Heh....
Aww....
You know what? From this point on, I'm going to imagine Link was shitting bombs on people. It's funnier.
One Strip! One Strip!"NOT COOL, LINK, I JUST WASHED THAT CAR."
i. hear. a. sound.Man, combat is going to be a blast in this game. So many interesting systems working together to create amazing emergent scenarios.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSeriously, this really does remind me of MGSV in terms of how many different ways one can approach the combat.
I'm going to spend a ton of time playing around with this combat system. And by that I mean I'm going to just glide around and bomb the everloving shit out of everything.
I love how like half of what they've shown so far all indicates that Link is probably going to end up causing more damage to Hyrule than Ganon ever did.

Reaction Image RepositorySo many combat options, but I'm guessing I'm just going to run thoughtlessly into every battle and start hacking away

...Is it wrong that I'm just going to go into it with a sword, shield, bow and likely never change?
This song needs more love.Yes.
i. hear. a. sound.I think that while I'll try to remember to be creative, I'll likely end up just getting all stabbity with my trusty blade.
Still, it's gonna be good times. Good good times.
One Strip! One Strip!GameXplain's analysis of all Breath of the Wild footage will be out tomorrow at 6 am PDT.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."It's...two hours.....No.
I'm sure it's cool, but that's too long. I won't do it.
<already knows he's probably break down and do it sometime later>
One Strip! One Strip!I have some things I need to do first but I'll watch it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm almost at 1 hour 30 minutes part(or little past it as writing)
So I've watched the whole thing (thank god for 2x speed). The first half or so is devoted to all of the gameplay features we've so far, and there's nothing too surprising if you've been following the game closely, but they caught some small details that even I hadn't noticed yet, such as the temperature gauge freezing over when Link freezes.
I found the latter part of the video to be much more interesting, where they piece together the world map using all the available footage, including from much earlier videos, and there are some pretty sharp-eyed observations that tie all of the landmarks together.
I liked the latter part as well.
I also agreed with their speculation on where it fits into the timeline.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureWhere in the video can I find the world map and timeline stuff?
Oh God! Natural light! It starts from around the 1:18:30 mark. The last 20 or so minutes are about timeline speculations, the rest is all trying to map the towers and other landmarks.

Watched the entire video. Hoo boy.
The mapping out of everything was impressive and I also agree with their placement in the timeline (Downfall timeline before LttP).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Wow, that video was amazing. I was interested enough for the first hour and 20 minutes, but the last third absolutely blew my mind. The way he was using little parts of the large pool of footage we have to figure out the backsides of mountains and places we don't know much about was amazing. He pretty much put the entire world map together.
Wow. Gamexplain never disappoint, and they really outdid themselves this time. That map analysis was incredible and will give us stuff to talk about for a long while I think
My big worry for the game is that with breakable weapons it'll get frustrating as you're constantly running low on good weapons.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonGame Xplain has uploaded the map part of the analysis video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBo2Z_Gv0Io
This was the part that absolutely blew my mind. figuring out where every resurrection tower and many major landmarks in the game are using different footage to triangulate positions. That world looks so fun to explore. There are definitely areas we don't know anything about, though. I wonder what's in the northern region and along the east coast?
Finally got around to watching the whole thing, and yeah, that's pretty impressive. I know we got a lot of footage, but the amount of information they got out of it was surprising.
As far as the timeline goes, I actually kinda like the "It's the Ocarina of Time Link from the Defeat timeline" idea, and as far as I can remember, the only real strike against it is Link's right-handedness, which is honestly not that big of a deal. Especially since in the original game he had an Ambidextrous Sprite anyway.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat is a very cool theory, but it begs the question of where in the defeat timeline it takes place...
Oh God! Natural light!
Welp, there's something you can't do in GTA, Elder Scrolls, or The Witcher.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
