Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters
Five years ago, the mutant-hating lunatic known as Donald Pierce went on a rampage through the school halls, confronted by the X-Men as he wreaked a blood-strewn path toward Charles Xavier, the anti-thesis of his hateful ideology. The X-Men halted Pierce and his Reavers, but in the time since, the X-Men have strangely disappeared...and Pierce has, according to the rumours, re-surfaced and is rebuilding The Reavers.
At the same time, the Hellfire Club - a group of old foes - has launched Hellfire Academy, helmed by Shinobi Shaw and Kade Kilgore, a pair of prodigies brought up by none other than Sebastian Shaw himself.
Due to these enemies making themselves known, a select team of mutants has been selected from the student body to receive training to make sure these events do not threaten the student body at large.
And that...is where you come in.
After my last few attempts, I've decided to try something different. I am not only opening sign ups, I am welcoming anyone who wants to form a story and GM out this RP, while I maintain very slight creative influence.
I am hoping that interest will flow, as the X-Men RP's on this site have often ended too soon in my opinion.
