Is the second country's leader voiced by Dan Green? O.o
Sounds more like Patrick Seitz to me.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Truth be told, I didn't expect it to be this fun. Could have done without the friendly fire, though.
Friendly Fire has saved my Knight a few times from cannon fire. Not to mention it's funny to bait your enemies into their own cannons as well. Although I will say I was not expecting the enemies to get the healing from heal special when it went off. Oh well, live and learn.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2The problem is that it's not always clear if you'll hit an ally. Like my healer's poison bottle. It often hits the knight standing between the healer and the target with the bottle, so no warning is given, even if the on-screen trajectory shows no issue.
You're right about that. Every now and again my medic hits my knight when she attacks which sucks.
Also some advanced tactics I learned and have been abusing again AI enemies. A Knight's guard meter is based off of how many action points they have left at the end of the turn. So use no action points and just go immediately into guard and the AI has to usually waste 2 attacks to break it. Use full guard and have your full party around your knight and no one should get hurt other than scratch damage that can he heal after the battle.
[bump now that the game is out in full]
So now that this game is out, what's everybody's starting four? I picked a Medic, a Lancer, an Arcanist, and a Blacksmith as my leader. I'm waiting to find an enemy with a lot of defense structures so I can Drop The Hammer and put her talents to work.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!I stuck with my beta team for one group (it's a balanced team), my second team is a Valkirye, Noble, Shamen, and Female Archer. Female Archers I almost want to say are better than male ones if only because the females can get a range upgrade which allows to stay all the way in the back and hit practically anything that isn't in their face. Shamen's have some nice draining abilities so I need to do some testing to see how high I can increase their health.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2For now, I simply used the vast resources I'd saved up from the beta period to hire another four squads (couldn't hire a fifth and still equip everyone) and left my beta team alone. Then I sent every group out except a random one of the new set, so I could have an underpowered team for the rest of the story missions (my beta team was level 21-22, it recommended level 4 for the second story mission, so...)
Since there's an option to search for and follow other players... my group's called Scarbright. I was unable to use burnpsy as my PSN account for reasons, but I tagged myself that for visibility.

From the guys who made GrandKnightsHistory who then went out to make Spike Chunsoft comes Grand Kingdom. Yes, most of the guys help make the game are ex Vanillaware employees. Alright so what is Grand Kingdom?
Based off personal experience, Grand Kingdom is an JRPG with online elements. You make your team of 4 and then send out to fight for one of four nations (you need to sign a contract with them since you're a mercenary group). Of course you could let the AI fight battles for you while you're away from the game and you still get small bonus for doing that which is nice.
How's the battle system? It's timing based so if you have bad timing reflexes this game might be bad for you. Friendly fire is a thing in this game and it can get your own people killed. Game comes out June 21 2016.
