Leah - Hallway Outside Quarters (The one with Naruko, Jack-O', Lucina, and the Ghost)

Entering the hallway after gracefully leaving the Kitchen, Leah was going to head back to the workshop to stock up a little bit more on cigarettes when she noticed a strange floating metal object hovering above a doorway, near the ceiling.

"What in the High Heavens...?" she asked herself, walking to the doorway and looking up at the strange device. Some wizard must have lost track of their orb, and now the source was just floating around. "Shoo!" she said to it, reaching up to shoo it away with her hands.

Jenny - Living Room

Jenny decided that she, too, would crowd around the newcomer. If her time in Rapture had taught her anything, it was that someone who wasn't immediately shooting at you was either a friend or holding your family hostage. She suspected that it this case, it was likely the former.

"Oh, good. You're not from the Rapture Family. Fucking cult," she said to Morrigan, nodding wisely. Looking around the room, she noticed something that gave her pause.

"How come everybody's Oriental?" she added.

Spawn - Living Room

Spawn quietly stared down Morrigan with the same unblinking eyes and the same insincere smile, at least until she taunted him, putting her hand on his stiff chest. Spawn's shoulder's visibly twitched, his eyes winced slightly. He wasn't ruling out that there would be someone out there who would like the appearance of a Hellspawn on the surface. But Morrigan was a demon herself. She had to be aware that he was a soulless, festering corpse on the inside. She had to know he had no soul to offer to her. Or did she not care?

"Morrigan, what are you... You know what, I was just going to warn everyone about your true nature, but I see you're not even bothering to hide it. So, why do you keep pretending to be a nun? Is it some kind of joke? Do you think you're going to trick people easier that way? Or do you really, honestly believe that God is going to save you if you put on a costume and play pretend?

Scott, Living Room

Trying to lay and relax, Scott eventually frowned when he realized that everyone wasn't just going to shut up and be quiet for him. He groaned slightly as he sat himself up against the edge of the couch, legs still sprawled out and turned to direct a frown at Spawn. The Canadian eyed the obviously demonic and frustratingly familiar looking man-thing. "Hey Edgy, you got a problem with what or who I do? At least Succubuses are cooler demons then... whatever you are. And speaking of costumes, you look like a Symbiote with an obsession with Hot Topic."

Of course, Scott wouldn't admit that he actually thought the guy looked cool, but he was arguing with the guy, so his lips were sealed. He sent a grin Morrigan's way, though he did glare slightly at the weird robot with his head wedged in her chest. Yeah, well he'd gotten to do that, without the clothes in the way, so ha!

Naruko

"Yeah, we've worked things out so no need to worry." Flashing Jack-O a thumbs up reminiscent of certain men in green spandex and bowl cuts, Naruko gave Lucina one final encouraging smile before having her attention be attracted to yet more people hovering outside the bedroom- this time that of a newcomer and a floating ninja puppet-esque thing resembling a rounded star with a single glowing optic. "You need something, Eyeball?" Peering at the summon/device/whatever the heck the thing was, the ninja tried to figure out if it was pure technology or worked off the principle of being powered by special energies such as Chakra.

Tucker - Kitchen

"I'm not gay!"

If Tucker was a smarter man, he would've expected Mary's response. Easily. But he was never smart when it came to interacting with women, and didn't expect such a rejection.

He sighed, and his shoulders slumped.

"You really think taking the helmet off would help?" He said, sounding kinda hurt. "I mean, I don't think it's a good idea, 'cause that Lady chick might starting shooting people any second now. The helmet's not bulletproof at all, but it might help slow bullets down, right?"

A green holographic armoured figure appeared between Tucker and Mary, and looked towards him.

"Correction: A bullet traveling at a slower velocity has a higher chance of ricocheting within the cranium, causing catastrophic damage to the brain. A higher velocity round has a better chance of causing survivable damage."

The hologram disappeared once more, and Tucker slumped further.

"...yeah. Thanks, Delta."

Morriganā€“ā€“Living Roomā€”Sacramental sister

"Not as innocent as I thought, are you?" Morrigan raised an eyebrow while looking down at Mega Man after his first question." Yes. But that must be our little secret. Mother superior's poor heart would break if she knew I've been a little...naughty."

Then she was joined by another fellow demon, Seija. Although she knew better than blindly trusting her own kind, there was nothing, save her bee stings, to make her suspect of her true intent.

