The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (contains spoilers)

It's a shame the Champion's Ballad came out so late long after everyone stopped caring about Breath of the Wild, because it means not enough people can appreciate how sweet Link looks in the Phantom Ganon armor.

Literally no one has stopped caring about BOTW

Against Guardians of all stripes, Go for the Eye. You cannot believe how much easier fighting those things are when you both interrupt their attack chargeup and stun them, even if it's for just a second. It's more than enough time to close the gap and/or break off a leg or two (thereby stunning them further). Sure, the turrets and the sentries don't have breakable legs for further stun, but even they are exponentially easier to deal with when you start shooting arrows in their eye.

I'm just glad all that practice getting headshots on bokoblins paid off.

Aonuma, in an interview with Famitsu, said work on this game is finished.

No more DLC it looks like.

The Death Mountain stealth section fucking sucks.

Or ancient arrows. And be sure to aim for eyes.

Kill some guardians, and make sure you have no bows below "Royal" level.

Crates are their greatest weakness.

The Death Mountain guardians die in one hit if you bump them with a metal box using Magnesis.

Ancient Arrows.

Those things that cost hundreds of rupees and ancient material I need to get an armour set.

That I couldn't possibly have known to bring because none of the other Beasts had stupid stealth sections before them.

Maybe if I have to use a roundabout gameplay trick it's a big pile of bullshit instead.

You're supposed to use Magnesis, that's why there are metal boxes all over everywhere.

Reading Mipha's diary sucked.

I just bludgeoned a Moblin to death with a Magnesis'd crate and that's probably the most fun I've had with this entire game.

The music for the Goron Divine Beast is really good.

EDIT: Oh good. More stealth. Now against guys I've been splattering over the pavement all game, but now are invincible.

I dunno by the time I got to death mountain and Yiga Clan I was swimming in money. You HAVE been mining gems, killing hinoxes and killing Taluses, right? Mark them on your map and start doing laps when the Blood Moon comes calling

Bad habit of mine. My approach to any game is usually "farm money, buy victory".

My personal favorite move with crates is to pull an Anvil on Head on enemies. I typically quote Bugs Bunny while I do it. Ain't I a stinker?

Is Rank 3 Guardian Armor + Legs plus the Diamond Circlet good enough endgame gear?

Champion gear gets you more defense and shows enemy hitpoints. No enemy stealth attacks.

The Ancient gear does give you more defense against guardian lasers though.

If you wear the helm, you also get more damage from Ancient weapons. Chew through enemies with ancient battleax ++

There's like a ten-point defense difference between ranks three and four. Getting the final rank is 1000% worth the time it takes.

In addition to chasing fallen stars you can also occasionally get stars from Lynels. I got one from a silver.

I don't think I have the patience to grind rupees to get the last Great Fairy so I'll manage I guess.

Right now I'm just trying to farm Guardians for Cores but none of them want to drop.

My preferred weapon for Guardians is the Master Sword, because bows just don't deal the needed damage to take them down, even as eye-shots. Unless it's a Savage Lynel bow, but those things are not easy to collect.

Usually what I do is Urbosa's Fury and then whack them to death with the Master Sword.

Most of the Royal bows I find deal considerable damage. Usually I stun them with archery and move in for the kill with the MS.

Also, farm money by selling bugs, crabs, meat, and salt. Most other things you need for upgrades.

Gems are the best way to get money. Remember to check in with the Gerudo in Goron City to see what she'll buy from you, she gives better prices than the shops.
