So I am trying to work out exactly why the designers thought turning Mary Read into a pre-teen girl was a good idea considering part of her legend involves being spared execution on the grounds of pregnancy.

Her art just makes her shorter than she actually is.Sure, she still looks super young, but she's as tall as Artoria.

Welp, almost.She's 158 to Artoria's 154.And Anne is 171, amusingly.

When it comes down to it, there's likely no reason other than 'they wanted another loli character'.

Could've gone with something other than "white haired,scarred,criminal,barely dressed" again.

To be fair, that's only in her last ascencion, and even then, at least the bunny suit is not risking breaking indecency laws, and could pass as a somewhat risqué halloween costume which only looks weird because she's short enough to be confused with a teenager (same as Artoria, actually). If the swimsuit event's CM is to be believed, her hair's also supposta be a very light blue, not white.

Anyway, the point is, I agree, they could've gone for something else for her third ascencion. Admittedly, at least Anne matches, since she gets a pirate-themed leotard herself...

Story quality declining. At the point where Jalter apparently sacrificed herself to buy you time to escape. I'm sorry but no matter how hard you try, GO, Puppy is not a compelling character. I don't care about it and I don't care about its dead wife.

I don't care what you try, that fucking asshole dog will never be a character I like because fuck that dog and its fucking defense buff. But that's my reason for it. Mostly because I don't moonrunes.

During the third fight I managed to keep everyone alive, though I had to reset once when he procced his instant kill against Cu through support Merlin's invulnerability.

I always forget that Drake has invulnerability pierce as part of her NP charge skill. I remember doing an A NP Q chain at one to get stars for Cu the next turn without wasting her NP only for the first hit to go right through evasion.

Fourth fight is the last one right? I ran out of AP after that.

Puppy round four over. Drake went down fairly early and it looked like Merlin would follow soon but his NP kept him just barely alive until the end. Halloween Liz came in for Drake and actually did an okay job of tanking and getting me stars, even surviving until the end thanks to her guts skill being used for more stars.

Oh man, that was boring. Emiya Alter boss fight and it ends before he can even use his NP since the fight is cut short as soon as you break his shield.

I think I feel more strongly about the Wikipedia description of the actual Lobo than about the Lobo of this game.

Were you supposed to bring Evil servants to Lesse Hobo like the Quetzalcoatl fights in Babylon? Fucking hell.

Still don't know who the puppy that follows you around at headquarters was meant to be, unless that's meant to be Lobo's waifu or Lobo itself. But in mini-mode.

I'm liking Moriarty more and more, but its a shame that I wasted all my quartz on pure bullshit. Am I right in that his NP charge skill can't be used until 4 rounds into battle or is it something else.

You need 10 crit stars to activate Moriarty's NP charge skill.

Evil Servants are only for bond bonus points. If you're talking about why you don't seem to be doing much damage it's because of his defense buff.

The white dog is just a dog. It does eventually do something useful but I don't think it's supposed to be particularly significant in and of itself.

Moriarty's skill doesn't work unless he has ten stars to eat, so it's useful to pair it with something like 2030 for use whenever or someone that can generate stars on demand with a skill like Instinct or VOTS.

That's Saber Alter's dog, it does pretend to be Blanca (Lobo's mate) at one point though.

Also wow, this chapter is short, I haven't used any apples but apparently I've only got two battles left.

On the bright side. Moriarty makes Instinct marginally more useful since it'll let you use it whenever.

Pioneer of the Stars also gives exactly 10 stars which makes for decent synergy when paired with him.

Too bad only 3 Servants get that skill.

So what you're saying is I should pair up the ultimate criminal mastermind with the ultimate serial killer that got away.

Well, ultimate support criminal masterminds, anyway.

Well we did prevent Moriarty from destroying the world, I think...

Also I was doing exp runs and realized there's a Level 100 10/10/10 Raikou with LB'ed Kaleidoscope in my Friends List and I was like holy crap, it's like the total opposite of my Gacha luck (with that Raikou, Shiki and Merlin, I'm doing 3 turn clears).

Yeah but that Shinjuku world didn't actually matter at all and doesn't affect reality at all. Only the protagonist was actually in meaningful danger.

Nice, a dance with Jalter this time. She cute.

Also hm I guess that's it for Shinjuku. Probably going to be another few weeks before the next event, so I guess I can focus on finishing up Xuanzang and leveling a few Servants.

I wonder if Holmes will accompany Emiya Alter in the next gacha or if it'll just be Moriarty + Emiya Alter?

Because there isn't another new SSR to use for the second chapter gacha.

Because that totally stops them from making a new one, right. It's not like having a completely unrelated SSR be the rate up for the event would even be a new thing. Ishtar wasn't even mentioned in Christmas, and very few, if any, of the rate up SSR were in the Valentine's event.

Like Sherlock himself. Or even Watson for fun.

Anyway, levels 131-140 seem to give Quartz.
