Suggestion: Characters.Strike Witches

As I was changing pictures for the Strike Witches page to have more unified appearance (the previous pictures were bunch of screenshots from the show, or resized art), I realized that the Brave Witches folder needs pictures. I am not sure what art to use. I have three suggestions, based on the official site's character bios (reference◊).

• Headshot (upper-left picture)
• Bust shot (lower-right picture)
• Full body image (lower-left picture)
• Fourth option would be to use artwork from Fumikane, but there is no solo picture of Karibuchi sisters outside of the old character bios from the website, and they would need to be chopped from the bios.

Also, since the main page uses practically same picture as the character page for Strike Witches folder, I want to suggest the series' main logo◊ for the work page.

I very much dislike the logo for the main page over the screencap of their unit patch, its far too wide for the site and in Japanese. If Brave Witches keeps with the pattern we should have a good shot for that when it airs.

As for the character page I would be fine with cutaway line art unless it shows too much 'they are not pantsu'.

My problem with the current main page art is the fact that I view the page itself as the main representation of the series as a whole, and not just the anime. And there are a lot of material before and after the anime which focus on Witches not in the titular Strike Witches unit. Which is why I sort of view having the series' logo as the main image being more fitting.

As for the problem of the logo being in Japanese, I tried looking for an English version, but I haven't found a clear version of it. And only good pictures where it could be chopped from would be [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊

Then the page itself needs a rework as it is supposed to only cover the Strike Witches. anything else, such as the Brave Witches airing in 6 weeks, should be on its own page covering that specific series with possibly a franchise page indexing all the series.

The only one of those that looks good is the third one but looking back at the old thread on the series, the only reason the page has an image at all is there isn't anything objectionable in the shot and not unfair to the ensemble cast. That one is unnecessarily risque and only one character.

And I LIKE the current image, the unit patch works well.

If we are going to make a separate page for Brave Witches, then that is a different story. And I would appreciate a franchise page to cover general tropes and listing all of the official works. The unit logo works fine for covering the Strike Witches anime itself.

Also, I was posting those pictures not for the whole picture, but for the logo.

Did some experimenting with three different options for the character images. I checked through the full-body artwork of all of the characters, and in regarding the "no pantsu" problem, in terms of pantyshots, there are no pantyshots in front art (unless you count School Swimsuit), though back art does show few panties with few of them.

I think it's kind of insane that neither the main page nor the character page actually shows the witches' airplane legs. It's a huge part of the series' gimmick and its absence is really jarring.

Well to show that you would be putting a Panty Shot as the page image, which was what the last thread said hell no to.

The first one looks good if everyone has one like it for Brave Witches.
