My immediate thought is Lotus-Eater Machine.
That sure came out of nowhere… I'm a bit confused at the second to last page too. Was it Whatshisname warning Emma or someone else?
Chapter's out.
And it turns out Emma's won a trip to Disneyland! Or the demon equivalent thereof.
Sung-Joo would be exctatic if he found out about this. Now either Emma's gonna help everyone escape, or she's gonna watch everyone die horribly…
Man, this series is so messed up! XD "Free range" children for rich demons to hunt.
Not really remember The kids here are kidnapped from farms and theyre still groomed to be hunted in this town.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Still, Nameless Man seems to have had a genuine turn around.
"Free-range" children... now that's a concept hahaha.

Certainly gives the trope name much more meaning...
I'm kind of surprised how easily that happened, though. Emma has strong befriending powers, huh?
Well, she is a Shonen protagonist after all.
It was indeed slightly abrupt, though meeting these children had probably reawakened something inside him right from the start.
Now I think this would be a good time for the authors to take a week off, because Demizu seemed a bit tired in the last couple of chaps (or maybe it's just the scans' bad quality, I dunno). I wouldn't want her to be washed out prematurely − or at all.
Chapie out. At least some of these demons care about sportsmanship. Emma could take advantage of that. But man, how terrifying it must be when to be dropped into this when you were expecting a kind family… At least the other kids die painlessly before they realize anything…
…By the way, wasn't that a real practice in our world? Hunting game that was raised in captivity, I mean?
Yes. It's called a "canned hunt", and is illegal in twenty states of the U.S. Remember when Dick Cheney shot a man in the face? That was during a canned hunt.
Note that while canned hunts generally involve "game farms" most game farms do not sponsor canned hunts.
It sounds to me like that one demon is old enough to remember the times before the worlds were separated.
Time for the hunt to begin. This is gonna be great!
I love how dapper the demons look.
Great designs, theres a lot of variety here.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."How long do they live I wonder.
Anyway, I've seen people speculating the person that girl wants Emma to meet is Norman. It would make sense for him to be here.
I was wondering much the same thing, that Norman might be there. I'm not yet sure how likely I regard it though, just yet. Another possibility is a long time survivor who's managed to grow up in there.
On that note, my prediction right now is that Emma will unknowingly save Old Man No Name by killing the demon that killed all his loved ones.
Right… thanks. The Wikipedia page is quite interesting…
[…]
Some hunting groups, especially those who focus on hunters' ethics, also object to canned hunting.[6] These objections are on the grounds of "fair chase", the idea that an animal has a fair chance of escaping the hunter, and it's not too easy for the hunter to kill the animal. It is believed that canned hunts remove these elements.
…Sounds quite a bit like those nostalgic demons' mentality, eh.
The person would indeed be either Minerva or Norman, but I feel like it's a bit early to meet Minerva, so… Also, there must be someone who wrote "look inside your pen" in Emma's hand while she was sleeping.

Demon conservatives. Wheres the liberal demons telling them to treat humans humanely?
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Did they ever say whether or not the children ate meat on the farms?
While we're discussing Norman, does anybody want to reply to my theory that Leslie is in fact Norman's biological father? He may be dead by now, but they were bound to have gotten some sperm out of him first. After all, they do need some males for breeding stock, at least briefly.
This series is never predictable.
