This looks like a really fun shooter. A Bullet Hell, but doesn't have to be on the lowest settings. And as a newcomer, this is very welcome.
The system seems slightly more complicated than standard shmups though. From what I can figure out, your resident Fairy Companion gets her own gun that gives you overhead fire and some protection from enemies to allow for stronger fire. Not sure how to summon her consistently though, and there's something about being able to control her separately. Also something about a Magic Gage.
Just, if I could have the mechanics explained, I'd appreciate that.
Also is there a way to set a limit on credits? I feel wrong if I just brute force my way through a shooter after two continues.
Also I'm guessing the menu just after the startup screen gives you the alternate modes, which seem separate from the in-game difficulties?
BTW, love the art style. Refreshing change from all the robots in space.
