IV's are a bit of a mess. I get their purpose, to ensure every specimen is unique even if they have the same nature, but in practice it's both difficult to manipulate without a 6 IV Ditto (and even then imperfect), and a matter of objective superiority (as opposed to Natures producing subjective superiority).
Hyper Training is a good idea but of course they ruined it with the level requirement and scarcity of Bottle Caps.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!About natures: Sweepers tend to run a +Speed one, while slow attackers tend to run a +(Sp)Atk one. Mixed sweepers tend to sacrifice one of their defenses for speed, while slow mixed attackers may sacrifice speed anyway, specially if trick room is in sight.
Walls tend to have natures that boost one of their defenses while lowering one of their attacks or even speed. They usually boost their better defense, but there are outliers (Blissey tends to have maximized Defense no matter what, to compensate for the lackluster base stat).
And then there are mindblogging things like Tangrowth running + Sp Def -Speed, fully investing its Sp Def, and grabbing an Assault Vest for added measure.
-Speed natures are valuable for Trick Room or users of Gyro Ball.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Speaking of Trick Room...
Mechanically, I know why it has such ABYSMAL priority, but still, jesus, -7?!
I suppose it takes time to fundamentally alter the laws of physics.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.At least make it last longer than four turns.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYeah I agree there.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Like, it's technically five turns, but because it activates at the end of the turn, that's a turn it's active, but not usable.
I think it lasting eight turns, leaving seven turns of use, would be a good idea.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWell, you could go the much longer route of getting multiple 1 IV Pokemon (in appropriate egg groups) and using Destiny Knot and Power items (Bracer, Lens, etc.) to breed perfect IV Pokemon into all your egg groups. Fun!
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromAnd all those Pokemon were migrated from Gen 6.
Linoone and Diggersby were obtained in a single Wonder Trade session as a Zigzagoon and Bunnelby respectively. I figured I might as well Wonder Trade to get them since they were common anyway, and if I didn't get them with Pickup, I'd breed them until I did, but no, I didn't need to do that.
I DexNaved 2 Aipom so I can get 2 with egg moves to create 1 Aipom with Pickup.
Pachirisu I caught wild in X that just so happened to be Modest and have Pickup.
Gourgeist was a Pumpkaboo traded to X from Alpha Sapphire (or the other way around?) that was among the first Pokemon I ever bred, and I only kept the ones with Pickup in case I needed that.
I received a Cheek Pouch Dedenne on Wonder Trade with some cool egg moves (including Covet), but was lied about the IV spread (It wasn't 5IV -Atk like what was marked, but a worse one). Ended up breeding to get a Pickup one, and got one with HP Ice, so I'm good.

Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*We have new news... this single screenshot of Ash Pikachu, or as they're calling it, I Choose You Pikachu.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.OK
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIt looks unimpressive, but this is a form exclusive to USUM.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*Nope. Both the forms (there's one for every hat Ash had in the anime) and the Z move associated with them are in vanilla Sun and Moon, and Japanese players can get both by pre ordering movie tickets for vanilla S/M.
No, SM only has the 6 series hats. This one just revealed is a 7th hat from the new 20th anniversary movie, and it's exclusive to USUM.
Fair.
Not much of reveal than, either way.
Oh, my Arceus. I just sat down as Champion as was challenged by some random new guy named Ryuki who's even edgier than Gladion. More details as they become relevant.
Okay, so he's a rock star from 'across the ocean' which could mean he's from Unova or Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh, but given the name: Ryuki, I'm guessing one of the Japan regions. He's also a Dragon Type specialist with all three of Alola's native Dragons on his team, so he must've been here for a while. What I want to know is: WHO IS THIS MAN, AND CAN HE BE IN ALL FUTURE GAMES, I LOVE HIM?!
You've only just discovered him now?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! He is in a pool of 10 random challengers to be fair.
This is only the third time I've ever defended the title, and the last two were to Hau and Gladion!
By the looks of it, PMC doesn't have any plan of performing Hyper Training.
I did, the process of reaching level 100 was annoying.
My story mode team from Moon isn't even level 100 yet, and if this was any other game, i would've reached it by this point.
I did reach level 100 before, with my Latias and Kyurem, and they spent a lot of time in Poke Pelago, and shoved Rare Candies in their mouths at the final push.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*I just do it on my Pokemon that are already Level 100 from abusing Blissey Bases in AS.
Funny how none of them are in the Alola dex :P.
I have several Lillipup, a Diggersby and I think some Linoone for if I wnated to farm Pickup items.
