Frowning as her gem sensing powers came back with nothing, the cautious girl frowned for a moment before huffing and opening her eyes. "I feel nothing in the surrounding areas pertaining to any sort of jewelry so there might be a larger than average chance that this locale is abandoned. Still, nothing's certain." Readjusting her machete on her belt so that it was ready to be used in case of any surprises, the girl began to move upstairs. "Let's explore for a bit, Eisen. This place is a tad suspicious." Even though she was wary, an inner part of the girl was thrumming with an adventurer's spirit, hopeful there were souvenirs to be taken home.
Eisen's motive was similar- to explore the mansion. The reason was different. For Eisen, finding wifi was... very important, to say the least. And besides, she did notice out of the corner of her eyes that a good few people had went upstairs too. Might as well socialize... or attempt to, instead of playing her game.
The Chinese girl shrugs and follows after Tamaki as she closes her eyes and smiles. "I think we should explore too. I still haven't found any wifi around here yet, maybe there would be some upstairs..."
...ehehAda, having noticed nothing unusual in the room she was in (?), decides to move up to the third floor on a whim.

"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Daydre and Erika also find themselves in the game room that Emily has just entered.
having a little trouble keeping up on my end of things, bear with me if i miss your actions.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]"Discovered a new room, Miss Sturmwind?", asked Mikaela, having caught up with Emily.
"..Pool? hm.." Daydre mutters, half to himself again. He gives a small wave to Mikaela and goes to examine the portrait of the man.
off the shitsThe man in the painting has an air of confidence about him. he is nicely dressed, suit with coat tails, finely waxed mustache, and monocle adding to his persona. a small plaque on the frame reads: “Mr. Eric Von Stiltsworth"
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Nina sighed, then she walked towards the noise, entering the Game Room soon after.
"Well, this is a surprise.", she exclaimed, looking around.
Hm... Maybe this is the owner of this place? He's kinda dressed like the monopoly man... As he thinks, Daydre tilts his head slightly to the side. ... Unless the owner of the mansion just liked this random picture... And felt like putting a plaque on it... Or he's a relative... As he continues to think, his head tilts further to the side. He doesn't seem aware that he's doing this.

off the shitsErika takes a look at the picture along with Daydre, not tilting her head though as her right hand goes to her chin, wondering about who the person in the portrait is, whether it is the master or merely a good friend. She then notices Daydre's head tilting a fair bit, before proceeding to tilt her head in that direction as best as she can as well, wondering if there was something in this different perspective. "Found something interesting, Daydre?" She inquired, curious to see if Daydre found something she did not find herself.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by Edveed"Hm?" Daydre quickly reverts his head back to its original position to look at Erika. "Oh, no. Just wondering who this guy is..."
off the shitsAda enters the Game Room, and scans the room with her eyes. Brings back memories, heh. Redding was a nice place to visit. I wonder who that dapper fella is... She walks over to the rack and grabs a pool stick and a dart, just in case. She furtively slips the dart into her coat pocket and holds the stick in the hand not holding her blankets.
"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Emily turns around to face the new people. "Who the hell are you?"
The measure of a man is not his courage, but rather the size of his gun."I've come across these people before, Miss Sturmwind.", Mikaela explains, "They are no threat."
She then spots Erika. Mikaela's stance firms a bit as she stares and slowly says, "... And who and what might you be?"

"We met, like, twenty minutes ago? Wasn't your name Emily?" Daydre responds to Emily, his tone slightly questioning. Upon noticing Mikaela's stance change, he adds, ".. I don't think she's a threat..."
off the shitsErika emits a hiss, slithering away from the newcomers, not too thrilled with the fact she was being met with a fairly cold reception, though given the circumstances, it would be understandable to not necessarily trust someone who was just met. "To answer your question, girls..." Erika begun answering Emily and Mikaela. "...I am Erika, though for the 'what' part of the question... I am afraid I'm not really comfortable just telling everything about myself." As far as answers went for Erika, she was not going to blatantly lie and look like a fiendish monster, but it is clear that Erika is not particularly willing to answer the question completely and fully.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by Edveed"Very well," said Mikaela, loosening up a bit, "Just know, Erika, that the Sturmwinds are under my protection and I will not let my guard down until there are no viable threats. But, trust can't be built with suspicion, so I greet you with the hope of friendship. I'm Mikaela." She comes a bit closer, leaning down on one knee and extending an armored hand out.
Erika looks at Mikaela offer an armored hand, looking at it for a second before gently shaking the hand of Mikaela. "I do apologize on the lack of trust at first... it's... a long story I think I can save for another time..." She mentions, before releasing the armored hand and emitting a slight hiss of a sigh. She then would open up a journal and jot down another name and description of a new individual upon another page, possibly to make sure she does not forget the name and the face. "Boy, I don't regret taking the journal and pen along..." She mentions to herself, before closing the journal in short order.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedJoanna is still drawing in the bushes.
...
She decides to stop drawing, the details of the unfinished face she'd put on paper drawing from a plethora of those she'd drawn before. She scratches her head. She stares into the sky. The sun looms a ways over the horizon and beams at her like a watchful eye.
She wishes that wasn't as close to the truth as it really was. Everything she does, most everything she thinks, they'll see. Maybe not at the moment, but they'll see it eventually. Frankly, she didn't quite understand the mechanics, no matter how many times they tried explaining it, but the same mostly went for any sort of crap they handed her. That's not to say she was never interested in knowing, but the interest sort of...faded over time.
Since she still had quite a while to wait, she flips up the page. However, she didn't expect...to put it circuitously, a sea of regret on what was supposed to be a blank sheet of paper.
...well, they'd seen it already. Probably. Most likely. She flips the page once more crap there's another one.
"Understandable, Erika.", Mikaela says, standing up again, "I myself should apologize, I just have had... Unpleasant experiences with beings of a similar appearance as yours."
Erika nodded, looking at Mikaela with a look that has basically read that she understood. "I suppose it is quite understandable why I wasn't exactly trusted... not a lot of people are too fond of snakes, at least from personal knowledge. Nonetheless, I do accept the apology, and will do my best to not be unpleasant." With that, she relaxes a fair bit, believing the potentially dangerous situation has been averted.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by Edveed"So, it would seem that no one within this proximity has shown an violent intentions.", Mikaela pondered aloud, "But I should not get too careless. The next person we meet may not be as amicable as the others."
Joanna gets a weird twitch.
"..."
She brushes it off as nothing and continues drawing.
Ada has been staring out the window for a few minutes, deep in thought. Pine trees... I haven't seen trees like this in a while. The last time was... yeah, no. There's no swank mansion surrounded by pines in my hometown, that I can remember. Though, I never go outside much. Maybe it's there, and I just never knew about it.
But that doesn't explain how I got here. I can't imagine someone would want to break into my house and do nothing with me but plant me in the middle of the woods... and what about all the weird people I've come across since I got here? It's like I've walked into a cheesy anime.
Persons outside (i.e. Jo) may notice a slender figure standing at once of the windows.
On hearing Mikaela, Ada snaps out of it and turns around. "Keh? Oh, uh, right. No ill intent here."

*And now, the unanswered question that nobody gives an actual shit about. Where did Deltora-chan go? Well, as it turns out, she's continued wandering around aimlessly, exploring the mansion. Soon enough, however, she catches onto the fact that she herself has no damn clue where she is, causing her to stop and start looking around the immediate area, hoping silently that there might be some sort of indoor landmark, or at least some way to find out where she's gone.*
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.
