@Daft Punch - We're on opposite boats, then. I happen to be the youngest student in my class, with an average age difference of about 2.5 years between me and the rest of my class. Fortunately, they hardly mind the issue, and I've never been derided for my age.
In general, I think being the oddball age-wise, be it older or younger than the rest, tend to have interesting effects in how you interact with others.
