Whoops, misremembered. And now that I've looked it up, no he doesn't have an invincibility moment.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpMy Wii U doesn't have enough room for the new DLC and until I install it the older DLC is locked out :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Idle curiosity question a quick web search doesn't seem to answer.
With the orb quest for the Urbosa plot, are the guards still the one-hit killers from the first time at the hideout?
I didn't bother to check, just finished the quest and got the shrine, but the thought did cross my mind.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpThey were never one hit killers. Only if you were low level and had terrible armor.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI'm pretty sure that when you're infiltrating the base for the first time you fail the stealth section if they hit you once, regardless of armor.
Reaction Image RepositoryI recall the guards being nerfed somehow, but they were still very much a horde of insta-kill goons once detected when I played, even if you had some heavy armor.
They are absolutely still instakills.
Rabbid Luigi's playthrough has his max heart Link shut down in one blow (technically several, but Daruk's protection does block them. Mipha's Grace won't revive you, though).
So yeah. Don't charge into the Yiga clan den.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I speak from experience that you can get past the first part of the Yiga Hideout if you charge in, because you can manage aggro enough with the comparatively few Blademasters in the very first part if you're good at spacing and dodging (it helps too if you bust out the shock arrows - their blades are one-hit kills, but their ranged attacks aren't). That said, the main room is nigh impossible if you charge in - way too many Blademasters from multiple directions and not enough room to dodge them all.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.it's only impossible if you believe it is
i cared not for what other people thought was impossible.
i charged right in, blade in hand, and promptly got my ass kicked.
but eventually after getting my ass kicked a ton I did manage to charge in and defeat the yiga clan without stealth since i knew that's what the game wanted me to do. it just took a lot of bomb arrows.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI'd use void arrows. I can't remember their proper name, but they suck the target into a dark scary void so I call them void arrows.
They're fucking expensive though, and I have to surrender precious arrows to get them.
Ooh, let's make a list of exploits.
Item 1: arrows can be farmed in the region above Zora domain. There are a LOT of blue lizals up there with five arrows. There's also a place with a low-level lynel and lots of shock arrows, if you're up to it.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youPlaying this game makes me realize how bad I am at Zelda. I use guides a lot.
I'm pretty sure you can use Stasis on them.
Heart of StoneYiga hideout is easy, just climb sideways out of the bananna room from the rafters and hop down right at the enterance to Kohgas chambers.
Has anyone else tinkered around with the Blood Moon mechanics?
For gits and shiggles I teleported into Hyrule Castle at like 10 to midnight when the moon was red, and when I jumped out at 12:05am it was like it was a non-BM night, with the Guardians I had massacred for Ancient Shafts still dead.
Mind you, the next night after you leave the castle the BM triggers, so unless you're willing to keep popping back in and out it's not going to hold.
(And on the subject of ancient parts, popping Skywatch Guardian engines with bomb arrows to shoot it down before going to town with a sword results in a lot of Ancient Shafts. It's like chopping off walking Guardian legs, but with more of the good stuff.)

All your safe space are belong to TrumpThis seems to have been intentionally patched in because some people complained that they had a BM during the Ganon encounter, which reset it.
Oh god, Ganon falls under his own monster rules?! that's all kinds of not fair
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youFrom the youtube videos, it seemed to be less "Ganon following his own rules" and more "the blood moon cutscene kicks you out of the battle without saving any of your progress".
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.tfw you realize vah ruta's control console is in its ass
Heart of StoneI got the Master Sword and then wrecked one of those decrepit stationary Guardians outside the Akkala lab.
I then decided this meant I could fight active Guardians.
It did not go well.
EDIT: Tuns out they're perfectly killable.

Go for their spider legs.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThat's what I did. One of them knocked over and was helpless as I smashed it with a club.
I sold all my Moblin Horns to pay for my Flamebreaker armour and it turns out that was the ingredient to upgrade it.
Easiest way to kill Guardians outside of Master Mode is to boink their beams back at them by parrying with the shield.
Takes a bit of practice, but super satisfying when you can pull it off.
EDIT: Actually, the easiest way is to shoot them in the eye with an Ancient Arrow.

Heart of StoneI typically like to run them down with a horse and chop off a new leg every time they want to fire a beam.
