Alright, let's get to work.

First off, his personality. I think you need to elaborate upon it more. What are his friends? What are his flaws? What does he fear? Just saying that he's confident, and likes puns is not enough to cut it.

And the relics. Hoo boy. I don't know how to implement relics. Maybe just erasing the line between ordinary objects and relics will cut it? Or maybe just insert relics as a separate group of objects in the dimension.

But other than that, everything is A-OK.

I expounded on his personality a bit. As for the relics, I figured he would start play with enough to hold Normal Knack size, and work with those. He would have to work to keep them all, but be able to pull other objects as he needed otherwise. Whether or not you implement additional relics is up to you, of course.

Other than that, everything seems fine.

Honestly that would be the most effective method. And with that I can get rid of my somewhat homebrewed ability of reactivating the relics he's lost (since I wasn't sure if he could find more I had to improvise so he wouldn't be paying for every injury all game :p).
