Pile Bunker desperately needs a rename. It's talking about weaponized pile drivers, but it's apparently named after a particular example from Zoids (the CP-08 Pile Bunker) which is Engrish gobbletygook that doesn't communicate what the trope is talking about at all. It sounds like a shoddily-built defensive structure.

When used as a pothole, it's more of a bottomless crevasse than a pothole. For example: This Is a Drill notes that drill weapons "...may or may not combine with Pile Bunker to emphasize the idea and increase the range." Not helping, unless I happen to be a fan of Zoids.

"Weaponized Jackhammer" redirects to it, and while boring, that at least gets the point across. I'd be happy to entertain more clever titles.