"Why not both? I know I wouldn't be myself without freedom." She began to move her fist as if reciprocating Seija's gesture." "There needs to be rules, that's what makes it sooo satisfying to break them." Morrigan opened her fist at the last second so her palm would meet Seija's fist instead.

Jenny's sudden appearance quickly got her attention. The armored woman seemed threatening but her demeanor was friendly. "No, I'm just a humble nun," she said with a hint of sarcasm. The demon nodded back at her. "Oriental? You could say I come from down below."

Spawn's attempts at intimidation just got from her a smug smile. "Please, I don't have to lie. " Morrigan replied to Spawn. " You know so little of men. I only need to show them my."ā€” she looked downā€”"two friends and they would follow me to hell. They always do."

When her favorite Canadian came to her defense, the succubus smirked back at him and then she winked at Scott. "Jealous?" She taunted Spawn while still looking at Scott with a flirty gaze. Morrigan then whispered to Spawn's "ear." "Soulless or not,"ā€”she sighedā€”"such a shame you deny the pleasure of your own flesh."

Morrigan paused a little to ponder before replying to Spawn's last comment.

"God has already saved me. I'm just returning the favor. Make no mistake though, I might be in the side of light, but I'm still darkness.," she sneered back at him.

Maryā€”Kitchenā€”Flirting 101

"Yeah, I remember that shoot out at the theater. I never though I would meet a..um goat lady." Mary scratched the back of her head, quickly regretting her blunt comment to Toriel. "I might have lied about my name back then, I am Mary."

Then Susan approached and clarified she smirked. "Oh I see." She crossed her arms towards Tucker. "He might need some dating tips don't you think? ā€”Great steaks by the way. I can't remember the last time I ate something that weren't leftovers." She shrugged.

She turned back at Tucker. Rather than being annoyed, his attempts at flirting were so blatant that she felt more than anything amused . A gleeful smile could be seen in her face. The words of Jeda were still in her mind. If this strange group of people was now her new family she might as well give him a chance to get to know him better.

The goth girl seemed unfazed by Delta's sudden correction. After all, green hologram coming from nowhere was tame in comparison to flying demons and a talking goat.

"You see? We're all taking the risk. Besides it's not like you're a demon are you?"

She leaned towards the wall with her arms crossed and her right leg curved touching the wall.

"Well if it ain't the helmet, I still need to get to know you better somehow. Maybe you could invite me a drink?"

Toriel - Kitchen

After the two were introduced to her, she addressed Mary's comment, "It is all right, I understand that not many are used to my appearance." It is not likely that they will be used to her kinds varied appearance, considering her closest friends are a lizard in scientist's clothing, a spider in a dress, and a skeleton in what he calls a "battle body" that was made for a costume party.

Then, they switched the topic to Lady, the resident demon-hater. She would explain to her that she is not a "demon" but a "monster" but that would not change anything and get her threats and profanity for her troubles, at best. She had sighed and responded, "Indeed. I believe I would be one of the first to be attacked in case that happens..." She did not want to dwell on this any further than she already has, so she decided to spend the night and prepare for tomorrow. "If anyone needs me, I will be in one of the bedrooms. If not, have a good night." She had made her way to the hallway.

Living Room, Ragna, The Who-What-Hatcha-How?

Staring at Morrigan, mouth agape as she tried to say something, but found no words to describe what she thought she was seeing, Ragna looked very much the textbook example of surprise. She was caught off guard, first by the idea of a demonic nun, then by the fact that she had such a... lasciviousness about her.

("Man... what would old man Cecil think of this?")

The priest who raised her and her sisters had never really gotten to discuss matters of sexuality with them before he passed on, for up until then they were still too young. But it didn't take much imagination to picture his reaction; perhaps amusement, he was always open to a laugh, so the surreal irony of a Catholic succubus might have given him one.

Then Scott spoke up in Morrigan's defense and Rags put two and two together. Oh wow. That guy?

Then she realized that, lost in her thoughts, she'd been standing silently in front of Morrigan with her mouth hanging open for the past minute or so. She hurriedly shut it and cleared her throat. Still trying to find the right words for Morrigan's audacity, she put her hands on her hips and managed an "Uh...".

Tucker - Kitchen

"Hey, I don't flirt with just anyone!" Tucker protested, Susan's comments finally registering. "To get the Tucker experience, you gotta be hot! And not be a scary shark lady, like that Lady chick. Or Tex. Or Carolina. Or Dr. Grey."

