Raikou node is kicking my ass and not really dropping enough Silver.I think I'll stick to Kiyo.

From what I've seen, Cleo's basically a middle ground between Shutendouji and Jack the Ripper. She's got AOE damage but doesn't debuff anywhere near as much as Shuten does, and she can generate a lot of stars but, again, not as many as Jack does.

She's good and has her own niche to fill. Really, all 5 star assassins fill different niches, so that's good. (Shuten is debuffing so her allies deal more damage, Jack is murderizing female targets and Cleo's all-around damage dealer)

Also, just had Mashu beat Lancelot to end the event. That was inherently funny.

Challenge quests are easier than I thought they would be.

They're probably way easier than originally intended. Probably made so when DW realized that a lot of people only level up a certain subset of servants and that locking NP 5 Liz behind a quest that some literally cannot complete was kind of a huge dick move.

So I managed to get 5 Mata Hari C Es,but for some reason the 5th one isn't getting LB'd.

You do know how LBing a CE works right? You feed four of the same CE to the fifth copy of the same CE.

Anyway finally LB it myself. Nice to get a couple hundred free mana prisms from the challenge quests, now I can buy the fous, exp and final Chaldea Lunchtime before the event ends.

Edit: What's with these heroes of justice participants? Altera? Gilgamesh? Iskander? These guys are assholes.

Wait, even Ibaraki is there. I don't get it.

Ah to hell with it, it's just a completely arbitrary group.

... I'm sure we can find some kind of theme if we search hard enough.

Gilgamesh is Chaotic so it's probably Good.

Ibaraki is Evil, as is Lancer Alter.

I like the moonwalk but all the flashes and sparkles are already getting tiresome after I used a support Cleo to farm silver.

The event BGM suits her really well.

I guess I've been sustained using mine because of all the Twilight jokes. She's secretly a vampire.

Did a 10 roll since I wanted a couple of the drop CE's.

had a good roll. Lots of gold CE. And I even got Lancer Vlad on the last one.

I haven't actually used support Cleo that much.

I used her when farming Kiyohime since she had a LB Da Vinci CE equipped.

Hm. I was thinking that with the five gold Saber gems from the challenge quest that I'll have just enough to get all of Liz's skills to 7 and therefore be past gems altogether but I guess I shouldn't use any more until I fail to get Okita and have to give up.

Edit: Wait, I though Liz always got a buster up on her third skill and then she got a random one of the remaining four buffs. Is that not how it works?

Turns out that info was wrong, yeah.

Yeah, the skill is just not good without that buff. Too high a price. Liz went from Kintoki Rider tier to "Well at least she's better than Saber Lily" tier.

Even with it it wasn't good.

It's not that she's bad, it's just that one of her skills is not worth using.

Given NP 5, she could get 200% NP Charge, use it, get a total of 90% Buster Up and 50% Attack Up and do a ridiculously potent NPBB, significantly more potent than Kintoki Rider's own NPQQ.

Of course, since she only gets 40% Buster Up guaranteed, she's just not worth the ridiculous amount of investment that her third skill needs in order to actually start being worth the cost in some situations. Any skill that has a random element should be ridiculously good when it comes through. That's why you gamble in the first place, especially if the cost is as ridiculously high as one shot of her NP. Even more important when you consider she does not have Jack Tier NP Charge.

Don't you mean 90% buster up or 40% buster up and 50% attack up? Or do you mean the hypothetical 'if buster up was guaranteed' version?

Rider Kintoki can easily refill (or almost refill) his NP bar with an NPQQ so he is more spammable in comparison.

Plus his NP charge skill and then the next round everyone gets to crit, which might very well let you get several other NPs charged.
