldn't have time to gawk for it wasn't long until they regained their footing. In response, half of them took to the air again. Assuming they weren't struck down, their next move was to freeze the tips of their legs and then fire icy beams from them. While they weren't able to penetrate Aki's barrier on their own, their intent was simply to keep firing until the barrier gave out. It couldn't last forever.

Two more caught sight of Alice's new position inside the puddle. It was doubtful they really knew what was going on, but they turned away from the others and made a beeline straight for the puddle, intent on trying to flush her out.

The remainder focused their efforts on Al. They coated themselves in ice before twirling towards her, turning into miniature icy maelstroms in the meantime.

Central Park (Adrianna)

The second the monsters set their eyes on Adrianna, they started chasing her. Given that they had the advantage of being wheels while the girl was forced to rely on just her two feet, they were closing the gap and closing it fast. Fortunately there were only five of them in this particular group, although that was still something of a trying prospect for someone on her own.

If Adrianna didn't want to try fighting them off, her other option was to try and lose them. If she was smart enough, she'd likely be able to outwit them somehow.

Alice's relief at finding a hiding place was short lived when two of the wheel creatures started heading towards her. She practically leaped out of the reflection in a panic. She wanted, needed, help, and it was delivered by Alice's reflection jumping out after her.

Alice, in disbelief, brushed her hand on the clone to confirm its reality. To her surprise, the skin of the copy had a texture similar to a smooth stone and was way colder than a healthy human had any right to be. The clone was directly between Alice and the monsters.

Before Alice could so much as move, the reflection ran at the wheels and started to slash at them with her fingernails. While if a normal person did that it'd would be useless, the clone's nails were made of the same material as the rest of her. Needless to say, they were probably gonna get hurt.

Aki I Crossroads I A Good Offense is the Best Defense

Al's praise caused Aki to snap out of it, causing her to realize what just happened.

She, Aki, caused this. She just recently had her clothes changed. And she just repelled the monsters with what she could only describe as a shield of some sort. A shield made of magic that she herself called forth.

In other words, she, Aki, had, for reasons inexplicable, became a magical girl.

Silence came over her... before she absolutely exploded from sheer enthusiasm!

"WHOOOOAAA.... Hey hey, did you guys see that?! Did you? Did you?!" The girl suddenly yelled out, smiling broad and very clearly ecstatic at this revelation. This was interrupted, of course, by the attack of the wheels, who now has ice powers.

Now that's just rude! She was just talking to her friends, you know?! Then again, this situation might be the perfect time to show off to her new friends, while also testing out her new powers! Plus, there's something that she's been meaning to do before that, something that she could actually do while looking cool!

It was then that she noticed that the other girls around her.

Seeing the barrier still holding on and unable to resist holding back what she has planned any further, she placed one foot in front of her down on the pavement floor while raising up one of her hands in a very dramatic fashion before loudly making her heroic entrance. "Never fear, fellow citizens! I, Aki, the...," Crap crap crap crap! Think of a name, think of a name!... "err.. th-the White Witch," Yeah, that will do! "will strike down these evildoers of darkness and save the day!"

Good job, Aki! That must surely impress them!

With her grand speech done, it's time for action! Locking on onto the five focusing on bringing her down, she brought her right arm in front of her and made a swift gesture within the air before a translucent sphere appears, covering her small frame. She doesn't know how she did it or was able to know how to do that at all, just that she somehow instinctively knows what to do.

With a swift kick to the ground, she quickly propelled herself towards them, her newly-formed barrier protecting her from harm while still leaving her other barrier intact. Along the way, she felt something different within her. She felt lighter. Stronger. Faster.

It is as though she felt like she could take on the entire world right now.

With a huge grin on her face, she used the momentum of her initial flight to deliver a powerful punch to one of the wheels. Yet even with that force behind the attack, she could feel herself instinctively recreating the same magical energy she used to craft her barriers into the very end of her fist, nearing completion but not quite. It was only after her hit connected that she released the energy focused on her hand.

The result was devastating, as an earth-shattering 'Ka-Pow!' sound resounded within the air with the force of a punch so powerful, no little girl has any right to have; sending one of the wheels sprawling on the cold, concrete street and leaving a sizable hole there before disappearing into fine, black mists soon after.