"Correction: The women Captain Tucker has mentioned are not, in fact, part shark."

"Yeah, I think they got that. But I don't know what happened earlier. One minute, I was swish-swish-stabbing, and the next I was in the living room. Guess I had one of those snapback things."

"And hey, I don't need to be taught how to flirt! My flirting's worked, like..."

...shit. he thought, as he looked back onto his previous attempts at flirting.

"...I mean, it's worked a couple times. Like Grif's Sister! And..."

He'd been sure that wasn't his first time, but he couldn't remember when exactly he'd actually picked up a chick before that.

"Okay, maybe it's only worked once! But that's because I've only tried it..."

Dozens? Hundreds of times?

"...uh... Drinks! Yeah, I knew that! Yeah."

He started frantically scanning the room, trying to figure out where he could get drinks. What he would give for a bar right about now...

Spawn - Living Room

Spawn didn't show much reaction to taking the brunt of Scott and Morrigan's response, only really adverting his eyes when Morrigan got close to him again. He could handle a few barbs on his appearance and what may or may not have been backhanded insults from Scott, he couldn't tell (though whatever Hot Topic was supposed to be did warrant further investigation). But then Morrigan had to imply he was actually just ignoring his own carnal sensibilities the entire time, and was jealous that she wasn't giving him attention. Spawn's hands suddenly balled up into the best fists he could make with his long, misshapen fingers, but relaxed when he realized he had made a visible display of anger.

Spawn sighed and put his hand to his forehead for a moment, which would have carried his message across better if he wasn't still grinning.

"You win. Do what you want. If you're telling the truth, you'll know which side to pick when things get difficult around here."

Carmilla & Sypha, Living Room

"Yeah, she been saying that since we stumbled into each other in the hallway," Carmilla clarified to the others about Morrigan. "She is harmless enough apparently, given she's fed already and I don't see anyone dead."

"Oh, by the way, Sister Morrigan..." Carmilla began to give the demonic nun a warning. "The one who calls herself Lady does not trust any demon at all, so you might want to save your energy trying to win her over... She is liable to shoot you for trying, Sister Morrigan."

Sypha continued sitting on Carmilla's lap, remaining silent as she listened to everyone talk about Morrigan.

Lady (Bedroom)-Oh she has a robot too

Lady was left slightly speechless a a robot thing suddenly appeared, spoke to Eriana, and left. She shook it off as Eriana spoke.

"Yes, that's over with. We've left that world now on a truck that can cross universes....somehow. Don't ask, I don't know."

She paused, as she considered what she had said. She called herself a praxic warlock, whatever the hell that was. So, magic user? And of course for some reason she had a 3 on the end of her name. Codename, maybe? Might mean she's military or something.

"Gotta say, never heard of whatever the hell a praxic warlock is. I'm just going to assume "Magic using woman from the far future who also has robots" covers the basics of what I need to know?"

Leah - Hallway Outside Bedrooms

"I believe it's a wizard's source that's been left unattended," Leah said to Naruko. "They're normally not an issue if caught quickly, but they can knock over torches. You would think that for people who spend all their day training in the magical arts, they would have enough common sense to put their things in a trunk. Or at least the things that can float away."

Jenny - Living Room -> Storage Room

Jenny listened intently to the answers as the goat-lady had left the kitchen and went off to the bedrooms. She hadn't actually inspected the quarters herself, she imagined that it was probably like private passenger rooms on a train.

Just... like... a... train.

She stood up straight, turned around, and quickly walked to the back of the truck, paying no heed to whatever ridiculous antics were going on that would slow her down. Reaching the workshop, she used her Telekinesis plasmid to scoop up all the nearby cigarettes and shell casings that were littering the floor and threw them into the corner (taking care, at least, to not hit Jeda in the process), leaving the space around the printing device free. A rare smile of determination appearing on her face, she started to press buttons on the device until she was satisfied, and clicked the button to print.

A model train locomotive came out of the device and she held it in her hands cautiously as she turned it over, inspecting it. Followed by a coal hopper. And a passenger car. And many more cars. And a crate full of track, wire, control switches, and accessories. In only a few seconds, Jenny had printed out dozens of train cars of various types and plenty of tracks, and was currently sprawled casually on the floor on her stomach, propping herself up by her elbows as she grabbed at pieces of scale-model rail and started assembling a path for her trains to run on.

