I'm still enjoying his main vids, but I usually stick with his Super Beard Bros videos with Alex. Though I usually watch their full playthroughs instead of the hard Mario hacks and Mario Maker since I'm kinda sick of watching games that induce rage to the players(I thought we were done with that stuff back in the age of Mario World rom hacks and I wanna be the guy clones). While I never really cared for playing LA Noire, watching them play it is way more fun.
BTW, I'm confused why Alex is on the Scrappy page for Super Beard Bros. I haven't heard of him being a dick in the comments nor have I heard people talk shit about the guy(If anything, I've heard more praise then hate), so I don't get why he's considered a Scrappy.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Sad news.
TLDR: Jirard will be removing 120 episodes featuring his former cohost Greg on September 1 as requested by Greg and Jirard will be doing new videos of those 120 games to complete them again.
the only sad loss of those vids is that very long set of ff7 videos i never found greg to be funny at all
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."The big hit is he is going to lose the ad revenue on those videos with so many and such is going to take a income hit, not too large since they are old videos but enough to feel it.
i guess thats why hes now doing six vids a month now to try to combat that loss
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Why did Greg do this.
Money.
Greg likely wasn't receiving any of the ad money and didn't want Jirard getting it. And since they are at the not talking / lawyers phase negotiations are probably out of the question so yoink.
What a jerk.
Heh. Was checking on Twitter and Peanut Butter Gamer was getting mad at Greg tweeting about it, acting all innocent like "I just don't want him using my likeness!" and stuff. I don't really watch the Completionist but I gotta say, this Greg fiasco is frustrating and kinda petty. What's the story with him and Jirrard, anyways?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?i don;t think anyone knows concretely what happened between them but if its at the "i'll sue if you don't remove all trace of me" point it must have been bad
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I'm just glad that Jirard is able to move forward and not let this drag him down.
I have a message from another time...The video mentions they had some disagreement about financial matters that led to their falling out, but nothing very specific. We're not most likely not gonna get a full story or anything and I don't particularly care either way, that's between them and all.
Ok, geez, finally managed to rewatch all 120 episodes with Greg in it Have to say, while Greg jokes were sometimes annoying, he was funnier and less annoying than I remember him being, Egoraptor(that jerk) in Final Fantasy VII special was much more annoying :D
But yeah, also learned that I'm apparently immune to harsh in hindsight cringe considering I was still able to laugh at jokes that become kind of harsh in retrospect, though moments of friendship stuff are pretty sad since it does feel like they did use to be good buds .-. Kind of glad I don't have many friendships so no bad breakups
Also, you know how a lot of youtube comment sections about youtubers always complain about sponsorships and them being sellouts because how dare they do youtubing as job? I find that kind of absurd for completionist comments since rewatching all 120 episodes, they have been growing the brand since from beginning Like, if you complain about business stuff, you clearly didn't pay attention if you watched since from early episodes

Wow, what a petty and selfish asshole. I was actually on Greg's side until he pulled this shit. But now I've lost what sympathy I've had for him. Plus he's pretty much killing his internet career by doing this. Nobody's going to want to work with a guy who made his previous business partner take down all the videos featuring him. Nobody really wins in this situation.
Jirard is not one to do things halfway, be it playing games or redoing 120 videos from the ground up. I don't know how he does it.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo From Software now owns the Tenchu series... Oh, Crap!. The boss battles are gonna be a nightmare.
If they ever bring back Tenchu, i hope they reboot it and set it during the end of Japan isolation period and the rivalries between the Samurai clans who either opposed or supported the Shogun, the Emperor, embracing modernization or the religious groups during that time.
I've been watching Jirard's videos for some time. I like the reviews and I like how dedicated he is to completing these games. I don't think I can go as far he does.
Same. XD
Do you know his origin as a completionist of games?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyNo, I don't know. Could you tell me?

He explained in one video (I can't remember which one, probably not one of his reviews) that his mother would not buy him new games until he completed his current games 100%. He got so good at it that he joked that his mom would dread it a little.
I thought it was sweet.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThis latest episode is about River City Girls
Congratulations to Jirad on joining G4.
What is the G4?
New theme music also a boxSo, here's bad news; apparently, the charity The Completionist helped found and has run events for for close to 10 years hasn't actually been donating anything to charity, like, at all. Ever. The money's just been sitting there accumulating since the beginning.
I noticed this series doesn't have a thread, so I figured why not make one?
I admittingly lost interest in this series after Greg left/got kicked out, but the lack of a thread on this series kind of bothered me. So anyway, one thing I gotta admit is that it's impressive how much time Jirard puts into almost every video he does. I mean, not a whole lot of players tend to 100% complete most video games they play to begin with. The level of detail he goes into is pretty cool.
