Staring: Ace and the House of Spades.

The payout? 3.2 Billion from the vault at the center of the Casino! Not counting the extra 3 mil in Gold Bars they keep stashed as well!

The Casino is a multi-layered structure, with guards on every floor, a bar at the 1st floor, a lounge and show on the 2nd, slots from 3 to 5, special games on 6, and suites on floor 7. Security is on Basement Floor 1, with the floor being basement Floor 2. Thanks to recent issues with supers in Easton, the Casino splurged a little and got a 10 pack set of Orion Exo Electronic Exosuits, special deal in fact. This'll be problematic.

Once security is dealt with and out of the way, breaking through the vault will be tough, it's 5 feet of Titanium all around and the door is pressure sealed and it's 2 feet of Titanium. Stealthy options are possible but loud would work just as well. Plus Bean-bag turrets mounted in the ceiling.

What can I say? They work in Easton, supers abound. Now... who wants in on this action?

Interesting... Roken may attempt that with his invisibility, but he'll need a good reason. Maybe there's something else in there he needs. He may even team up temporarily with some other villains.

Now I kind of regret not playing as any villains. Well, there are the Belladonnas. Maybe they try to infiltrate the casino by pretending to be performers in the second floor lounge show?

On a semi-related note, I have an idea for benching Dynamo Lass by having her join the Belladonnas. Partially it's to get out from under her dad's thumb, partially it's because she genuinely likes the Belladonnas, and partially because she thinks she can keep them from doing anything too villainous. And I think having her become a villain would make her a bit more unique, because I realized that she has Striker's backstory, Jubilee's powers, and Captain America'a fashion sense.

Mostly I'm not entirely sure what to do with her, since I have Hazel and Misty to focus on. This would allow her to progress while getting her out of the game, with the possibility of her returning if I ever feel like it.

That's an interesting idea. It would bring in a lot of conflict, which is never a bad thing.

Roken may do more than just "turn invisible and sneak past." It just doesn't seem right. Roken, even though he's starting to go through a Villainous BSoD, is still wicked enough to play with his food. So, he'll more likely play some mind games. Maybe he'll do a Villain Team-Up. Maybe he'll get contacts.

What? He has to hide his eyes.

Speaking of which, once he has lost the technology keeping his structure stable, he'll be more of an Anti-Villain than anything else. He may even help out now and again.

This also reminds me, I think I'll leave Grim in the dust. I haven't used him once, and I don't plan on using him at all. Feel free to take the concept and use it as your own. I'm not bothered with him. He's too... ineffective for my tastes, so I don't mind someone else taking the reigns for him.

Okay some notes here, first off the Casino Vault holds stuff reasonable for a casino, money and such. So there are no uber special items this is a straight up heist.

Secondly the Belladonas are welcome but will have to not use their power to force everyone to sing. House of Spades is all about tried and true solutions, guns and drills always follow expected patterns, supers do not and often bring in more supers. They will have to get creative with their powers to avoid a repeat of the last heist they pulled. Which ended with sewage being tossed at them last I checked.

Now I can answer more questions about the heist.

Idea, the gang uses the Belladona's as a distraction. Make it look like it's a super thing while they quietly do their thing off to the side.

Mind, like you mentioned, supers are unpredictable, and you don't wanna, say, accidentally attract someone who's power set let them go, "Oh wait, this is bullshit!"

That could work.

Joseph (Herald of Death) might come in to stop the gang. Besides him, my characters won't really be bothered by this.

Albeit, we'd need to end this storyline with the Parasites before Umber becomes available.

Unless I used War Dragon, but she sorta stands out. Though her reactions to the Belladonnas would be over more distracting.

I could definitely see the Belladonnas as distractions. At any rate, I should probably start looking up potential selections from musical theatre.

Agreed with God of Awesome. I mean, when inter dimensional monsters are trying to consume everything, the heist would not be everyone's priority.

Maybe when Roken is defeated, he will get depowered for a time being? That way he will not stand out during heist.

Also, Sergev, Vampire, what might Mongrel's magic sight see when he looks at Fyodor or Papyrus?

Don't get poetic, Mongrel's magic sight sees things in very sterile terms.

Now, if you ever meet the boy-half of the Watcher twins, get poetic as hell.

Eisendrachen is only interested in superpowered crime, and she ain't a criminal. So.

Righto, I was planning to end this storyline pretty soon. We just need a way to get Roken and the DG to meet. After his defeat, he'll probably hide away. I'm still planning for the Parasites to be the ones that tear his technology out. This will probably make him snap. (albeit in a good way.)

Also, Rine Anok has woken up. Now, to stop confusion, all copies of Rine will be referred by their number. Unless you are making an observation that all copies share, (like their glowey white eyes) then only refer to them by their number. Rine Anok is now reserved for the original.

Dk what you meant exactly with getting poetic anyway, but he'd see that the mask has alll the magic, it'd have a slight stream of magic to Fyodor and many more to the ravens

Sorry, forgot to post for a while, I'll write up something to finish what i was doing with HS, (Because that won't look weird if you Archive Binge this thread) then maybe make a new character. Can't really think of anything to do with HS atm. New character will have something to do with luck, or low level reality warping shorthanded as luck, not sure yet.

I've been really busy myself too, mostly writing (YES! I HAVE A BOOK DEAL! Kinda. ) but I will return with a vengeance, soon.

I just realised something that I probably should have realised earlier - Is Winterbloom's accessible through the city? I was just thinking if it was a magical shop then it would be located in some kind of wibbly dimension, but I feel like Rine should meet up with Hazel, Misty and the Traveler.

Also, the absolute maximum number of copies Rine could make if he pooled everything into it (that includes the older copies matter and the stored matter they kept in the HQ) would be about 1,500. Pretty big, a nice sized army, but nothing compared to the 500,000,000 that Roken had during that time.

But Roken is running out of Parasites. They are getting killed quicker, apparently losing the will to fight. He could swear he heard some of them whispering his name. And some of them are actually leaving this dimension without his permission, deserting him.

When Roken arrived at the Easton City dimension, he had 267,945,322 Parasites.

Now, in the few days that he has been in this dimension, he has lost over half that number.

He now has only 96,438,890.

Not very good at this, is he? You try commanding an army of a mere million by yourself. It's surprisingly difficult.

Just keep fighting them. That was a total number of all Parasites. Roken splits them up into groups of 1,000 to attack each dimension. After Roken gets mauled by his own monstrous copies, they'll be lost, with no sense of direction. They'll be easy targets. A lot of them will retreat to other dimensions, leaving them outnumbered by the inhabitants.

After Roken's defeat, the Rines will start to hunt down the rest of the Parasites. They'll hunt them down in each dimension, and basically do what they do. But at least one Rine Anok will stay behind in Easton.

Winterbloom's is a normal building with a fixed location.

I just had an epiphany which could explain why the dimensional energy alters Parasites. What if without realising it, the Parasites were absorbing aspects of alternate dimensional creatures?

That would be why they are changing shape, and look different from each other. They are becoming amalgamations of different creatures from different dimensions. That's why Roken, who previously acted like a merciless monster who got off on killing things, is now taking on aspects of alternate versions of himself.

Specifically, Rine. Those random thoughts and weird out of nowhere comments are all things that Rine would think of. Clearly Roken has absorbed a large part of Rine Anok's aspects, possibly from consuming Rine's original dimension, which causes him to take on Rine's personality. Make sense?

Probably not. I thought it was a cool idea though.