"Hold a moment - it may actually be one of our comrades." Lucina interjected quietly as Leah began trying to shoo the small floating object away, stepping up beside Naruko and peering upwards at Ghost. As much as it did resemble some sort arcane device, it would be unwise to make assumptions in a place such as this.

"Hello." She said politely, giving the Ghost a small bow of her head. "Are you a member of our band as well?"

Elesis (Kitchen —> Bedroom) - Oh Good, More Exposition

At long last, Elesis backed away from her plate with a satisfied sigh, no longer able to continue eating. Between the steak and the roast she was completely full, and she had barey been able to finish the former.

"That was good," she admitted, taking a few moments to stretch on her chair before she stood up. "Right, thanks for the meal Susan. If anyone needs me, I'll be in one of the bedrooms."

With that said, she picked up her sword and simply exited the kitchen, making her way to the bedrooms. She barely acknowledged the people in the living room, although she did acknowledge that everyone in the room seemed to be mostly fine. Even the guy in gray she'd seen with the girl with long ears. But she did not stop to say hi. She kept walking, entered a bedroom, and closed the door behind her with a tired sigh.

"My, my. Are you truly that exhausted?"

There was someone else in that room. A girl Elesis had never seen before, with black hair and one red eye, with the other presumably peeking from behind her bangs that covered it. She was wearing a pink dress underneat a... chef hat and a white apron, and in her eyes she held... bread?

No words and no amount of blinking could possibly describe how confused Elesis was at that time.

"Hi! My name is Polly. You are not... going to hurt me with that weapon, are you?"

"No."

"Ah, splendid! Then, would you mind if I asked you what this place is and why we are here?"

...and she needed an explanation as well. Excellent.

"Sure," Elesis replied, sighing again. "You might wanna go to the bathroom first. It's a long story."

"I am fine."

And so the long, tedious explanation began.

Quarters [Lady]

Eriana snorted, a sound which echoed strangely through the barest of audio processing her suit undertook when broadcasting her voice aloud. "The word 'robot' is beneath us. The word 'magic' is... imprecise."

She upturned her left hand once more, but this time snapped her fingers. When she did, a ball of fire flared to life hovering just above it. "I channel the Light of the Traveler, which can certainly be called magic of a sort if one does not care about accuracy beyond a certain threshold, but mostly I just use it to burn things and blow them up. That should just about cover the basics, yep."

Eriana furrowed her brow a moment, an action obscured by her opaque black faceplate. "Speaking of imprecise terminology, what 'demons' do you hunt?"

Quarters [Naruko, Lucina, Jack-O', Leah]

Before any of her subjects noticed her, Ghost was accosted by a new arrival from down the hall. She drifted up out of Leah's reach while her triangular points flared out in indignation. "Pardon?" This attracted the attention of the others in the room. The girl in orange inspected Ghost first, calling her an 'eyeball'.

"I'm a Ghost, actually." Ghost responded to Naruko, before the new arrival spoke again. Her points retracted back around her spherical core, and narrowed around her eye at the speaker. "I would appreciate not being identified with wizards, thank you." She then turned to the humanoid with the ear-constructs, her tone immediately becoming much more cheerful. "Thank you for considering the possibility," Ghost said to Lucina, with a note of relief in her voice. "I assist Eriana, who I believe our captor intends to work with you all. I'm just having a look around, no need to fuss!"

Leah - Hallway Outside Bedrooms

"Yes, well... carry on, then," Leah replied to the Ghost. She walked away towards the other bedrooms, carefully cracking open the door of one she had noticed was closed earlier. The person inside certainly seemed to be who Reimu was talking about. She carefully knocked on the door.

"Excuse me.... Tali?" she said, not quite sure if it would be more rude to wake her up, or to simply carry on with the Incident Resolver's room plan without pause.

Tali, depsite her weariness, was having trouble falling asleep. That, she imagined, tended to happen when you were given lots of time alone to ponder just how far away you were from everyone in your entire universe. She sat up slowly with a sigh upon hearing the question. Now what?

