Why are some trope indexes not on the page?

Hi, totally new here, and not really looking to edit yet, just askin'.

Why on some pages are the tropes at the bottom, yet on others you have to go to another page for them? For example, look at the Rick and Morty page versus the Steven Universe one. On the R&M one, the tropes are at the bottom, yet on the SU one, you need to go to the bottom of the page. Is there a reason?

If a page has more than 500,000 characters on it, the wiki parser doesn't work very well. The Steven Universe page was split to avoid that problem, but Rick & Morty isn't long enough to warrant such a thing.
