In any case it's well worth doing his Confidant. IMO it's one of the best in the game.

If nothing else, he gives some good benefits for doing so.

I have him at 5 atm. Which is sort of my average except Takemi who is 6 I think. Oh I think Ryuji is at 6 or 7 too.

This palace seems like it's going to take a while. So far the easiest one was Madarame's.

and man Ryuji's VA nailed him perfectly. The main cast has some great voicework so far Only Yusuke's VA so far is a bit weak and that's mainly restricted to his battle lines.

You should max out Ryuji. He's by far the easiest one to do.

Life Will Change counts as a dungeon theme. Thus, it is the best.

Beat the True Final Boss with Alice, Raphael, Mara, Arsene, King Frost, Yamata no Orochi and T Hor in my persona roster, with Ryuji, Doctor lady and Kawakami's Confidants maxed out.

[[Spoiler:My take on how things work in the final stretch is that Yaldabaoth was manipulating humanity from the beginning, hence the cast noticing the masses still believing in S Hido and forgetting about the Phantom Thieves despite...everything. Yaldbaoth did that, just to justify himself remaking the world under his own rule, likely using the Holy Grail as the catlyst behind this. it makes sense, considering how Morgana points out how he has been rigging the 'game' in his favour from the beginning, and how he ultimately looks down on humanity. which arguably makes him far nastier than Izanami, who genuinely did what she did out of believing she was doing what humanity wanted. So hmanity turning against him and seeking freedom via the Phantom Thieves is doubly awesome as it proves him wrong and shows that his manipualtions have failed.]] of course, that's just my take on the story.

Beat the 4th palace. I nearly screwed up when beat an enemy, then had two anubis "round 2" while I didn't have Isis equipped...thankfully none ofthem went for the OHKO. The boss was tricky since I didn't have my despair ring on. That is a nasty ailment to have.

I can definitely say who has the ugliest Phantom Thief costume and persona though now lol.

And my gawd does Yusuke bug. Dude get friends.

They do really drive the starving loner artist cliche into the ground with Yusuke.

Futaba is hilarious. This game has a great cast.

The Fanservice beach scenes kind of fall flat on the service since the bodies are so undetailed for the dudes(the general shape is fine, but I will never understand Japan's aversion to drawing nipples on dudes) and the girls' asses are rather unimpressive. But they are high schoolers so oversexualizing them would be creepy I guess.

That dig about the art-style being rather un-sexual me of a thought. A lot of fan-art of Anne I see portrays her with a generous chest but I don't ever remember her breasts being big & looking at them now they aren't.

Makes me wonder if Anne is supposed to have a big chest but it doesn't come through in the actual design/art-style.

Hmmm I'm already kind of missing Mona as our battle hypeman. Futaba's cool but she's not as hype as Mona. Oracle is a nice name, definitely feels like a Shout-Out to Batman though. Especially since Barbara has red hair and glasses too.

I was glad when Morgana got replaced as the navigator. His constant shitting on Ryuji gets real old real fast.

Yeah, Morgana being replaced was such a relief. Whatever appeal he seems to have, it's very much lost on me.

He is much more likable when he & Ryuji stay the fuck away from each other.

Agreed. I like Morgana as a character, but he and Ryuji definitely bring out the worst in eachother.

Morgana is pretty much the only character who I think is unequivocally better than his Persona 4 counterpart.

Having replayed Golden recently - yes, definitely better than Teddie.

That's not hard to accomplish to be fair. Teddie is pretty awful.

Makes me excited for 5Q.

Just imagine the 2 interacting.

I don't really mind Teddie; he's learning how to be human from a gaggle of horny teenagers, after all.

Yosuke poisoned his impressionable young mind, poor thing. If only he was able to stay with Yu or someone else.