"G-g-g-ghost?!" Hearing the words and instantly thinking of the more supernatural boogeymans that scared her so, the normally fearless ninja jumped up towards the roof with a single bound and stuck to it as though she was lying on a bed, back glued to the frame even as her eyes were glued on the floating technological marvel before calming down somewhat. "Y-you aren't here to try to haunt the place or possess someone's body right?" Thoughts blurring around and wondering if there was a spirit of the dead driving the chassis around like a vehicle, the blonde's teeth were now chattering like crazy. "I-I'm not scared of you!" Leah - Hallway Outside Tali's Room

"Hello there, I hope I didn't wake you," Leah said to Tali, taking a step forward to stand in the doorway. She cast a glance around the room, seeing a pair of bunk-beds, one on either side, and manufactured with fare more precision than any she had seen back home. Four bunks, four people, she mentally confirmed that Reimu's math had worked out. The closet and the dresser didn't seem particularly extravagant; she was certain that if she had packed a change of clothes she might actually worry about having enough storage space, but as she only had what was on her person, the only space she needed to use was the area taken up by one of the mattresses.

"I'm afraid we haven't been properly introduced yet. I'm Leah. Reimu mentioned that we would be sharing quarters with her and the woman who calls herself Lady. I thought it would be best to greet you first, so that you didn't wake up to see a stranger in the bed next to you."

She realized that while she didn't care too much for closet space, it would be rather convenient if she put an ashtray on the dresser before going to sleep. She reached for a cigarette and put it to her mouth, but recalling Lady's warnings, she held off on lighting it and asked "Mind if I smoke?".

Tali'Zorah - Sleeping Quarters

Tali frowned behind her visor, silver eyes narrowing. Other races have perfectly good lungs. I will never understand why they insist on ruining them. There are easier ways of wrecking your body through chemicals that don't eat you alive from the inside out. But outwardly, she merely shrugged."My filters can handle a little smoke, but the other people you're talking about might mind. And no, you're not bothering me any more than this whole situation is. Nice to meet you." As per the norm, the pleasantry was devoid of enthusiasm.

"Just call me Tali." A spark of interest. "Thanks for the warning. It's no problem if you want to share quarters." Not with a good alarm and sentry system, anyway. Speaking of that... "Just don't get too close during the night or you'll set off proximity alarms and make your roommates very unhappy. They're probably just as tired as I am."

She glanced over the other woman. No, this is another new arrival. Does she...no, that's just stupid. Why would she want to hear you moan about your problems when she has the exact same issues? You're tired. Go to sleep.

And yet, she remained sitting up.

"If you don't mind my asking, were things...bad...in your home universe when you were taken?"

Leah - Bedroom

"Oh, the others don't mind, Lady just wasn't sure if your plate mail was enchanted against smoke," Leah said, taking the opportunity to light her cigarette with her finger and moving to the bed on the other side of the room from Tali, so that she could face her when she sat down.

"As for your question..." she started, taking a moment to pause and think as she inhaled. Neither her world's history, nor her own were particularly pleasant, but she supposed it might be easier to make friends with others if they knew where she came from. Especially if whoever summoned them insisted on keeping them around for an extended period of time. "I suppose things are better now than they were. But for a while the world was facing its darkest hours. It all started a few centuries ago, with the Dark Exile. The three prime evils of Hell came to Sanctuary and caused all manner of trouble until they were imprisoned. But then about two decades ago, Al'Diabalos, the Lord of Terror broke free. The world was caught unaware, and even in a weakened state, Diablo managed to bring forth his minions from Hell and free his brothers. Through tremendous effort, my father defeated Diablo and sealed him away, though he made the ultimate sacrifice to do so."

She took another draft from her cigarette as she continued. "Some time after that, Dul'Mephistos, the Lord of Hatred, and Tor'Baalos, the Lord of Destruction, were similarly defeated and sealed away. We had an era of relative peace until recent years, where Azmodan and Belial, the remaining Great Evils amassed their Demon legion and marched upon Sanctuary. My companions and I managed to defeat them, though they had already laid waste to much of Caldeum. We were betrayed, however, by a witch who was assisting us, and she used all of the Demon souls we had trapped in a magical object known as the Black Soulstone to summon Diablo into... well, into being. I was able to slay him and destroy most of his soul, but there was residual power remaining in the Black Soulstone from the seven evils trapped inside."

She decided to gloss over certain details, both for being able to explain things quickly, but also because she didn't feel comfortable discussing her entire genealogy with someone she didn't know so well. "After that, with the leading forced of the Bunring Hells defeated, we had a brief period of peace until a fallen Angel, the Reaper of Souls, absorbed the remaining power of the Black Soulstone in order to become the embodiment of death in an attempt to eliminate all mortals, but fortunately his skull wasn't impervious to crossbow bolts. So all things considered, things are relatively peaceful now. What world do you come from? Have the demons conquered everything and poisoned the air, if it requires you to wear armor that completely encloses you?"

