... The last two are maybe a bit silly but they do have fun designs^^
Sooooooooo, these may only be working titles, but we may have found the names of the specials:
- Ben 10: Alien X-Tinction
- Ben Gen 10
- Ben 10,010

"Ben 10,010" will air next month on the 27th.
Basic gist of the summary: New alien species attacks the Earth named Xtra as an alien rebellion thingy. Gwen leads the Earth resistance against them as the President of the US while Ben, having been cut off from his family a long while ago to be a hero, travels from the future to the present to ask help from his 10 years old self.
Hmm, but that the third special listed. Is it Out of Order? Will other specials air before that? Is order incorrect or doesn't really matter for those?
Honestly hard to pinpoint which order it's meant to be in.
Wait, is the Generator Rex crossover taking place in another universe?
In reboot universe, I think

We have an official promo picture of "Ben Gen 10", which features the deaged Rex alongside Six and Bobo Haha. It looks like Hex is returning as an antagonist for the special too.
Gonna be honest, not digging the way Rex looks in this art style.
Time travel, crossovers, alternate realities...man, they're doing every "big comic event" plotline, huh?
Also, I like that they're re-using the scenario for Ben from the original "Ben 10,000" episode, but with the new twist that HE'S the one who gets his past self's help instead of future Gwen, meaning he kicks off his own change of heart. It'll be interesting to see what makes him swallow his pride and do that.

It's weird how some characters in this show aren't redesigned at all, like how Kevin or now Gen Rex cast aside from Rex being younger looks the same.
New aliens from Perkins, Skidmarx and Somnambulizard.
Spoilers for the Ben 10,010 movie but I feel like we need a new trope because apparently most of Ben's villains end up reformed. To be fair, they'll do it in the future but I can think of so many shows these days that end up reforming most of their villains by the end.
It's funny that Kevin of all people didn't strictly pull a Heel–Face Turn in the future - he's just the same Wild Card rival who can be a Friendly Enemy fighting for the greater good as he always was in the present. I guess that's a nod to the original show, where Kevin 11,000 was still a crazed villain like Kevin in the present, or in Omniverse where Kevin 11,000 was a redeemed friend of Ben's like Kevin in the present. Kevin's just not that malleable, I guess.

The final season of Big Hero 6 recently reformed not all, but a significant amount of the Rogues Gallery.
I honestly like that more for Kevin. Him being a full-blown hero or a completely monstrous villain never worked for me.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I agree, especially with this version since he's got his own Omnitrix - being a pure villain doesn't suit him since he's just a troubled kid and not a young serial killer like the OS version, but if you made him a full-on hero then Ben becomes redundant. The Rival who always is out to one-up Ben but will also work with him when the situation calls for it is the perfect role for this Kevin.
Yes, I did list in links BH 6 alongside with 3 other shows.
Duncan said he never saw that poster before and it's news to him, so it looks like the image may not be completely official
Though I absolutely love Alien Force heroic Kevin, I will begrudgingly admit that him being despicted as a right balance of anti-hero does kinda works better as the use for the character. So... yeah, I acknowledge that the reboot is kinda an improvement in the matter - though still not enough to make me want to watch it.
Also, wow, they really like to re-use Hex in that version, don't they? He is one of the most commonly used villains in the show, gets to be the main baddie in the video game, and now in the special. Are Man of Action trying to make up for him getting so little to do compared to Charmcaster in the main franchise?
I suppose. I mean, what? He's been around for ages, practically immortal. If he wants to take over the world on the daily, it wouldn't be that easy to get rid of him (especially since, with no supernatural police around, he can escape whenever he want through teleportation). He and Animo are on similar levels (though Animo's a whole diff brand of crazy).
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Charmcaster's development in the sequels was hella rocky, but at least it was something. Following his one appearance (and video game) in Alien Force, Hex just petered out completely; his Heel–Face Turn was completely off-screen and he didn't even manage to really accomplish anything with that!

I think John Dimaggio came back as Bobo, but I can't tell if that's Rex's VA or not.
There is an explanable reason for Kenny finding it lame: he inherited his father's taste.