If that doesn't leave a massive impression to Aki and, by extension everyone else, then she doesn't know what will! The only thing stopping her from being completely awed at herself was the appearance of the other four monsters around her, which she actually took a few moments to notice. Unless the wheel monsters did something to stop or distract her from her advance, Aki would proceed to try to make short work of them with her recently-discovered powers.

Whatever the conclusion may be, one thing is certain: the young girl known as Aakiyah is currently having the time of her life.

Central Park
Heather wasn't missing out on some kind of important detail, that's nice, but it seemed like they had...superpowers, for lack of a better word. It seemed odd that she was thinking about this right now, but did her "familiar" or whatever count as a power? It felt more like a separate entity. Were all of these people, like, very young superheroes or something?

Since Heather couldn't do so much as wait for this mess to be over, The Darkmaster was content to bask in the attention he was getting. He got to protect a bunch of small children, what an honor! "OH 'YES, PINK MAGISTER, YOU ARE WELCOME TO HIDE BEHIND THE MIGHTY BULWARK THAT IS..."

A number of shadowy arms shot out from the ground and held the first wheel in place while T.D.M. grabbed it and held it aloft, trying to tear it in half. He shouted, in a tone that was somehow darker than usual,    "THE..."

Heather looked behind her and saw the second wheel rapidly advancing, but before she could even shout "Look Out!" or something along those lines T.D.M. had already seen the imagery in her mind. He swung hard, as soon as the other wheel was in range, and batted it and the one in his hand into the distance with a finished cry of    "DARKMASTEEEERR!"

Central Park (Rosalie, Heather, Alyssa, Caitlyn, Velita, Maike)

Alyssa would be able to see that there seemed to be a pattern to the horde of monsters. Namely, that they seemed to be spreading out in a fashion not dissimilar to a ripple. There was a gap between the currently rapidly approaching horde and the next, barely visible one. She might also be able to tell that they seemed to be coming from the center of the park.

Visible to not only Alyssa but to everyone else present was another girl some distance away, who was fighting against a group of four monsters. Her vine whip was enough to dismantle one of them, as it flew backwards and then broke and dissipated into black smoke, but the other three seemed to still be giving her trouble. One flew up before going for a strike to the neck, another rolled straight at her feet, and the third froze its front legs before sending a pair of icy blasts at her fox.

The Darkmaster, as the shadow man called himself, seemed perfectly content with Rosalie's suggestion. No one else so much as acknowledged it, however; presumably, they were all just as confused as she was. The archer girl and her familiar seemed to be looking for a source of the creatures, however.

For lack of a better option, she just braced herself for the next wave. However, then her eyes settled on the girl with the fox fighting nearby.

"H-hey, that girl over there...." she said, pointing, "She l-looks like she needs h-help...!"

Regardless of what everyone else did, she'd then run over to assist the other girl...or try to, at least. Running in heels was not exactly the easiest thing to do in the world, and even more so for her as she was unused to wearing them.

Central Park

Maike was visibly relieved that one of those... things was away. She yanked her arms upwards to brace for the strike, managing to parry it - if only barely, which in turn brought the 2nd one all the time he needed... she let out a sharp shriek and the next thing Maike noticed was that she was on the ground, Erwin all the while dodged the blasts "Get up! Quick!" Before answering Maike quickly lashed out with the whip again... it looked like much more force was behind that than probably should have, going by the situation... seemingly the vine itself helped.

Crossroads — Cold Wheels

Aki shared Al's entusiasm regarding her powers and quickly took care of a demonic wheel interrupting her. Of course, being Aki, she went overboard and started making a speech declaring that she would protect the city or her name wasn't... the White Witch?

"I think you are overdoin' the whole magical girl thing" to be fair, she had just saved them from whatever the hell those things were "But as long as you can hold them off, I'm not gonna complain"

The little girl already seemed used to combat even though she had obviously never used her powers before. Al was blown away by her powers. It sure beat being trapped inside a tree. Unfortunately for her, she was still in the middle of a fight and it's not like she could rely on Aki for everything. Getting distracted by watching the White Witch's performance, she realized a bit too late that a lot of wheels were aiming for her. Oh, and they were covered in ice. Becuase they weren't bad enough already.

"Aw, shit!"

She only had enough time to cover her head with her arms but luckily her wooden armor had activated itself. She was sent against a car with enough for to break the windows. Al was surprised by how little pain she was feeling. She was a bit sore but it wasn't nearly as bad as getting shoved against a car probably should be.
