Chapter out:
What, you guys seriously though they were going to leave them?
Also, RIP Goldy Pond.
…Well that cliffhanger was unneccessary.
And with this the Goldy Pond arc is over. Thoughts overall?
Personally I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the Grace Field arc, due to most of the human characters feeling underdevelopped and, well, rather bland, but it definitely had its moments. Bayon and Leuvis more or less carried this arc to me.
They are underdeveloped! Only Lucas mattered amongst the lot.
Lewis and Bayon are what carried the arc once they got going and we delve into both their minds a little. Lewis memories even makes me wonder how his past without the hunt has been since Musica was born after the pact.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Chapter out:
The downtime didn't last long.
Also, we finally learn Mr name It's Yuugo.
Aww… I wanted him to say "My name is Max."
But holy crap, Gilda was actually gonna do it. >.> And geez Emma, you just barely avoided joining the Choir Invisible, take a fucking break.
I was surprised that she didn't even think of going to rescue Norman until I remembered only Adam knows he's still alive…

Huh I wonder what final plan means.
Hmmmh maybe we are close to the ending then.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I highly doubt we're endgame yet.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Chapter 97 out:
So their new plan while moving forward is to meet with !@#$% and forge a new pact. Which sounds good except it's hard to see what would compel !@#$% to agree.
Yeah, we're getting to the meat of the problem. "Sure, we can escape… but what about the others?" And with this the scale of the plot expands in a logical way.
I suppose this will all end with both worlds turning vegan or something.
Hmm, so from what I get… Musica's pendent is a sort of bug?
And we're not even sure #### is a creature that can be talked to to begin with…
Just read the chapter with the Omake and Gag version.
Krone is ripped!
Gag! Mama is a ditz and the demons are the least threatening things in the world.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. You know, I feel like Emma might actually be more one-note than your standard Shonen protagonist. Which is sad because her being a girl, actually supposed to a genius or at least near genius, and hints about her maybe being a bit...off, could potentially make her much more interesting than average.
I want to, and feel like I should like her, but it's getting harder.

She's setting her goals to unrealistically high. That I can see. The factory farms the kids should be braindead too from how they lived so the idea she can free them and they live as normal folk shouldn't be possible.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I honestly don't see how her grand plan could not backfire horribly.
Well, they've got some Unspoken Plan Guarantee going for them, at least.
She at least seems to be different from a standard Shonen protagonist in that she doesn't plan on beating the demons in a fight. She quite reasonably assumes that is completely out of the question.
Disgusted, but not surprisedIn a sense, she's the anti-Eren Yeager. Eren was a batshit crazy kid with a "kill all enemies" mentality, which ended up making things worse for everyone, Emma is a batshit crazy kid with a "save absolutely everyone everywhere" mentality, which might not end much better.
I'm not sure the plan is to free the kids at the factory farms so much as to shut them down, stopping any more such kids from being produced. They may well be too far gone to save, but that doesn't mean they have to let anyone else suffer the same fate.
True. So yeah, vegan ending I tell you.
More details on the anime. The Cloverworks rumor was true after all. The director is Kanbe Mamoru, who worked on… Elfen Lied.
Chapter out: A death squad is in pursuit of the children. Thankfully it seems they still have active allies out there.
I know it shouldn't be surprising considering what we know, but it's still weird to see SWAT-style human mooks in this series. >.>
Still, I really liked the chap. Gives us more info while ramping up the tension. I'm betting this new ally is a Demon like Sonju and Musica… hell, maybe it's actually Sonju.
Sonju and Mujica probably aren't unique in their beliefs. And the robes pictured seemed too elaborate for a human in a dangerous world.
Even Sonju could present a problem if his people disagree with Emma's mystery promise. My guesses are to either send the demons to the other side every thousand years to trim the population, or the human world should send sacrifices from the human world, like the fatally ill or capital offenders. Meanwhile, the demons should avoid reproducing and hunt only non-sentient demons.
Another possibility could be sparking civil war among the demons. Why put up with the nobles who eat succulent humans while the commoners forage cats?

Even Sonju's religion allows you to hunt humans and other sentient beings if they're common enough in the wild, and there may be others like him who would relish the chance to do so. Letting all the humans escape would disappoint him. It would be like all the pigs we wanted to eat going to another planet.
Finally posted DB Scarlet Mirror: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13689952930A49781400&page=97#2423And Musica was specfically implied to have never eaten a human before.

Huh, I was wondering how all these kids were going to come with them, I suppose the simplest answer is what they're going with.
Well, it was a good fight.
