For some reason, the games never really caught on. I enjoyed all three, but I couldn't take how dead even the dedicated community sites were, and I haven't touched 3 in probably over half a year or so. The coolest thing I ever put time into making was this. Eventually I figured that continuing to make it in LBP 2 (and eventually 3) would be a big limitation, and if I ever really want to realize it, I'm better off learning how to build it in GameMaker Studio.
this place needs me hereThat level's pretty cool. Better than anything I could make.
I think the thing with the games isn't that you can make levels, it's that you can make levels fairly simply. So if you already have (and know how to use) GameMaker, there's not much point to LBP.

They're really cute games. Haven't played them in a while, but I did make a level once in LBP3. I was partway through another one, but never got around to finishing.
EDIT: Also, did they ever fix that stupid Ziggurat spawn glitch in 3? I got it, restarted my file, and then got it again.

I think they did. I'm not sure, because I never got the glitch.

Oops, looks like we already have this thread. (I didn't notice it because the title is spelled a three separate words, but I can ask a mod to fix that).
We have threads for LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet 3, but no one's posted in them for years. This is for the games in general.
One random observation: There's an unevenness in which characters are recognised on this site. Most people recognise Sackboy, because he was the only memorable character when the first game came out. By the time LBP2 introduced other characters, the games weren't as popular.
P.S. Level recommendations should probably go in a different thread, this one's for general discussion.
