Did you happen to assume what the trope was based on the name rather than reading the description? Because I don't see how that suggestion illustrates the trope at all.
The current certainly isn't great, but one can sort of infer that the weird-looking shadowy dude is some sort of creature of negative emotion. It's better than nothing and better than the suggestion in my opinion.

, it's illustrating the name but not the actual trope. The person saying it is confronting an external threat rather than the internal threat the statement is meant to defy.
Yeah, if there's misuse (and I'd be surprised if there weren't) it needs to go to TRS.
Oh, I and apparently others mistook this trope for Not Afraid of You Anymore.
Come to think of it, I don't think the suggestion is good for Not Afraid of You Anymore either because the dimensions probably just wouldn't work at wiki size.
