As Erika was about to enter the next room, her perception check rolled a natural one, and with being unaware, collision occurred with Daydre, and a bit of a hiss was had as she darted back instinctively. "What the?" She hissed, coiling up, before realizing it was probably a very bad idea to assume the worst, remaining coiled, but not prepared to strike as her hair was slightly messed about.
" Yeah, I used to be a girl," Aquarius responded. " And I miss my family too..."
He shook his head. " We should probably change the topic now, though. So, um... how does this place look?"
Kit scratches her head. "Well...it looks like a mansion I guess. It's nicer than any place I've ever stayed. Maybe I should check one of these rooms."
"No.", Nina replied, holding the dagger to her covered eye and pushing.
"H-huh? Oh, I'm sorry!" Daydre backs up. He takes notice of Erika's snake features, but again doesn't seem as surprised as some would expect. "I must've spaced out there..."

off the shits"Ssspaced out?" She asks, looking carefully at Daydre as she remains coiled up like a garden hose on a wheel. "...now that is something I don't hear too often from people that bump into me." She admits, a look of amusement upon her face as she holds the journal and pen close to her own chest. "I'm even surprised at how you are not freaking out about my serpentine shape and all... but anyways..." She looked to be about ready to continue talking, but she has basically stopped speaking suddenly, trying to choose her next words wisely, before inquiring: "...where were you headed?" She paused for a moment, before adding in a couple more words with a blush. "...besides a collision course into me, that is."
"Hm? Why not?" Daydre really doesn't seem to realize why that would be. He scratches the back of his head in a mildly sheepish manner. ".. And why would I freak out? I don't think we've ever had a snerson at the shop before.. Wait, I'm supposed to keep that a secret aren't I? Oh no, not to people who're in on it... Whoops." Clearing his throat nervously, he continues on.
"Anyway... Er, nowhere in particular."
off the shits"... What are you doing?"
"What does it look like?"
"Like you're shoving the dagger in your eye.", she says, growing a little concerned.
"Yep.", Nina answered as she shoved the dagger into her eyepiece, though it rather looked as if she slowly shoved it into her eye.
"Hm... Do you even have an eye under there?", asked Mikaela.
Emily puts her hand on the doorknob and enters the room. With a low whistle, she takes walks to the center of the room and takes in her surroundings.
The measure of a man is not his courage, but rather the size of his gun."Yes"
With a small smile, Nina moves her hand down after meeting her eyepiece, revealing her eye - undamaged. Her grin widening, she says, "Well, try again. Discerning my ability, that is."
"... Absorption? Alchemy? Teleportation?", she guessed?
"Warmer, warmer, cold", Nina replied, turning around. "We won't achieve anything just standing here and I think your clients are getting bored."
The room Emily enters into is lit by a central light over the pool table in the center fairly well, but the room itself is low lit. a phonograph sits in the corner along with a small record collection, and a tall table and chair occupy the other corner. a dartboard rests comfortably on the wall. above the table hangs a painting of a nicely dressed gentleman. next to it is a rack filled with pool sticks, chalk, and the billiards balls.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Mikaela looks over to where Emily walked. "Ah, right. I should go attend to them.", she said, starting to follow again.
Erika tilted her head at Daydre, curious. "Nowhere in particular I see? Hmm..." She goes to be a bit into thought, thinking about something before nodding. "...admittedly, as shameful as it is, I don't have a particular destination in mind either... so..." She hesitates, being without words for now, like playing chess into a situation of stalemate.
"I probably should've thought of a plan when I came in here.." Daydre muses, half to himself.".. Explore more? I dunno.."
off the shitsErika looks at Daydre for a moment, before nodding. "I suppose we should both explore this place a little more." With that, she finally uncoils, giving a bit of a stretch, before preparing to move. "Lead the way then, mysterious person."
"D-daydre. My name is Daydre." There's still that slight hesitation as he says his name, but it's more.. relaxed than before. Not that Erika would know that, but eh, whatever. it's worth noting. "Yeah, uhm, sure..." He heads towards the west side this time.
off the shitsErika nods. "Understood, Daydre. Erika's my name, if you were wondering." She introduced herself, emitting a slight hiss as she followed Daydre, proceeding to jot down a note in her journal, presumably to keep track of a name most likely. However, she does not bump into Daydre, probably out of the fact she quickly jotted down what she wanted to remember in the journal.
"Nice to meet you..." Daydre enters the room Nina, Alexa, and co. didn't go into.

Daydre exits the room he entered. Maybe I could stay here for a while?... Hm... He might bump into Erika. This is meant in the most literal sense, since he's gotten lost in thought now.