Susan, Another Place
It was probably fair to just leave Tucker to try and flail around to impress this young goth girl, because even if she had lifetime's worth of experiences with this kind of thing she didn't really want to deal with romance in the middle of an interdimensional trip to another world.

There's only a few minor benefits to having a human body, and getting tired is not one of them. She could feel the weight of her eyelids increasing, so now was a good time to excuse herself and head on over to bed, maybe talk to someone along the way.

She passed through the rooms, and came across Jenny, a grown-ass woman and a genetically modified berserker who apparently killed people in an underwater hell city for a living, playing with a model train set on the floor like she was a five year old girl.

...

Susan immediately turned away, and said "Goodnight, Jennifer!"

So, talking was out of the question. She decided to just hit the hay. Retreating to a corner of the van that for all she knew was deserted and would remain so in the morning, she concentrated and opened the way back home.

In the blink of an eye, a hole opened in mid-air, as tall as she was. It was dark on the inside, with no hint to what lay beyond besides the thick odor of blood and meat, emanating from within. It was a pretty nice smell in her opinion.

Once inside, Susan promptly got on the lightly pulsating ground and curled up, laying her head on her hands. The hole closed behind her, the dim fog of her heaven rolled in and enveloped her in its embrace, and Susan slept like a baby like she had for countless years before.

Seija, Living Room (and makeshift bedroom)
In the midst of all of this important discussion and people giving vague threats to each other, Seija had straight-up passed out on the couch. It was pretty dang comfortable, just nice enough to where she didn't feel like having to sleep upside down in mid-air like usual.

She was now loudly snoring. What kind of things do amanojaku dream about? I'm not sure we'll find out but it must be interesting.

Morriganā€”Living room.

"I love danger," the succubus replied to Spawn. " The real question is, will you be lucky enough to be on my side?"

Then the Vampire ladies weighted in. "Well that sums it up,' Morrigan said after Carmilla spoke explained the situation ."Except...Who said I'm harmless?"She smirked. Then when she warned her about Lady she said with her arms crossed. "I wouldn't mind teaching her some tough love to this "Lady." It's been a long time since I had a decent challeng . "

The looks of the others' like Ragna, didn't go unnoticed, she pushed her chest outwards in an attempt to flaunt. "What? Its like you had never seen a stunning nun before."

Mary-Kitchen-Better late than never.

"Well, I'm flattered," the teenager said her arms crossed and a smug smile towards Tucker. After he called her hot, his comment on shark ladies caught her attention. "But don't tell you like boring women, do you? Dating is all about the risk. Getting bitten now and then isn't so bad, you know?"

When Tucker explained his surprise at appearing there, she sighed. "Yeah I know the feeling. First a crazy old guy and then I was sleeping on a bench in a park. Suddenly I'm in the middle of a war zone with a priest and a super-soldier."

When Susan left, to sleep she waved goodbye to the literal human cook. Perhaps later would she be able to congratulate her for a well made dish...

"One-liners are nice for a quick laugh, but if you want something closer you need to show your true face, and I don't mean removing your helmet."

Meanwhile, while Tucker was looking for some drinks, she approached Tucker from behind, touching the back of his metal armor. The sound of clanking glass could be heard from behind.

"Fancy some beer?" Mary showed him two bottles, of Corona beer she was holding on each hand . They were just cold enough the glass itself was fogged, sweating drops of water.

" I probably shouldn't, specially this late. But this can be our little secret," she winked at him. Mary leaned at the wall next to him with her arms behind her back. The goth teenager handed offered one of the bottles and then she said, "So you're a captain, uh?"

Carmilla & Sypha, Living Room

"Hey, your funeral," Carmilla shrugged at Morrigan's comment about showing some tough love to Lady. "You want to bunk together? I mean succubi and vampires are pretty close kin so we are almost like sisters compared to everyone else here."

"Besides, I want some backup in case Lady goes on a genocidal rampage against our kind," Carmilla added to her reasoning. "I do not quite trust her to not try to kill me and Sypha while we slumber."

As Morrigan responded to Ragna's look of stunned disbelief, Carmilla weighed in on everyone else's opinion. "I think everyone is more stunned at a succubus who has somehow become a Catholic nun... Even I am a bit stunned, and I am a vampire who is also a vampire hunter."

"It is a surprising choice of profession given your kind," Sypha spoke up adding her own comments, unaware of the irony tinged in them. "It would be like a witch working with the Church."
