So this listing is just a list of individual releases of individual movies? Yep, I can't think that such a list should contain more than key details.
Well, some of the entries also describe box sets or 2-Movie Collections or TV shows' compilations. For the lattermost, the numbers and/or names of the episodes included also sounds like a key detail.

Yeah, the box sets. About that, I was just detailing what is in a box set. I was definitely not going to include every single bonus something has; I could, but I'd be there all day.
At the worst, we can just detail any trailers/logos, and that's it.
Well, whenever I saw an incomplete bonus features list on one of these pages, I wondered, "Why did the troper highlight those extras?" Leaving the lists off wouldn't create this appearance of inequality.
I also struggle to see why exactly the logos and trailers seem so important, aside from sentimental value that not all tropers might have.

In case one's curious as to what's on the tape/disc.
I have trouble imagining a lot of people wanting to go to TV Tropes to learn what commercials appeared on old tapes.

I do it for fun and to keep myself occupied, anyway.
Does keeping that info on the movies' Trivia pages sound like a good compromise?
Okay, so I looked at one of those pages. The shrunken text is probably against formatting guidelines. I would replace all the [--note:--] with just --> for starters.
You can put a list of all the products advertised on a tape in a labelnote. Just a list with no details should be fine.

Sure. Go ahead.
OK, i've done something different, but this will take a while. Nobody's really made it a move to really revamp that page until now, and I've worked on it for over a year, so
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WaltDisneyHomeVideo/WaltDisneyClassics
Robin Hood only; haven't dealt with the others yet.
One of the things about being an editor here: I could use a second helping hand to figure out what and where to edit.
I will say this; it's more pleasing to the eye.
You know, one of the things I realized is that some rather neat trivia is available, such as how The Black Cauldron trailer on the 1985 Pinocchio Classics VHS contains some of the frames that Jeffrey Katzenberg cut from the film; those frames have barely been seen at all since, and some of the entries are prime for Keep Circulating the Tapes.
Each video release could be considered its own unique cut of the film on it as well.
Oh, one more thing: When I first found that page, the Note \\ deal was the original arrangement, so I just ran with it.
If two home video releases present the same movie in the same aspect ratio, with the same running time, and no tweaks to the animation or audio, how would they count as two separate cuts?
I did change the headings on the main release page to just refer to the decades of the video releases, though I did add a Discovision prefix for the 80's.
There are some exceptions. I could mention if a cut is reused.
I am also considering everything on a tape, not just the movie. That's logo placement and all. The one thing I'm not counting is the "Screen of Death" at the end of a tape.
Okay, so how is it. Need any advice. I'm waiting to hear what to do next.
Oh, yeah, one other reason I created those pages was due to Disney's long obsession with the Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition. Their home/new media department runs on that trope like Sonic the Hedgehog.
Well, not as hard anymore, apparently - discounting Target's exclusive and now-out-of-print Frozen combo pack, no Disney Animated Canon Blu-ray has included a bonus disc since 2010.

I think it looks a fair bit better. But keep in mind, the --> I suggested is a rough compromise. It is probably still not standard formatting, but more legible, and these are not exactly normal pages anyway.
jameygamer, do you still remember my suggestion to give each Walt Disney Treasures DVD its own entry? If so, does it sound worth carrying out?
In response to some claims that the subpages of Creator.Walt Disney Home Video run too long, I'd like to admit wondering if I should trim each release's entry to just the most important facts. For me, these include:
Information about opening previews, logos, and extra features all sounds like something I could just consult other websites for (hopefully ones that deliver that information in a more comprehensive and accurate manner than this one does...). Does this sound like a good plan?
