I like how Anansi's character basically goes from "Nephew, stop chasing Mariah. She can't be that bad. Revenge benefits no one." to "You know what, I get it now. Fuck you, my nephew should have killed you."
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Can we blame him? Even Luke pondered on not having killed the bitch.

Danny and Luke's team up was probably the most enjoyable dynamic of the season. The one-off episode for Foggy was also a good time. They also brought up Matt the perfect amount. And what’s more, they utilized the interconnected format the best in the way that they let the other shows affect Claire’s arc. While you don’t have to have seen any of the other shows for her reactions to make sense, there’s a lot more depth to them if you’ve seen Daredevil and The Defenders because her relationship with Matt informs many of the things she says to Luke. That at least was very well done.
The crossovers, however, are not entirely perfect. The show did a really bad job exiting out of these crossovers. Foggy is with Luke at Piranha's party when it's attacked and shot up by Bushmaster's goons, and you just don’t see him again (and the legal issues with Cockroach that brought them there, are never mentioned again. It’s easy to infer that they went away because of Cockroach having been killed, but it’s unnatural to not mention that they went away). Danny says he’s gonna help Luke with his Bushmaster problem. They hang out for one day, make progress but don’t solve anything, and then Danny is just gone without any explanation. This isn't to say that these characters should have been in it more, just that their exits should have been explained with some sort of effort. An offhand comment about Foggy calling Luke to check in. Or a line from Danny about why he was going back to Chinatown. Something little.
This problem extends even further though, because it is also seen in the way that Claire’s and James Lucas’ stories played out. In the span of a single episode, Claire goes from saying lines that make it sound like she and Luke are going to get married to completely being gone. And whilst her reasons for suddenly pulling out of the relationship make total sense, the fact that she’s barely mentioned afterwards does not, nor does the fact that her leaving has relatively little impact on the story. And because they don’t do anything with her after she leaves, in the little tag at the end of the season, her offscreen presence doesn’t seem to make sense, and Luke sending her away doesn’t feel earned.
James Lucas disappearing from the story is something I can cut a little more slack for, given Reg E. Cathey died a few months after the second season finished filming. So it’s possible his health unexpectedly kept him from finishing out the arc they had planned for him. However, if that was the case, they should have thrown in a couple lines explaining where he went and what impact repairing that relationship had on Luke. If that was not the case, then the whole arc feels just like an incomplete thought that got abandoned halfway through. Why was Luke’s dad in Harlem to begin with? If anything, that catharsis and forgiveness seems to work against Luke’s main arc, and it ends up getting ignored to get Luke where they want him at the end of the story. Reg E. Cathey did a great job and his scenes with Luke were well done (not to mention they subverted the offensive evil pastor trope that season 1 played into), but they just don’t fit into the overall season very well.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Again, it's just saying that the rights are back at marvel (disney), nothing about a return of the actual show.
You lost! The rights have reverted. Whether a revival happens or not is more up in the air. (Frankly, of these, Daredevil has the most organized of any sort of revival campaign)
The cold never bothered me anywayIt's actually kind of funny, in a dark and cynical sort of way. In a usual passage of time, that two year cap until Marvel could use the Heroes for Hire characters would have meant the MCU moved on somewhat and could have prevented them from striking when the iron was hot.
But then everything shut down for a year, so in the grand scheme of things not much time has passed after all.
The cynic in me also wonders if Marvel's going to start pushing Luke Cage the moment they can because of the current climate.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
You clicked because you thought the third season had been announced. Maybe you thought some of the props were getting sold off... I mean, well, whatever unique props this show had beyond Luke's bullet-ridden hoodie.
Alas, one can only dream what a third season of superhero crimelord Luke Cage might have been like. But, in the mean time, why not contemplate the other things were going on while Mariah Dillard was turning into a hardcore gangster.
